That's the question Blake asks himself; what Bubba would do, that is, before deciding to leave winter behind for a well earned Caribbean vacation on di island, with Jimmy as his spiritual compass. It's a tale of sandy beaches, palm trees, pirates, rum, and good times.If you've read any of di other Island Song Novels, you'll of course be familiar with most of the characters in this story. If not, the book was written as a standalone tale, and is a great introduction to the series. Read it first, read it last; like di islands, the when doesn't really matter. Just enjoy.

What would Jimmy Buffett do?
I have a feeling this book is not off by much.
The story was well written and gave my imagination to seeing the scenery as described in the story.
This is one of those books that keep you feeling happy the entire time. In fact, when I started reading this book I all started reading a second book. Quickly I stopped reading the book because I couldn’t put this one down.
The book has one major flaw, not including tickets for 2 to di island! Otherwise, buy the book and set sail for di island.
That’s what Jimmy Buffett would do.

‘What would Jimmy Buffett Do?” is a nice tie in to ‘Di Island’ Series as well as “Rahiti” to a lesser extent. It’s a fun book about someone taking a vacation to Di Island for the first time. If you’ve liked his other books this will be right up your alley (although not as fun as some of the others). If you’re looking for a tropical escape in your mind give this a try.
