When I read a novel written by Jasmine Haynes, I have learned to expect three things. First, her novels are very well written and fast paced. I literally devour every word and come up for more! Second, I know that the main characters will experience multiple emotions. They will cry, be happy, fall in love and grow comfortable with themselves. Third, there is ALWAYS scorching chemistry between the hero and heroine that just intensifies as their relationship develops and eventually fall in love. In her latest novel Show and Tell she delivers all of those things and more!

When always perfect, sexually repressed socialite Trinity Green decided to come home early from her best friends baby shower, she was more than a little surprised to find her conservative, slightly boring husband in shower with another woman. Angry at herself for making a reckless decision to marry him in the first place, she decides to start a new life and shake things up a little bit.

While on the voyage of self discovery, she holes up in a hotel room. Feeling betrayed and sexually frustrated, she decides to release some pent up desires, take matters into her own hand, and take charge of her sexuality. Unaware of the too thin walls, she lets it all hang out, not knowing that she is giving the man in the room next to hers her pent up sounds of passion.

Scott Sinclair thought it was going to be an ordinary night. Come to the hotel after a business meeting, watch some television and have some well deserved sleep. So, when the sensual sounds of the woman next to his room started to break through the silence of his lonely room, he quickly decides that this is better than any boring television show or porno movie he had ever witnessed. Intrigued and turned on by the sexy siren’s voice, he decides to take a chance and go next door and introduce himself and to give her an offer he hopes she can’t refuse.

Trinity doesn’t know if she is more shocked or embarrassed. The last thing she ever expected was a sexy, handsome stranger knocking on her door and offering her his body for some sexual tryst. Deciding to keep it simple and anonymous she refuses to give him her name, although he tells her his. Feeling sexy, and very unlike the “perfect” Trinity, she quickly decides to live a little, and the both have a night of raw passion. Later, he gives her his card and says that he wants to continue their rendezvous, letting her be in charge if and when they would get together.
Feeling more alive than ever, Trinity decides to meet up with Scott on her terms, never letting him know her identity and very little about herself.

For once, she feels like she is calling the shots and taking charge of her life. In this journey of self discovery she begins to realize that she has feelings for Scott. Even though he pushes her for more than just a sexual relationship, can Trinity reveal her true self to Scott and take a chance?

I truly enjoyed every second of Show and Tell. I felt like I was witnessing Trinity’s change of character firsthand. She truly becomes a stronger, self reliant woman who learns to fight for what she believes in, and for the man she grows to love. I will say that there were times I wanted to push Trinity to give into Scott faster. He was extremely patient with her. Not pushing too much, but enough for her to give more of herself and her life to him. He is truly a smart, sexy man who knew a good thing when he saw it.

We first met Trinity in The Fortune Teller. Show and Tell is the second book in this series. I think Show and Tell can be read as a stand alone read, but I would suggest reading The Fortune Teller also because of some of the back story, and you get to revisit some the characters in Show and Tell.

If you are offended by strong language and explicit sexual situations, this book may not be the book for you. Otherwise, get a cold drink and enjoy!!

Wonderfully written, very romantic with a slight twist on the "wild" side. I enjoyed reading this one and will look for other books by this author! The characters both had problems to overcome and how they grew in the story was very well done. I thought Scott's character was so neat and level-headed. Trinity had to learn how to grow up. They had a 15 year age difference, but the author handled it well by making Scott a very sexy man and Trinity had a good head on her shoulders (when she allowed others thoughts not to steer her decision making).

The two main characters arranged rendevous in some neat places and pushed themselves to their limits on more than one occasion. There's a touch of mystery in here, learning to get along with co-workers and family. The ending was...perfect. ;-)

Nice story.

This one was very interesting, a story about a woman finding herself by letting herself go by having a naughty affair.

Trinity walked in on her husband with another woman, called him on it, then packed a bag and left. At a hotel she decided to take the edge off her sexual frustration herself. In the room next door a man hears and is instantly attracted and did something shocking, he went next door and asked if he could watch her, and Trinity answered with an even more shocking answer of yes. The next morning Trinity woke up to a envelope with the mystery man's business card and a request to see her again.

