There are some books that you instinctively know that you thoroughly enjoyed and don’t want to reread in case you ruin the magic. This book most definitely doesn’t fall into that category!
The change from third person to first person tense brings a whole new dimension and depth to an already brilliant book in my opinion. The additional content further enriches this read for the second time round. I already know that I’ll be reading this book again (and maybe again and again 😉). If you already fell in love with the cocky Alpha and feisty badass Alpha/Luna Red I promise you’ll fall that bit more. Highly recommend 💖

My Only Luna was a bit hard to read—not because of the writing, but because I already had an idea of how things would turn out. However, compared to the original, this version is much clearer and gives us deeper insight into each character. We get to know their friends—a guy and a girl—on a more personal level, understanding the emotions they secretly hide.
I won’t spoil anything, but the battle was absolutely heartbreaking for me. I also loved how the famous brothers stepped in to help—it was such a powerful moment! Muse is truly an incredible author. Even though this is a rewrite, she managed to make us revisit Her Forbidden Alpha while still making it feel like a brand-new story.
As always, her books get a 5/5 rating from me because of how she immerses readers in her world and leaves us in awe. As for the spicy scenes, I’d give them a 4/5. I can’t wait for the next book!

My Only Luna continues straight after the cliff-hanger we were left with from book one My Forbidden Alpha.
The rollercoaster ride continues for Elijah and Scarlett in the second part of this rewrite and with the points of view being in first person it continues to add even more depth to the characters, their journey and Muse’s telling of this amazing paranormal love story.
If you have read the original book Her Forbidden Alpha, then you will appreciate the length that Muse has gone to enhance the content of this outstanding book.
The journey that Elijah and Scarlett embark on to overcome the hurdles that they face to be together will pull at your heartstrings. Their romantic journey is just laden with betrayal, heart break, loss, revelations and suspense.
The growth you see in Scarlett’s character is wonderful. You see this strong confident Alpha female finally let down her barriers to let Elijah into her heart. Knowing he is willing to stand by her side no matter what gives her the added strength and encouragement she needs to face her past and overcome it. Letting nothing she has been through discourage her.
I do see Elijah in a new light and love how his character changes and softens to win the heart of his one and only Luna. He has the charm to just make you fall in love with him even more in this rewrite.
The supporting characters that are introduced will have you laughing, crying, shouting and pulling your hair out.
I must admit that this book kept me on tenterhooks from start to finish and I found a new appreciation for Scarlett and Elijah's passionate and intense love story.
I can’t wait as I am so looking forward to seeing how the rest of the re writes go for this series.
Exciting times ahead I predict.

Through all obstacles and past traumas
It’s the 2nd book of the Power of the Bonds Saga. Rewrite of the Alpha series.
I thought I know what am I in it for as I read the original book, Her Forbidden Alpha. But I was wrong. Very wrong...
After the cliffhanger of the 1st book we dived right into the mess of someone who couldn't control themselves.
I was satisfied the punishment and Red Just grew in my eyes even more. I loved her feisty personality but that one move... Wow...
After everything Elijah was there for her, didn't let Red push her away, and let me tell you, she wasn't subtle.
I loved how both character changed in this book. Elijah was all for Scarlett since he realized he loves her. And he wasn't even let another come between them.
Red was hesitant but even her knew she wasn't as happy as she is with her handsome, cerulean eyed man.
There is a character I loved and mourned in the end and I feel even more delighted knowing his memory will be there for us.
Muse's writing always fascinates me, but what she did in this story, I just want to bow down in front of her.
The detailed explanations of certain events added deeper meaning of a character or their actions.
I loved everything in this book. The spice level became high, and I know their bedroom activities just became a lot more energetic than before.
Thank you Muse for this rewrite, I will forever be grateful for Elijah, who proved that a playboy can be loyal if he finds the right woman. And I am happy to know Red, the strong and fierce Alpha Female, who didn't let her past define her.
With that, I still have to warn you about the triggers, Muse wrote down at the beginning of the story. Know your triggers and venture carefully!

