I mean kinda considerate if you ask me..…
I’ve always wanted to be stalked and kidnap but in a respectful manner & Rafe told everything as it was so I mean honest king???🤴 We love that , I loved it, and you will love it too ….just trust me

First, oh my goodness, but Rafe? I have a weakness for morally gray men, but yikes. I'm beginning to think I have a problem.
Rafe is a made man who becomes intrigued when he sees Grace, his enemy's daughter. Grace doesn't want anything to do with her family's business (also Mafia), so she wants to become independent and be a lawyer.
Rafe becomes obsessed with Grace, his enemy's daughter, so he takes her.
Although, she's resistant to him, he eventually breaks her down and gets her to submit. And look out fireworks!
The chemistry between these characters is fire! The story is fantastic and kept me on the edge of my seat until the very end!

Rafe and Grace? Straight-up mafia power couple goals. She’s not taking orders from anyone, and he shows love in the most intense, protective (and okay, kinda unhinged) ways. Book 3 in the Conti Dynasty series had me hooked — steamy, fierce, and full of “we run this” energy.

That was too long and too flat for my liking. I love mafia romance and this book has many tropes in mafia romance I like, however, the story and the plots were not delivered well enough.
I didn't see Rafe as obsessed with Grace. Maybe because I didn't get enough of Rafe's POV. We got a load of Grace's POV but for me they were repetitive.
Nothing was going on until right to the end of the book and even then, it was underwhelming.
I also felt like the world-building was not good enough. I didn't invest in The Contis even though this series was about them.

Okay y’all… I dove into this book without reading a single other book in the series, and guess what? Not only did it make total sense, but now I’m running back to binge the rest. Elle Kay? You have my attention. 👏
This book delivered peak mafia chaos, sizzling tension, and that perfect balance of dominance and surrender. Rafe? Full-on obsessed alpha energy. Like, we’re talking stalker vibes turned kidnapping-for-plot-twists level, and somehow… I was 👏 here 👏 for 👏 it. The man exudes power, control, and danger—and yet, when it comes to Grace, he’s patient (ish), persistent, and lets her come to him… kind of. 😏
Grace, on the other hand, is NOT your typical helpless FMC. She’s sharp, focused on law school, and so done with her family’s shady past. But when Rafe pulls her into his orbit? It’s a battle of wills, submission, and very spicy mind games. And she? Lowkey loves it. 👀
The slow burn? Delicious. The tension? Off the charts. And the emotional stakes? Way more intense than I expected. This isn’t your ultra-dark, traumatize-you-for-days mafia read—but it still packs betrayal, obsession, and a high-stakes romance you can’t look away from. Plus, that ending? Total HEA payoff.

This mafia romance had the most compelling seduction routine I have ever read. Rafe is controlled, almost emotionless, never makes an impulsive move. So when he sees Grace's picture in surveillance info about her family he is struck by how much she fascinates him. He ends up following her around, stalking her and learning all he can about her. Until the day he kidnaps her. Grace is attending Harvard Law School, and trying hard to separate herself from her criminal family without leaving them entirely. But she is only close to the youngest brother, Connor.
Rafe's attention to Grace consists of treating her very well, never getting angry with her outbursts, or destruction of items in the room she is in. He just keeps telling her they are meant to be together with occasional "attacks" on her sexual awareness of him. It is one of the hottest things I have ever read and is a drawn out attack on her control.
After she is let to overhear a conversation between Rafe's older brother, himself and Grace's father in which he dismisses her kidnapping in favor of acquiring more territory and forgiveness for transgressions against the Conti (Rafe's) family, she is crushed. And this opens her up more to Rafe's kindness and sexual moves.
What happens after her father kidnaps her back again to use her as a pawn in an arranged marriage...well, pick up the book and read the exciting ending. You won't regret it. I know I didn't. This series is all well worth reading and I can't wait for the next two books.

If this isn't a dedication that pulls you in I don't know what will.
Due to this dedication I of course had to go back and read Made for Saints and Made for sinner, which book kept me hooked and I was so grateful that Made in Vengeance was available to then read.
I absolutely love a mafia trope and especially a series that focuses on morally grey brothers.
Rafe is all you want in a grey man, demanding, decisive and takes what he wants, when he wants. Which in this case is his nemesis's
daughter Grace. Grace is not a part of her family's business (a rival mafia group) and is studying to become a lawyer- that is until Rafe takes an interest and subsequently kidnaps her.
What follows is a battle of wills and the heart as Grace tries not to fall for her captor and believes it is Stockholm syndrome. The authors portrayal of Rafe, really makes you think and question his mental state for most of the book.
The yearning and spice between the two main characters made this book at points to hot to handle.
I really enjoyed the challenge this book gave me in my perception of Stockholm syndrome and whether I thought Rafe and Grace should be together.
I am really looking forward to the next in the series Made for Power (oooh I got shivers!)

