A story of revenge. A sister scorned and broken after the death of her sister. Ella Knight has plan to bring down the man that ruined her sister Lydia, who committed suicide.
Ella believes Damon Hunt is to sole reason for her sister's suicide. With her sister's diary the source of Ella 's revenge. The pages reveal Lydia ' s love for Damon that soon turns to broken heart despair and Lydia ' s ultimate ending.
Ella 's plan to seduce the gorgeous Damon is easy. They meet, they have sex.....hook, line and revenge begins. She knows she can break Damon but what she doesn't plan for is her own heart to get involved.
Their sexual chemistry is combustible.
" Butterflies take flight in my stomach. Just a kiss pulls me in. His lips are devine. I want him to keep me."
Damon needs Ella....he needs to keep her for his own. But he is fighting a past that is dark and he can't find away to tell Ella the truth.

Corrupted is the debut novel by Alicia Taylor and Natalie Townson, this is the first of their Manipulation trilogy and the premise is something new, unique and different.
Ella Knight is a woman who has lost everyone who she's loved, so takes her grief, loss and anger and focuses it on solely getting revenge for her sister Lydia's death. She becomes the Mistress of manipulation and can switch off all feelings and emotions to get what she wants and deliver the justice she feels is deserved. She now is ready for her main target..... Damon Hunt, businessman, alpha male and the reason for Lydia's death, or is he??
Damon is an enigma, you as the reader and Ella don't get to see Damon as he's a master of deflection, shutting down and topic changing. He always speaks the truth though and he may not always answer but he never lies. He's also closed off but Ella gets through to him, she breaks his barriers down whilst also allowing herself to feel again. This is the question: Is the player being played? Is everyone just playing games or are real feelings being felt?
There is a third person in this 'relationship' an eerie, malevolent presence throughout this book in Lydia, she has 'corrupted' Ella's mind and possessed it to carry out these malicious mind games which will destroy more than Ella's target it will break her too...
This book really drew me in from the first page, I felt Ella's thirst for vengeance but her craving for a connection with someone after all the tragedy she'd suffered. Her conflicting emotions over Damon and a revelation that will leave you desperate for book two Warped!!!

Wow this is a fantastic debut novel. I'm amazed that two people can get together and make such a great debut story.
What a great character Ella is. She's feisty and knows what she wants.. Revenge for her sisters death. You really need to 1-click to meet Damon!!!!!
This is a really brilliant gripping read. I read this pretty quick as I really didn't want to put it down. What an ending!!! I really don't like cliffhangers but I've been told we won't be waiting too long for book two. I'm so looking forward to reading more by these two wonderful authors.

You can tell this is someone’s debut book. 2 stars.
Plot: her sister was obsessed with the H, then committed suicide over him. The h, who’s like this bitchy fem fatale, is trying to ruin him by making him fall for her.
3 book trilogy, and the stories are short, about the size of a Harlequin book.
I enjoyed the plot, liked seeing a unique kind of a heroine (fem fatale, more please),
but the writing was amateurish with so many errors, and she ultimate ends up being another body betraying doormat by the end of the book.
Book is extremely repetitive as well.
We get that she hates him, but we don’t need this repeated every 3rd page.

There’s om/ow drama.
- she kisses the Hs brother after sleeping with the H to make him jealous,
and also to cause trouble between the brothers.
Her intentions are to ruin the H in every way, that includes his relationship with his family and friends, so she’s constantly playing mind games.
- The ow, his ex f buddy kissed him at 90%. He was mad at the h, so he called her to come over (I read that for a hook up, but his intention werent confirmed), but changed his mind when he calmed down, and canceled.
The ow came over anyway and kissed him and the h, walked in and saw them, and ran off. H ran after her. He said he was pushing the ow away.
This ow caused a lot of fights between them.
Ends in a cliffy.

