About the author

I'd love to say that writing has always been in my blood and I owe my strange imagination to a relative I barely knew, but as far as I know, I'm a one of a kind from my family (in more ways than one!!)

So what do I love to write about? Well, whatever takes my fancy to be quite honest. I'm not one to write for the market - I write for myself, what comes from the voices, sorry - muses, in my head, and what I think are unique twists in this repetitive world.

As a result, you can find me scattered across genres from steamy romance to dark fantasy and horror. My only hesitance at the moment is sci-fi but I'm sure I'll tackle it some day!

Conspiracy theories, the supernatural, and the darker side of human nature fascinate me. I adore mythology and ancient history too, and also (only when I'm feeling intellectual) tend to dip my toes into quantum physics to better understand theories of the supposed impossible.

I'm not going to lie, book two has exceeded my expectations. It was raw, dark and honest. The character development was realistic and instead of surrendering to mainstream expectations our characters stayed true to themselves. I love that we weren't given a generic "Ah-Ha! Moment" where everything snapped into place and all the trauma just disappeared. I can't wait to see what's in store for our old and NEW characters. The story was paced, but not rushed in the slightest. I was completely hooked, and the ending?! Well played.. Miss Laurence! I'll definitely be back for Book 3!

It was such a fun read! I read both books in 2 days. They sucked me in literally, and I couldn't stop, wanting to know what was going to happen next.
It's going to be torture waiting on the next installment of Kyla, Azazal, and Dylan.
Highly recommend if you enjoy supernatural with some spicy twists. Keeps up a great pace without being overly built up. A supernatural light read, that has you cheering for the good guys and the bad lol.

I loved this book! This is the second book in this series by Laurence and continues the story of Kyla as she has to navigate this new world she has become a part of by unlocking her witch powers. She is also dealing with her feeling for both Dylan ( the werewolf who has loved her for years) and Azazel(her newly found Demi-soul). You also follow her two half sisters, who she traded to Lucifer for her own soul, and their quest for revenge. I may just love this book more than the first one. You really get more from each character and even get to dive into new characters. I almost found myself loving and hating each character at different moments throughout the story. The humor is there again along with the heavy content. And the story isn’t over yet!

This is a fantastic story and I enjoyed it immensely but sorry guys no spoilers so read C.J. Laurence’s blurb and that will give you the gist to this story. After reading this story and book 1 Unleashing Demons I can’t wait to read more, it has a great storyline and a cast of characters I couldn’t put it down until the last page it had me hooked. A fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

A deliciously dark paranormal romance continuing the Shadowed Souls Saga series. Following Kyla’s emotional discovery of her life as a witch and her love interests. The second installment is even better than the first! Character and world development were amazing as well as all the twists in the plot. Emotional and humorous at times kept me glued to the pages. Highly recommend this series.

Omg spoilers ahead

I love this series guys!!! Not her “little sisters”coming back for revenge and in such a major way!!! However when I started this out I didn’t know it would lead to a possible why choose which I’m not the biggest fan of! I will say I love Dylan and I want him to have a happily ever after, but I just think Kyla is meant to be with Azazel!!! Ugh guys I’m so happy that the 3rd book is going to take us into Kyla and Azazel’s story!

This book was oddly fun. I really like Kyla and Azazel. I know I shouldn’t but I do. They’re hot. I also love Dylan. He’s sweet and selfless. I also like Lina and Arana. Even though they’re killers. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

It most definitely is an interesting book and it’s most definitely is exactly what the name says. It is vampire and vendettas or should I say vampires with vendetta .certainly like to take care of the vermin .its really good book if you’re in the mood.