Trinity impulsively she calls Scott and tells him where to meet her. Their relationship keeps going like this, Scott doesn't know her name, her phone number, or anything personal about her, which is the best part. She can be who she really wants, not Trinity who is the perfect socialite. This drives Scott nuts, in a good way. They both started an fun sexy relationship where each one pushed their sexual comfort zone. Along the way mistakes were made, Scott kept pushing for real info from Trinity.

Trinity also asked her father for a job and she was for the first time in her life, at 30, working. She ran into issues right away as everyone knows her as daddy's little girl.

I loved seeing Trinity work through her issues both with Scott and her job. Trinity and Scott had an explosive chemistry and their naughty encounters had smoke rising off the page.

I liked a lot of the components of this book, so I’m not sure why it didn’t quite hit the spot for me.

The core erotic romance between Trinity and Scott was well-crafted, even if it started with the classically unrealistic “hey I’m in the hotel room next door and can hear you enjoying yourself. Can I watch?” A lot of it was tied up in Trinity learning to love herself (not just in the physical sense!), which gave her character more depth (she seemed a bit shallow in the first book).

The vibe was a bit soapy (which I often like), complete with several antagonists/nemeses, but it didn’t go OTT soapy. Maybe I wanted something more amped up?

Could be I just wasn’t in the right mood to read this.

DNF @30%
Maybe its just me, but even in my erotica I need it be more grounded in reality. I got to page 100 and quit because I didn't like the heroine, nor did I find any of their encounters believable or sexy. I know many people truly loved this book, but for me its a solid DNF read. (Did Not Finish).

This is a VERY SEXY book. It's a shame I'm single, because someone definitely would've benefitted from this read ;) It's a very explicit read, but very enjoyable.

O.M.G......Jasmine Haynes' imagination hold NO bounds! What an awesomely inventive romance story! This book is part of a series, but it can also stand alone with no problems. I will admit that I have yet to find a Jasmine Haynes book that did not thoroughly entertain me AND was tastefully smutty, ALWAYS!
Here we have a story of a girl, Trinity, who finds herself at a cross-roads on 'who she is' and decides to throw caution to the wind and get wild with life in order to find out who she is, which will ultimately bring her peace and happiness. Cue Scott .... he didn't even know he was looking for spice in his life till spice came whispering through a wall outlet at him :) Cue the very unconventional relationship that encompasses this story.
I haven't had this much fun reading a book in a long time. I think this story pushed the boundaries of Fiction, but never severed it. This wasn't an unbelievable story, it was just a story you know is not the norm. And that kids is what makes Jasmine Haynes one of my all time favorite authors. Her imagination is off the charts and she is always tasteful and humorous in her stories.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Typical story line of woman coming home early from a party only to find her husband with another woman, in THEIR house. Another rather cliche move is to have her outraged and going to a hotel to get away from him. From there on, the book deviates away from such overdone concepts. I liked how Trinity took back her battered self esteem and grew from this experience. It doesn't hurt that Scott is a sexy guy who is attracted to her. It lessens Trinity's betrayal. Still, it kind of comes across as rebound sex can fix a woman who's been cheated on.

Jasmine Haynes Show and Tell (Fortune Hunter Trilogy, #2) by Jasmine Haynes

Jasmine Haynes writes erotic romance about ordinary, real-life type people who have extraordinary erotic encounters. She balances a great, unique story with equally great and unique erotic scenes. In this contemporary tale Trinity Green (sweet name) has a problem with perfection and it's cramping her style big time. On the other end of the romantic equation is Scott Sinclair, a little older, pretty sure of himself, and yet, the way Jasmine writes him, very real. See the fun? Two actual human are about to go on a wild ride. It could happen to any of us! Right smack in the middle, you will not be able to put this book down. It's reassuring and therapeutic to watch how complicated issues can be worked out and worked through. Very satisfying and a book you'll always want to keep in your collection.

I kept reading this hoping the MFC would pull her head out of it. I understand that she was trying to find herself and jumped to a lot of conclusions along the way. I can be empathetic, up to a point. I just wish it had happened earlier or the Main Characters were able to develop a closer relationship while she was "finding her way".

Honestly, this book was just sexual encounters and then it was, all of a sudden, serious/meaningful. You didn't grow attached to the characters and more often than not, the FMC was annoying/whining and the guy.... I just felt bad for.