This is a dark read as it's one womans journey to find vengeance but her path has been set due to grief and misery. It follows Ella as she focusses her pain on one man, Damon/Demon. Ella believes him to be responsible for the death of her sister. She has her diary to prove it and it becomes her bible whenever she needs inspiration or strength she draws it from her sisters most inner thoughts.
The diary adds another dimension to this novel and had the hairs on the back of my neck standing on end.
Ella is a strong but very broken woman who is blinkered to everything but her quest to destroy Damon. She has no other thoughts but focuses her energy on this end goal. She fights an internal battle with herself as she loses herself to Damon's wants and feels. She rages with her inner conflict.
Damon is quite a mysterious figure and it's hard to fathom him out. We have an opinion based on the diary excerpts and he is quite closed down and solitary. He is a man with a past and he too has secrets he's hiding. But I warned to him as he feels overwhelmed by Ella and he wants to keep her! Oh have I mentioned he's hot too?!? The sex scenes had me swooning...but this isn't what captured my heart with this novel.
It's a beautifully written novel about broken psyches, immersed in grief trying to piece themselves together with love. Both characters had me hooked. I want to know more...NOW! Knowing it's a trilogy I was expecting the cliffhanger and then next one I expect even more twists and turns. A little more of the supporting hot males would be great too...Tom is Ella's best friend (also hot sexy and gorgeous) Spencer is Damon's brother (swoon).
Lastly onto Leona....Hmmmmm. I have a feeling there is more to this bitch than meets the eye. She is a constant thorn in Ella's side. She is manipulative and a master puppeteer. Why does Damon run to her?!?!
See so many questions! This us a stunning debut novel by two wickedly talented ladies. Cannot wait for book two. I was blown away. Thank you for a heart wrenching read.

WOW, WOW, WOW, this is the debut novel by this dynamic duo and I am totally blown away, well done to both!!!
Ella Knight is looking for revenge,the only remaining person in the world who she loved has died and its all down to one person, or so she thinks, unfortunately she is acting on impulse, she has only one goal and she wont stop at nothing, her mind and judgement has been clouded by hatred and she is like a lonely vessel navigating towards a turbulent current that will kill everything on its path.
Damon Hunt, is a successful and totally gorgeous businessman, on the outside he is your typical alpha male, he gets everything he wants, and he wants Ella, he has scars of his own and his obsession is so great, he is prepared to lower his defences, to share any darkest secret, he is prepared to give up his soul to retain the person he loves.
Unfortunately Ella is broken she has no real feelings for anyone and particularly men, unfaithful, deceitful, abusive men who only are after one thing, she is like a vigilante, she has sworn to protect other women who have fallen pray to these group of men, but she only wants to make one man suffered the most, she will make sure he regrets everything he did to her sister, and so it begins, a game of manipulation, a hunt, an unstoppable chase; but what happens when the person you want to hurt the most is the one person that awakens your deepest and most hidden desires, the only one that with one touch and one word makes you loose all reason? Ella is frightened by this sudden feelings and she is in a constant internal battle trying to remain focused and not loose herself or her heart in the process.
This book is a total page turner, although I am not a big fan of trilogies and hate cliffhangers, this totally worked for this book, the chemistry between the leads is explosive, and even though the story moves backwards and forwards it is done in a very organised way and the flow continuous regardless of this. I cannot wait to read the second instalment I am totally addicted!. BRAVO!!! ISALOVESBOOKS. 5 STARS *****

I have mixed feelings about this book, at times loving it and at other times annoyed by the heroine. It took a little while for me to get into the story but once I did it was worth the read. Ella annoyed me because she seems to change her mind at the drop of a hat, but given her circumstances and age I was able to look past her indecision and see it as part of the storyline. I wish there was more of a build up to the start of Damon and Ella's relationship rather than just Ella's internal thoughts and feelings filling in the back story.
Ella's sisters diary entries make her sound like she was a little crazy and leaves you wondering exactly what type of relationship she was actually having with Damon but Ella seems blind as she can only see how much Damon hurt her sister.
While we don't find out what Damon's secrets are in book one we get a glimpse of a man who can be caring and gentle but also his hidden rage and carnality that lie beneath the surface.
The second half was full of drama and suspense leaving you to wonder exactly what Damon's intentions actually are. Is he playing a game like Ella suspects he is or does he genuinely have feelings for her?

Corrupted had me hooked from the prologue.
Ella Knight is an amazing character, she draws you into the book with her passion for vengeance against one man. Damon Hunt is her target
Ella is suffering from the loss of her sister, Lydia but that grief turns into anger and a thirst to destroy Damon, she blames him for her sisters death.
"Love isn't real. It hurts people and it's a word used to often without meaning" Ella
This book is so much more than a romance novel, it's a book with mystery and passion. the story takes you into the past of Lydia, and leaves you craving for more, not wanting to put the book down. There is a puzzle to this story with Ella, Lydia and Damon.
Ella soon finds herself confused about Damon, she is supposed to hate him. They have a passion that's like fire and Damon wants Ella to be his.
This is the first book in this series and the minute I finished it, I couldn't wait to get the second one. If you are going to add any book to your list of reads trust me it's this one.

