I read the first book in this series last year and intended to continue but hadn't gotten the chance. (Original review for The Devil's in the Deadlines below.) So I was very happy to discover not only a bundle of the whole series-

The Devil's in the Deadlines
Burning the Midnight Oil
Dealing with the Devil
Infernal Affairs
Possessed by the Boss

but it's an audiobook as well.

Myles Catania is a new-to-me narrator and I think he did a great job voicing Lionel and Finneth. I was especially impressed by how different the characters' voices are. If I didn't know beforehand it was one narrator, I would have assumed it was two.

'This isn’t some desperate attempt to win my boss’s approval. This is a fight for my life. For the first time ever, I feel close to some kind of truth about what I actually want.'

I really enjoyed this book. Good world building despite being very short. I loved both Lionel and Finneth. I liked the way it is paced with time passing. When they finally come together their chemistry is hot. I will definitely be continuing the next four books. Though as short as this is, they could all be combined into one. lol 5 stars

3.5 - This is a series of short stories following a human MC and demon MC that have been integrated by the author. I think this worked well. I was intrigued by the premise and liked hearing about how Lionel encountered Finneth at a bar then realized later that Finneth was his boss....then smutty shenanigans ensue as the formerly straight Lionel becomes Finnet's mate (with MPREG in the 3rd section). This was super steamy and fun reading. There were a number of word choices that are so not-hot to me and so I kept getting taken out of the story, but enjoyed overall. I listened to the audiobook and that performance was pretty good (4). I especially enjoyed when the narrator voiced Lionel. His demonic voice was maybe...too demonic and I would have preferred more...suave business silver fox when that MC was in human form & maybe use the other voice for the demonic form.

I absolutely loved everything about this book. The restraint both men had was strong to start, but quickly became impossible beings they are mates and a physical drawn to each other. Then the whole issue of raising their child in hell had some real push back. In the end I am really happy that they were able to move to hell, raise their child and be the evil overlord all at the same time. I definitely recommend this book to everyone who loves mm demon mpreg stories.
