Professor Chikao Fujisawa was one of the leading exponents of the political thought and philosophy of Japan in the early Shōwa (昭和) era encompassing World War II and supporting the imperialistic expansion policy derived from Shinto under the leadership of such politicians as Yōsuke Matsuoka.

This book is about zen and shinto in the Japanese philosophy. Also, a comparison of shino and other religion.