Oh my, I have been completely hooked with this trilogy. I am doing a happy dance as for a change it's an ENGLISH written story. That's a major YAY! Written by two British Lasses that have stayed true to their country and written it in a British setting. Brilliant! Why have I mentioned this? Well I know a fair few British authors who write American so it is sooooo refreshing for an author to remain true to their origins and write 'at home'. Now onto Corrupt.
Let's start with:
Damon the Demon - oh my, I love him, I hate him. Alicia and Natalie have written him with the perfect mix of arrogance, nastiness and also unease. You really are left with mixed feeling over him. Perfect ☺ Its the unknown element that has you on your toes and written very well as I felt like the end of of yoyo by the end of Corrupt! The constant up and down with my feelings was great.
Ella - well she captures your attention immediately. I was drawn to her revenge, immediately seated into the need for her revenge and my heart broke with her. Ella is out for blood, the practice runs are done and it's time to go in for the kill, but what she didn't expect was the Demon would turn it around. I felt her every falter, I argued with her that come on, stick with the plan and I argued a lot more stuff with her too. Again = perfect.
Alicia and Natalie have penned a very visual and engulfing start to this trilogy, with just the right amount of trauma and right amount of romance. Complete with nasty bitch who I cannot wait to see her comeupance - insert evil grin.
I am being stingy with my 5 stars at the moment, I am soooo close to giving Corrupt the Fully Monty but nope I am going to hold back, this is definitely 100% firmly planted in the mid to top range of 4 stars and I can't wait to devour Warped, I really can't. This has gone straight onto my Goodreads favourite shelves and I am pretty certain that this will only get better and better.

God what a great book,
How do I even start this book was absolutely amazing as soon as I read the blurb it caught my attention and I just had to read it so I got the book of Amazon and just dropped my book and started reading this straight away, it was so captivating, it definitely drew me in at the start.
This is a dark romance And I say that it should have had more reads because it was so so heart wrenching and at the same time beautiful.
At the start, the way the author introduced Ella knight, really did tell you a lot about her and who she was and what she wanted to do:
"I am going to marry a monster.

He manipulates people for fun.
He takes over their lives, consuming them. He dominates and crushes, ruling them, claiming their souls.
No one has survived the games of Damon Hunt, so far."
So Ella tries to do the same to those who are having intentions as the same as Damon and she finds no joy at out of it, Especially after the incident she believed there was no such thing as love that it was pointless and would only ruin you in the end.
Ella decides to play Damon's game and to break his walls down and break his heart as revenge for the death of her sister Lydia Who was the last person Ella had, She mourned her sister's loss and blamed Damon after reading her sister's diary.

I really liked this book, it wasn't what I expected and it had a few twist and turns but it really made me have a lot of questions at the end and that's what an author is targeting for, is for their readers to have a lot of questions about it.
I think more people should read it and everyone should share with their friends, it has been an amazing journey to have the honour of reading an excellent book, And I hope to be reading the second one soon I haven't had time to get it.
How do I even start this book was absolutely amazing as soon as I read the blurb it caught my attention and I just had to read it so I got the book of Amazon and just dropped my book and started reading this straight away, it was so captivating, it definitely drew me in at the start.
This is a dark romance And I say that it should have had more reads because it was so so heart wrenching and at the same time beautiful.
At the start, the way the author introduced Ella knight, really did tell you a lot about her and who she was and what she wanted to do:
"I am going to marry a monster.
He is my everything.
He manipulates people for fun.
He takes over their lives, consuming them. He dominates and crushes, ruling them, claiming their souls.
No one has survived the games of Damon Hunt, so far."
So Ella tries to do the same to those who are having intentions as the same as Damon and she finds no joy at out of it, Especially after the incident she believed there was no such thing as love that it was pointless and would only ruin you in the end.
Ella decides to play Damon's game and to break his walls down and break his heart as revenge for the death of her sister Lydia Who was the last person Ella had, She mourned her sister's loss and blamed Damon after reading her sister's diary.

