Mikael Blomkvist stort zich voor Millennium op een nieuw onderzoek naar mensenhandel in Oost- en Noord-Europa. Na een onenightstand met Lisbeth Salander die weinig aan de verbeelding overliet, scheiden hun wegen weer, maar niet voor lang. Het persoonlijke verleden van Lisbeth duikt immers op een bizarre manier weer op in Blomkvists onderzoek, waarin hij een stukje geschiedenis aan het licht brengt dat het hedendaagse Zweden angstvallig verborgen wil houden.

"Mannen die vrouwen haten", "De vrouw die met vuur speelde" en "Gerechtigheid": Stieg Larssons Millennium-trilogie werd, na zijn dood, wereldwijd een bestseller. Na de verfilming wordt het succesverhaal ook verdergezet in stripvorm. Het verhaal van elk boek wordt in twee delen verteld. De reeks zal dus in totaal zes delen tellen. De eerste twee delen tekende Homs, dit derde deel is van van de hand van tekenaar Man (De klant).
De Morgen: "Millennium blijft spannend, sfeervol en zit tjokvol personages die de lezer bij het nekvel grijpen."

Αν και τα graphic novels αυτού του είδους δεν είναι και πολύ του γούστου μου, τη συγκεκριμένη σειρά τη λάτρεψα. Και πώς θα μπορούσα να κάνω αλλιώς, άλλωστε; Ήμουν καταδικασμένη από την αρχή!

Esta reseña contempla a los volúmenes 3 y 4 de esta colección, obviamente sin spoilers.

Estas ediciones son adaptaciones de la trilogía Millenium escrita por Stieg Larsson y tienen el siguiente formato:
Libro 1: (Los hombres que no amaban a las mujeres/ The girl with the dragon tattoo)
se adapta en volúmenes 1 y 2 .
Libro 2: (La chica que soñaba con una cerilla y un bidón de gasolina/ The girl who played with fire)
se adapta en volúmenes 3 y 4.
Libro 3: (La reina en el palacio de las corrientes de aire/ The girl who kicked the hornet's nest)
se adapta en volúmenes 5 y 6.

No puedo dejar pasar de largo el comentario de que los títulos en español me parecen horribles al igual que las portadas (de los libros, no de las novelas gráficas) .

Por lo tanto en estos dos volúmenes se desarrolla el libro intermedio de la trilogía y como no puedo revelar hechos de la trama, me voy a enfocar en comentarios generales:

- Las ilustraciones van muy bien con el ambiente de la historia, destaco la paleta de colores que acompañaba las escenas (por ejemplo si tenemos una escena tranquila se muestran diferentes tonos de naranja por toda la página pero si en la siguiente tenemos un hecho cruel, los colores cambian bruscamente a tonalidades de azul), es visualmente disfrutable (en cuanto a colores).

-Algo que no disfruto de estos tomos son las imágenes fuertes, no es culpa de la adaptación, la novela es crudísima y por tanto claramente íbamos a tener este tipo de contenido pero la verdad es que me ha llevado a contemplar la idea de deshacerme de ellos. En la parte de atrás tenemos las siguientes advertencias sobre el contenido :
Contiene:
* Lenguaje vulgar
*Escenas de violencia
*Desnudez
*Escenas de sexo
*Violencia sexual

Pongo foco en el último punto, dado que esta historia tiene muchísima violencia sexual. Ustedes se preguntarán; ¿Porqué te gusta tanto esta historia entonces? y la respuesta es que nuestra protagonista, Lisbeth Salander es una de las tantas víctimas de este sistema y es uno de los personajes más inteligentes que he leído y es un placer acompañarla en estas páginas mientras ella desparrama violencia a quienes se la merecen.

-Ambos tomos tienen 64 págs. c/u-

-Esta historia es para un público adulto, tiene mucho desarrollo político enfocado en Suecia. La trilogía original logró que yo volviera a la lectura luego de años sin leer absolutamente nada, cuando leí el primer libro no pude parar y me devoré la trilogía en cuestión de días, fue toda una experiencia lectora y es por eso que amo tanto esta trilogía, luego otro autor se tomó la libertad de continuar la historia agregando libros luego que Stieg Larsson falleciera pero no pienso leer esas continuaciones, para mi esta historia termina en el libro 3.

-No recomiendo tomar el atajo de evitar los libros e ir directamente a estas adaptaciones porque se van a perder lo mejor de lo mejor.

Weird that this (and the next) one are drawn by a different illustrator... I like his style of picturing better: much more clear. In my opinion: Mikael & Bjurman are better, Erika is worse, Lisbeth is pretty much the same.
He can take a little bit more time to tell the story with the illustrations. There's quite a lot of text in this one. But he is great in suggesting something (not pictured) previously happened. Some really nice images too!
A couple of things are not right, story wise, but nothing really major, so 4 stars.

Artwork is great but the horror and thrill that was the original book looses out on being boiled down considerably - read the books before enjoying the art and recap that these comic books really are. They are great but they add to the books if you have read them. If you read these instead of the books you will loose out. Read both but read the books first

Février 2023. 3,5/5 Étrangement, ce tome m’a semblé plus fluide que les 2 premiers. Se retrouver dans le passé de Lisbeth donne envie d’en savoir plus (même si j’ai eu l’impression qu’on s’éloignait de l’original).

Sigue siendo una adaptación decente de la novela, pero a diferencia de los tomos 1 y 2, que adaptan la primera novela bastante apegados a la trama original, acá en los tomos 3 y 4 se toman varias libertades para cambiar ciertos sucesos. Quizá esto ayude a simplificar las cosas para la versión gráfica, pero le resta muchísimo al suspenso y la acción que son parte fundamental de la segunda novela. Me sigue molestando que el dibujo no deje saber a quién estamos viendo.
Se puede leer, pero con los cambios decae bastante.

On retrouve la saga Millenium lue, vue, et maintenant en bd, forcement pas le même choc, mais bon on y replonge avec plaisir ou plutôt dégoût...en y retrouvant l’héroïne fascinante et en avançant pas à pas dans son passé à mesure qu'on traque la bête...
