This book of 365 devotionals compares and contrasts movie plots and themes with Bible stories and biblical truth. The devotions are grouped by weekly "Film Fests" according to genre-romantic comedies, action pictures, fantasy films, classic comedy, foreign films, modern comedy, war films, etc. These "Film Fests" are seasonal and holiday appropriate. Love stories fall on the week of Valentines Day. War stories fall on the week of Memorial Day, and Christmas stories just prior to Christmas. Each devotional the movie title, the year of release, and any Academy Awards it may have won, the American Film Institute Top 100 ranking (when applicable), the MPAA rating, and a discussion concerning how the movie or scenes relate to the Christian life.