OMG!!! WTF just happened?!? Sorry I can only seem to speak in abbreviations after reading this mind-f*ck of a book!! I can’t believe that this book is not only a debut, but that it was written by two authors!
Corrupted is the story of Ella Knight, a woman seeking revenge on men who treat woman poorly.

It is a game to her. Her major target is Damon Hunt, the Demon. Damon is a manipulator and played her sister, Lydia. Lydia was the only family she had left and she lost her due to Damon. He needed to pay. She was going to beat him at his own game. However, when feelings besides hate become involved will she still be able to win the game? Or will she lose just like her sister? And the feelings aren’t one sided – Damon falls for Ella and he falls for her hard. Or does he?
I loved how it was written; flipping back and forth between the past and present. I really enjoyed Lydia’s diary entries too!
And did I mention there are some seriously steamy scenes! Make sure you have spare panties handy while reading!

Corrupted is book one in that manipulation trilogy by Alicia Taylor and Natalie Townson.. This is a debut novel by this writing Duo.
Corrupted starts at a very fast pace. Ella is a woman's out to seek revenge, for the death of her sister and all that she has lost. She blames one man for the downfalls in her life - Damon Hunt he used her sister he manipulated her sister and now it is Ella's chance to seek revenge and ruin him.
But when emotions become involved lines get blurred. Is this all just a game? Or is this really love? How can she love a man that ruined her sisters life?
This book is complex, awesome writing at its best. These authors it did an amazing job at conveying Ella's emotions. You know she's wrong but you understand the pain she feels.
Just like with Damon you can't help but want the diary to be wrong. You want this couple to be able to come together and seek solace in each other, take the comfort in each other that they obviously need. They have chemistry off the chain!
They are stuck in a web of manipulation, deceit and secrets. I have to find out more about Damon's past, I want him to be a genuine Person and I want Ella to find true love.. I want a lot I know! Especially with the crazy ex's in the mix!!
I cannot wait the book two so I can get the answers I'm so desperately looking for!!!

Wow! If I had one word to sum up Corrupted by Alicia Taylor and Natalie Townson that would be it. I thoroughly enjoyed every single page of this book. After I read the last page, I wanted the second book in the trilogy instantly. Ella Knight is out for revenge against the man she blames for her sister's death, Damon Hunt. She's learned to play his game and after a couple years of practice she is ready to take him on.With her sisters journal in hand she goes after Damon. What she doesn't expect is that Damon knows when to say the right things. The story unfolds at a fast pace that leaves you turning the pages wanting more. Is Ella going to be able to win the game against Damon? Is there more to Damon that what she knows from her sister's diary? To find out the answers, you'll just have to read it.

I was really excited to read this books. I loved the blurb because it just pulled me in and if a blurb can do that then imagine the story.
This book is a sexy dark read. The story did not disappoint at all.
The sex scenes were fantastic and the story line amazing.
Let me explain the book. Ella lived with her sister, her pops (dad) dyed a few years ago and her sister is the only family she had left. Her sister started a new job and then started sleeping with the boss. Things turn ugly and Ella's sister commits suicide. Ella spends 3 years following and watching her sisters boss because she believes that he is to blame for her death. She wants to ruin him. But feelings start to emerge and complicate things. The book ends of a very exciting cliffhanger.
I loved Ella from the start, she is a strong female lead. She has learnt to cope on her own and depends on no one.
Damon is a tricky character, one minute I hate him then I would begin to like him. But then he would do something stupid and I would hate him again.
Damon and Ella need their heads banging together because they could be a great couple. I think they both need to be honest about their pasts and get everything out in the open.
I loved this books and as soon as I finished this book I went and brought the second one which I can't wait to start reading!!

5 stars!!!!
This is by far the best book that I've read this year!!!
When this book was released last year, I wanted to read it but knowing it's a trilogy, I stayed away from it. and now that the last book was released....!!!!!
I have a lot to say but my thoughts are all over the place so, this is going to be a messy review.
I like the chemistry of the main characters. I love them, I love the characters, and I hate that Leona bitch!!!
I love how Ella hates Damon and yet she couldn't help her reaction towards him, I know there's a lot of books with the same plot but hell, the writing style is great that the moment I skipped a sentence or a short paragraph I'd go back to it and read it. That's how I love the writing style! I love the story flow, I love the word flow, I love the scenes, the drama, I also love the love scenes, I love how sweet Damon gets that I don't even believe he's the monster Lydia was talking about in her diary.
This novel was more than satisfying, it was very filling! I love that the guy didn't want to have children, I like the revenge for her sister, I love the ex-gf or ex-Fuck buddies, I love the lies or the secrets! I love everything!