“For everyone searching for their Elijah, don’t settle for less than you deserve”
I read Her Forbidden Alpha when Muse wrote it and have been in love with Elijah and Scarlett's story since.
I was so nervous for the rewrites exactly because Elijah is my favorite, but I should have trusted the Muse Goddess. Changing to first person and giving a more in-depth view of the characters makes this feel like an entirely new story.
Elijah is dedicated to loving Scarlett despite the taboo of their relationship and her crippling insecurities. Elijah is everything a man should be, sexy, strong, smart, protective, all the best "Alpha" qualities without any of the bad ones. Truly just an amazing man. A lot of authors weaken their male characters so their females will appear strong by comparison, but not Muse.
Scarlett is every bit the Alpha Elijah is and the epitome of a strong woman, not just physically strong, but her compassion, empathy and strength of character. I love that she still has insecurities and self doubt to overcome, I think that is what makes her the most relatable.
This is a beautiful duo that sets up an amazing series. Everything Muse writes is pure gold and this one is a masterpiece. I cannot say enough good things about this book, especially if I avoid spoilers.

This is the second Book of The Power of Bonds Saga. Elijah & Scarlett's epic love story started in Book 1 - "My Forbidden Alpha" and found its conclusion in "My Only Luna". I suggest you to read book 1 first before starting this one. These books are the rewrites of Muse's popular book " Her Forbidden Alpha".
These rewrites are so awesome and wonderfully written with amazing storyline, great word building, Multiple POVs, added conversations , Intense Emotions and spice.
Scarlett is Bold & Beautiful first ever Alpha female blessed by Moon Goddess. She endured so much in the past but still came out to be strong. She faced her fears & traumas bravely and fought fiercely with the ones who did her wrong.
Elijah is Hot & Handsome Alpha. We can see his tremendous character growth from playboy Alpha to doted and supportive lover. He is so possessive & protective of Scarlett. He has decided that She's The Only Luna for him with or without the mate bond . He always chose her in any conditions and stood by her side in any circumstances and supported her in her decisions and her battle against her cruel father to end his region of terror.
They both fought for their love and became power couple. I love their romantic moments, playful teasing, emotional & tender moments , explosive chemistry and passionate spicy scenes.
Muse has written Elijah & Scarlett's incredible love story so beautifully that you can't help but fall in love with them more once again.

This is not only dark but also taboo romance with stepsiblings and I ate it up. (Not blood related FYI) This story was full of action, pack dynamics and drama between all the characters. It made me FEEL just like part one!
As noted in my book one review, the FMC has past trauma, please read the TWs, and it really added to her character growth through both parts. The MMC is a well-known playboy and, although I don't typically like this in an MMC, it really added to the story and made for some good drama. Once a playboy always a playboy, right!?
This book was a great conclusion to the story! It was interesting, thrilling and delicious. Check it out!

So for the second part of the rewrite, I have to admit that I fell all over again.
The story of Elijah and Scarlett continues and as her true capabilities come to light, so does their forbidden relationship. Through difficulties, they end up together silencing those who were against them.
Things I loved:
- Elijah's resilience regarding Scarlett's denial in the beginning.
- The Blood Moon scene. It's my favorite from all the mate scenes I read; though I have a confession: the original line in HFA when Scarlett realizes they are mates 'There he stood...' is stuck in my head and I don't think I can ever forget it.
- The different POVs. Especially Aunt Amelia and the real reason she treated Jackson like that. Also, Jessica's suffering when she learned the truth about Scarlett's healing.
- The spicy and steamy moments were again OTP.
- The end... Just makes me want to go and re-re read Alejandro. Yeah and now wait for Rafael and Maria's story... Well, in Al's style: Can't F!..ing Wait.

My Only Luna by Moonlight Muse continues from My Forbidden Alpha. It concludes the Elija/Scarlett arc in The Power of Bonds Saga.
In this book we discover more about Scarlett's heartbreaking past where many secrets are revealed leading to emotional turmoil for many of the characters. After the blood moon - Scarlett and Elija, with the assistance of other allies, tackle the problem of her psychotic father. The story continues after those main events and opens the door for the next couple in the arc which will be Rafael and Maria.
This story had me holding my breath in places, spitting mad at certain events and characters, and extremely emotional many times. Moonlight Muse tears your heart out but gently puts it together again making you feel all extremes of the emotional spectrum. If you are looking for a well-rounded book that has spice, emotion, action and completely loveable and unlikeable characters then this is for you. But don't read it without reading My Forbidden Alpha first.
Once you have read these 2 books you will be hooked and the good news is that there are other books to read by Moonlight Muse - which I highly recommend as every single one of her books are amazing. The world building, the plots and the characters are always gripping and really draw you in.