Just another story where it was a great premise, but the execution was drawn out and all over the place. Which is a shame. I think this writer isn't bad, it just needed some tweaks and tightening.

I give this book three stars because it was quite slow. Yes, there was great romance throughout the whole book, but I found myself skipping pages early on in the book. Some pages and story pieces felt drawn out or unnecessary. I might feel that way because I find business jargon to be boring haha. However, the end of the book (maybe like the last 100 pages) was really good. I didn’t skip any pages, and I was engaged until the end. This book had a great overall message, and I thought the ending was super cute. It just took me some time to get engaged in the story.

Trinity Green is married to Harper, a man who doesn’t like his lovely wife to mess up her clothes or make passionate love to her in bed. But things are about to change when Trinity arrives home early to find her lovely husband in the shower with another woman. Trinity is totally in shock and she decides to go to a hotel for the night to think things over and to get away from her cheating husband.

Scott Sinclair is exhausted from his flight and the only thing he wants to do is find a hotel room and sleep. But as he prepares himself to relax and get some sleep, he hears erotic noises coming from the room next door. When he realizes the mystery woman is alone, he is unable to resist himself and find himself knocking on her door.

Trinity is in total shock when she find a gorgeous stranger in front of her hotel room door, asking her if he could just watch when she pleasuring herself. Unable to resist the strangers request she let him in; because she knows she will never ever see him again. But when the night is over and she finds his business card on the table, she realizes that their professional lives will cross soon….very soon.

Show and tell by Jasmine Hunter is a fabulous novel with a lot of steamy erotic scenes, humour and eventually true love. Main characters Trinity and Scott meet each other under strange circumstances.

Trinity Green finds her husband with another woman and wonders if she still wants him or should she divorce the bastard. She wants a meaning in her life and accepts a job in her fathers company, trying to get her life back. But it is not easy to work for you father, her co-workers are having a hard time to accept her for who she really is, not just the daughter of the boss. And her little escapade with Scott Sinclair doesn’t help either, why does she keep calling him, when she should get her live back together.

Scott Sinclair isn’t looking for a girlfriend, he is recently divorced and the only thing he wants is work and be there for his children. But when he meets Trinity he knows she is the right woman for him. But Trinity doesn’t want another man in her life, but Scott convince her to give him a change and his seduction has begun.

I loved it; Miss Jasmine Haynes really created a realistic storyline, where a lot of women around the world can relate to. It’s hot and steamy and definitely worth to read.

Review
Not as good as book #1 but still an entertaining diversion.

Scott and Trinity's naughty scenes are certainly steamy but lack the emotional connection that made Connor and Faith's story so engaging.

Trinity rubbed me the wrong way in the first book and I never managed to warm up to her in this one. She comes across as self-centered and weak willed allowing everyone to walk all over her - grow a pair already!

Scot is smart, sexy and sensual and Trinity needs a slap upside the head for pushing him away.

Josie's book is next and I look forward to it but on a side note Show and Tell and the next installment Fair Game are completely overpriced. $14.99 for an ebook of 300 pages is excessive. Thankfully I got this one used at BetterWorldBooks and will hopefully get the next there as well.

Not your typical erotica, there was story too. Even though Trinity was hot mess of insanity from the get go, that was exactly what tripped Scott's trigger. Whenever these two got together they spontaneously combusted. They were insatiable and pushed each other further to see what the other would take. I had no idea this story was going to be so wild. Except for Trinity's immaturity and being a self proclaimed daddy's girl at thirty years old, there were about five times I really just wanted to shake her violently. Scott let her walk all over him, even though it wasn't really a hardship for him, he got what he wanted, repeatedly....

I loved the first book in the series but this one just didn't do anything for me. I absolutely hated Trinity and though Scott could have been a sexy guy, I just didn't feel anything for him either. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for this type of book or maybe these characters just sucked. I don't know.

Though I do know that if I read "Will the real Trinity Green stand up." one more time, I was going to scream.

Maybe I wasn't in the right mood but this one seemed a bit too work focussed for me. As an erotic romance, I'd like to read more about the relationship and the *hotness* so I was less interested in her travails at work. I liked the other 2 in the series better.

I read this because I really enjoyed the first in the series but this one was a little of a let down. I just didn't buy the progression of their relationship the way Faith and Connors did in the Fortune Hunter. Average.