I was lucky enough to be gifted this book and OMG! I absolutely loved this book! Damon and Ella... WOW! Brilliant debut Ladies.
Ella is on the hunt, for Damon Hunt to be precise. She has nothing to lose, the death of her sister has her seeking revenge and she will stop at nothing. She is going to hunt the "demon" (Damon) and break him until he is a mere empty shell of the man he used to be.
What Ella didn't bargain on is that Damon would be so good at this game, he was enticing her in and she couldn't stop the way her body reacted to his touch and sound and the way he managed to get into her head and make her believe love was possible. No! She had to get back on track, shake these feelings and carry out the plan she had perfected over the past 3 years, because after all this was all just a game to him, wasn't it?
Well done Ladies on a fantastic debut! I thoroughly enjoyed Corrupted and can't wait to read Warped.

I always love to read a trilogy because once you have read the first book, you know there is more to come and especially if the story is a good read, well 'Corrupted' was definitely a good read, I couldn't put it down until I finished, page after page I kept thinking hurry up I need to know what's going to happen next.
Ella & Damon's story is different from your sweet girl wants millionaire, it's more sweet girl wants revenge for her sister by screwing possible millionaire but Damon definitely wants sweet Ella.
How this story will go is anyone's guess because so far nothing has been what I expected.

Wow-wee - what a story of manipulation! Ella, seeking to avenge her sister's death, vows to bring down the man she blames and in the process falls in love with that very demon. Ella finds that revenge isn't so easy once real feelings are involved. There were times when I wondered why both Ella and Damon were putting up with what each other were doing. There were several times that if I were Ella, I would have left, or if I were Damon, I would have kicked out Ella. But when I stopped and thought about why one or the other didn't leave, I had to wonder if it was all part of the greater manipulation. The story ends in a cliff hanger, and it's not really clear who is playing who. I'll be interested to see how this plays out in the second book.

Ella, filled with hate and living for Revenge. Target, Damon. Alpha player that is responsible for destroying everything and everyone Ella ever cared about......or did he? I am not sure what the next two books have in store for us. I hope they will find their HEA but nothing is as it seems. Just when you think you have it figured out things you find out how wrong you are.

4.5 STUNNING STARS!!! I was floored to learn that this book was a debut novel!! It was so flawless, beautifully written, and a one of a kind!! The authors swept you deep into the life of Ella and kept you there! I read the book in less than a day and NEED the next book NOW!! This story will leave you wanting and needing in more ways than one! Let's not forget about the hot, steamy, panty wetting sex!! A MUST read for everyone!!

This is a fantastic debut novel by two authors and it is fantastic. The premise of the story is Ella wants revenge for her sisters death and Damon is her target. You think you know where this story is going but there are so many twists and turns and nothing is as it seems. Ella knows about her sisters relationship through her diary, there is something disturbing about the diary entries to me and I have a feeling that we will learn more in the next instalment and I hope it's soon.

Parts of this story just doesn’t make sense. A lot of parts. He knows a woman for one day and allow her to practically move in with him like this loving couple who’ve known each other for a while? He looks into her well enough to know her address without her telling him but doesn’t realise she has the same last name as her sister(his previous personal assistant who works for him). And I’m guessing no family resemblance either. It’s just so much that does not add up in this story. Just two strangers who are playing house that do not know more about each other than surface items like what is their favourite movie or meal. The storyline has potential but was not written well.

now i am hooked. This was such a great, easy and creative book. i was hooked after the first page.
The characters were easy to fall in love with and follow, along with the story. the author made the mental visions so easy and vivid of the surroundings and the characters actions felt so real.
i would highly recommend this author and this book.

4,5 stars BUT DNF "Warped". Too much round and round was making me impatient and Damon was beginning to piss me more than Ella (wich is an understatement because she manage to get on my last nerve).