I absolutely loved Elijah and Scarlett’s story the first time I read it, but getting to experience it again from their POV? Incredible. Seeing their thoughts, their emotions, and getting a deeper look into their love story made it even more special. And the added bonus of learning more about the other characters? it was jus amazing.
But let’s talk about Liam. Oh my heart. The first time I read about him, I mourned hard. He was the first character from Muse’s books who truly broke me, and after reading about him again, I know for sure he’ll always have a special place in my heart. Seeing how much he meant to Elijah and Scarlett, and then them naming their kids after him? That was just everything.
And the attack that injured Kiara? Absolutely devastating. Seeing Elijah and Scarlett so heartbroken, with Elijah feeling like he failed even though he did everything he could—it was just so painful to read. Their love, their pain, their strength… it all just made me love them even more.
This book was beautiful in every way. Emotional, heartbreaking, and filled with so much love. Elijah and Scarlett will forever be my favorite power couple

Once again I'm left speechless by Author Moonlight Muse's work.
I read this story twice before, but this re-write brings a whole new dept to the characters and their path in the story and I'm so glad I had the privilege of receiving an ARC.
After the leaving us in a clifhanger in book 1, MOL take's us in an incredible and emotional ride in the most amazing roallercoaster, through Elijah and Scarlett's story.
In this second book we get to know more of Scarlett's heartbreaking past, but the way she was abble to confront it and turn trauma into strenght forging a new path, was one of my favourite parts. As for Elijah's we watch him grow as the story progresses and turn from a playboy to a real man, who stands by the one he loves, no matter what.
This book made smile, cry with the most emotional scenes, but also bluch ocasionaly from all the spicy scenes, that are placed just wright.
It is really a wonderful story, written masterfully by the most amazing author who, once again, leaves us anxiously waiting for the next chapter...
Can't wait to see what book 3 will bring.

An truly exhilarating read
I have devoured this book in a day not being able to stop reading it.
This is book 2 in the Power of bonds saga series and the second part of Elijah and Scarletts story.
It is a shifter romance with a taboo relationship of step siblings.
Elijah and Scarlett face many battles in both the fight for each other, their pack and their lives.
This book is action packed with family, friends, found family, spice, betrayal, an epic battle and sizzling spice.
This is a rewrite of a book I have read twice before and what an amazing job the author has done. Moonlight muse shows multiple povs through this book which helps you understand side characters, what's going through their heads in different scenarios. These are few and far between so don't in any way distract from the main characters but help build a bigger more in depth story. This is something I have rarely seen and often wish for and I love that the author does this.
If you are a fan of shifter romance then I honestly can't recommend both parts of this story enough. Moonlight use is always an instant read for me and never fails to hit every emotion available when reading her books.

I thought I wouldn't cry... Since I've read the OG book several times. I thought I would be safe from the tears.
Man was I wrong. Moonlight Muse pulls everything out of you. And when you think she's done...she pulls more.
Book 2 picks up from the cliffhanger left in book 1. Scarlett's left feeling betrayed and losing trust in Elijah. While Elijah is sure of his feelings for her and he's dedicated to show her.
I love how even with this being a retelling, we were able to get so much more of the pieces that I always wondered about. More in depth POV's with multiple POV's. You get the parts from everyone where it makes so much sense for the current book as well as the books to come.
Scarlett remains the strong Alpha female that she is, while being able to lean into a softer side for Elijah.
I loved the added parts of asking for Liam's name and finding out how she found her daughters name. It was a truly beautiful touch and I'm thrilled with the way she ended the book, giving us the perfect stopping point to bring in the next books.

This is the 2nd book to the two book remastered story of "Her Forbidden Alpha". This new series is the remastered and additional stories called The Power of Bonds Saga.
Initially I was nervous about the rewrite, because I loved the story the way it was and didn't want it to change; however, I was wrong. This remastered story is better than the first. I love all the different POVs from not only the two main characters but from also the side characters. Just reading their POVs and their feelings allowed you to connect with them more. Having read the original did not even take away from going through the different emotions with this book, as well as part one. This book starts exactly where the first book left off so you will need to read part one first.
It’s the conclusion of Elijah and Scarlett's love story and what they have to overcome to get their HEA. It's not an easy ride, so I will say please read the trigger warnings. I laughed and cried; my heart broke in areas like it was the first time I read it. I will always recommend this book, it's that good. And it's one that I can read over and over again.

Muse created a unique world that grew so much that there’s 13 books, 1 serializing, 2 novellas, and more in the works. I’m happy she decided to go back to the beginning and rewrite this book—not only for the POV style, but the overall growth of the story itself. I got to learn about the characters more in depth, and the writing is more consistent with the series than the first version (which I still loved, haha).

