'I’m a sly motherfucker who tricks defenseless people and then I steal from them. I am a terrible person, a terrible fucking man.'

'But I like this one girl. I like her a lot. And I don’t want her to know anything about me. My truth is my shame.’

It's hard to face my wrongs in front of a woman who I never, ever want to disappoint. You will most probably have already guessed that this story is all about Rose, the youngest of the three Fowler sisters. I instantly liked Rose and I also felt kinda sorry for her. As the baby sister, she had lived her life constantly in the shadows of Violet and Lilly, her two older sisters, struggling to find her own identity. Rose was itching to do something for herself rather than what was expected of her from her family and she was on the verge of rebelling against everything that had been forced into her life. So when she meets Caden Kingsley her plan of putting herself first sprung into action.
It's been a long time since I've been with a woman. Longer still since I felt so attracted to one. And I am definitely, without a fucking doubt, attracted to Rose Fowler.
Falling for a woman like Rose would be a huge mistake. I could put everything at risk.Caden Kingsley was extremely sexy but he was also a secretive rogue who I did not trust one bit. He hid so many things from Rose and I was certain that their relationship was going to end in heartbreak. I just did not like this scoundrel at all and I couldn't see how the couple could have a future together. However something happened in the story that totally changed my way of thinking towards Caden. I can't say what that turning point was without spoiling the story so I will leave you to find out for yourself. When I reached the particular scene in the book, my heart broke for Caden and for Rose too. I was given a whole new side to this man and I began to realise how deep his feelings were for Rose. As the story continued I understood the reasons behind his bad boy ways. Caden had finally won a place in my heart!
All I want is her. Naked. Beneath me in bed, legs wrapped around me, our bodies locked together.
"I want to be real with Rose. And if that means sometimes it gets ugly, and sometimes I'm scared, mad, sad, or whatever-the-hell emotion I'm struggling with, I still want to do it. So I've got to fight for it. Own it. Own me. Own her. Own us."

There are books for every mood. Sometimes you want something sad and full of emotion, other times you want something action packed or maybe a storyline full of angst. And when you’re in the mood for hot and erotic you can pick up Stealing Rose.
In the first Fowler Sisters book, Owning Violet, the storyline focused on Violet and the Fleur Cosmetics. We watched, as her father was steamrolled by Pilar while at the same time Violet fell for Pilar’s accomplice, Ryder. In this book the story is less about anything going on in the company and more about the relationship between Rose and Caden. Rose is supposed to be mad at her father and wants to quit the company, but we’re never given a solid answer as to why she’s so unhappy. There’s so much emphasis put on the romance that there wasn’t a lot of room left for anything else. But when you’re in the mood for a book that focuses on the sensual attraction between two people that’s okay.
“What’s happening between us. It’s called passion” His smile fades and he leans across the table, his voice lowering. “You get mad at me and then you want to kiss me and then you’re yelling g at me and then . . . we’re fucking. Passion.”
I know Caden is supposed to come off as a bad boy con artist, but I mostly just thought he was cute. He’s supposed to be pulling a fast one on Rose but he’s overwhelmed, even a bit self-effacing. She flusters him and makes him want to be better. Rose changes around him too. Instead of being the meek sister who gets walked all over she feels sexy and maybe even a little powerful. They bring out the best in each other and even though their relationship is a lot of sex, it was also very sweet.
You don’t walk out on love. You stay and fight for it. You prove to the woman that means more to you than anyone or anything else that you will do whatever it takes to make her happy.
I was really surprised at Violet’s character in this novel. Hello, Judgy McJudgerson. Beginning with practically calling her sister a skank for wearing a revealing dress, to telling Rose she should stop seeing Caden because he’s a bad boy (Um, did she not just fall for the bad boy in the last book?). Violet really made me dislike her. I hated the way she came off in this book as I really enjoyed her and Ryder’s story. I also wished someone smacked some sense into their father. He treats Rose, and her sisters, like shit and is oblivious he’s getting played by Pilar. I don’t think I’m going to care too much if his bad decisions destroy him by the end of The Fowler Sisters series.
Stealing Rose didn’t progress the Fleur Cosmetics storyline much, if any, but I didn’t mind. The book was about a bad boy falling for a good girl with lots of sex in between. Sometimes you just want to read something sexy and erotic, and that’s when you reach for Stealing Rose.