This book starts right where My Forbidden Alpha finishes giving you all the romance, tension, dispair and action that the first book put in place. In this story not only does our Alpha female have to deal with her violent father but the mate ball looms and although Elijah has said she is his Luna there are doubts that he would reject her as promised. They also have to deal with Jackson and his denial and not understanding their relationship.
I loved this book the first time round and the re writes just add something extra and special. The change of POV just adds more to the characters and the tension in the storylines. The battle scene towards the end is intense and so brilliantly written that it had me in tears even though I knew what happened.
This book kept me hooked from start to finish and made me fall in love with Scarlett and Elijah's intense relationship all over again. It made me laugh, smile and cry and introduces us to my favourite Muse character, Alejandro. I can't wait to see how well the rest of the re writes go for this series.

It is a love story, yes. Romantasy, definitely. However, the one thing that often gets overlooked is the action sequences. For me, they were described so well that while reading, I felt like I was actually in the middle of the conflict. I've read the succeeding books, so I know there is more to follow, but it didn't take away from the enjoyment of anticipating what will happen in upcoming books when certain characters are highlighted.
Even with fictional characters, I have difficulty dealing with important players dying or getting hurt, so you can probably imagine me hiding behind a pillow while reading the battle scenes.
All around an EXCELLENT STORY! I would tag it as a MUST READ, but you need to make sure to read MY FORBIDDEN ALPHA first.

My all-time favourite book is the original Her Forbidden Alpha, and I loved the rewritten versions just as much. The original was split into a two-part rewrite, with My Forbidden Alpha being the first part, available on Kindle, and My Only Luna being the second part, which has just been completed.
As a new Indie Author, I was blown away by Her Forbidden Alpha when I first read it, getting so lost in the story that I forgot about my real-world troubles. When I heard it was being rewritten, I was thrilled. Author Moonlight Muse delved deeper into the characters' motivations and added more POVs, making the story even more engaging. I was sad to see it end.

They have to fight it out to help Scarlett’s original pack where her dad reigns.
I really love this O.G Alpha Couple! They have developed such a dynamic relationship, they are ready to defy all odds with their forbidden relationship being step siblings and having to attend a Bloodmoon mating bond to find their fated mates. Blood is spilt, tensions remain high most of the time, It is such a thrilling read and I cried many times throughout, but it was such a beautiful end to Elijah and Scarlett’s story.
My thoughts on the characters:
Elijah- oh I am so happy he grew up and matured a little bit more. He’s still typical Alpha male- possessive, arrogant and still draws you in and you can’t not love him! I love seeing his defensive side especially when he stands up against his dad- Jackson (the Jerk) and hes a bit of a romantic with our girl, Scarlett. He is on his way to become one very amazing Alpha.
Scarlett is an absolute firestorm of a kickass Alpha Female- Elijah has met his match! She’s grown more confident, she’s a force to be reckoned with, an absolute babe who is as possessive and stubborn as Elijah. Give him hell Scar!! I absolutely adore her nickname, Red- so much feeling in such a small word but when you read Elijah say it, it melts your insides a little.

She’s grown more confident, she’s a force to be reckoned with, an absolute babe who is as possessive and stubborn as Elijah. Give him hell Scar!! I absolutely adore her nickname, Red- so much feeling in such a small word but when you read Elijah say it, it melts your insides a little.

This book is a rewrite of "Her Forbidden Alpha", which will always have a special place in my heart as it was the book that got me back into reading in 2022.
I love this book and the rewrite is so good!
I'm not a huge fan of third person so I love that this has changed to first person, I feel like it gives so much more depth to the story as well. I also love the additional content that has been added too ❤️
This book is a rollercoaster of emotions and you won't be disappointed 😍
I cannot wait for the next rewrites!!!

Picks up right where My Forbidden Alpha ends. There is a shift in this book. It's less YA immature stuff and even less spice, still some spice but it's more balanced, with focus more around the storyline and drama and the romance of Scarlett & Elijah as they commit to each other.
There is a lot of predictable content;
The mates ball.
Fiona.
Alejandro, Rafael's brother, hints at his differences.
The storyline wraps up at 90%
The last 10% jumps into the future, focused around the offspring of the couples.
My assumption confirmed, setup for Alejandro book, which I now want because that ending intrigues me.
Another predictable twist on who his mate is?