Tis is why I love Dark Romances with morally -grey-obsessed men. The captor-captive theme is not new but the way she pulled this troupe is absolute best. I am obsessed.
What drew me in the most was the MMC—morally grey, sure, but unwaveringly committed once he discovered his person. There’s a raw, nearly primal loyalty in these types of characters that feels more profound than what we typically encounter in standard romances. It’s not merely love; it’s about obsession, safeguarding, and an intense desire to possess and treasure. In this narrative, that devotion was not just superficial—it was imbued with vulnerability, possessiveness, and an unexpectedly gentle side that emerged as their relationship developed.
The emotional journey between the two main characters was marvelously paced. The chemistry between them was lit. Though she has her boundaries set and walls built up even she can't ignore the connection or the raw need she has for him. The brief moments of tenderness, and a deepening comprehension that went beyond their roles as captor and captive. That slow-burn intensity made every glance, every touch, every utterance between them feel like a revelation.
I have to appreciate the author for showing that love could flourish—not despite the darkness, but within it. That, in my view, is the enchantment of dark romance: it illustrates that even the most fractured souls can discover something pure and unwavering in one another.

Everything changes once Rafe sees a picture of Grace during a meeting discussing her family and he becomes obsessed. When he and Grace meet during a night out, there is an instant connection where he tells her that he truly sees her.
The tension and slow burn between the two characters was almost painful for me as Rafe decided that Grace was going to be his. As intriguing as the chapters with Grace trapped at the Conti house was, I felt myself getting annoyed with how some parts felt repetitive and long-winded. Things picked up once Grace and Rafe got to know each other, each becoming vulnerable and sharing their hurt and trauma.
I squealed and panted when reading the spicy scenes (and they were long and descriptive, mmkay!). I swooned over certain moments or things that Rafe said to Grace. And the ending was unexpected but satisfying. I only wish that some of the book was shorter so there was a little more build up for the ending.

Okay, okay Elle….you have me sold. This was my first book that I’ve read and I’ve already had to go back and start binge reading the others. It could totally be read as a standalone in her universe as well but now I’m invested!
This was soooo good!! Not over-the-top dark but the perfect amount! The tension, chaos and Rafe’s domineering alpha tendencies…shew! Not to mention his obsession with Grace…who by the way, couldn’t care less about getting away from her family’s past and focusing on law school.
But hey…who wouldn’t want to get kidnapped and made to submit to a total 10 who’s just trying to show you the truth. We’re all secretly wishing righttttt 😂 but really…we’re here for it. Can’t wait for the rest of the series!!!

All in for the spice, slow-burn emotional shifts, and dangerous love.
When a relentless mafia boss takes the daughter of a rival and ends up really falling for her - everything about his cold, calculated demeanor starts to shift. His methods of protection, safety, and claiming her as his own are far from conventional, but hey, that's what we're here for.
There were a few repetitive parts that got a little distracting, but the chemistry, emotional push and pull, and the overall plot made up for it. I love how their dynamics, the conversations sound intelligent, and how everything tied up together for a content ending. Definitely another good read.

My first read by this author and WOW, what an introduction! The characters, Rafe and Grace, were multi-dimentional and displayed a depth and diversity of emotions. Amidst the struggle for power and control, the attraction between them throbs like a living entity. A man obsessed, Rafe tries to bring order to his internal world via control while Grace struggles to see herself as more than a pawn in the power games of powerful men. This story is dangerously addicting, violent at times, simmering with sensuality, unapologetically dark, and yet, at its core, it's a love story. I can't wait to read the rest if this series!

I knew Rafe was going to be intense, but oh my word!
This man loves and protects in the most insane and unhinged ways but is respectful at the same time!
A total contradiction and a very addictive one!
He is self made, he excudes power and influence and goes after what he wants.
Grace is no pushover. She is fiesty, confident, and doesn't care for the family business. Headstrong and laser focused on getting her law degree.
They're the Mafia power couple.
When the truth is not what it seems and Grace finds out what her family is willing to do, everything changes.
Stalking and kidnapping with a plot twist that's unexpected. The ending will not disappoint.

This is my first read by Elle Kay and what a way to start! This book focuses on Rafe and Grace's story. Their journey from beginning to end is full of intense emotions, very steamy moments 🔥, and betrayals. You’re kept guessing the whole way through as to whether Grace will stay with him and I wasn’t disappointed.
The chemistry between Grace and Rafe is 🥵 and the fact that he’s soft only for her….🔥.
This book is a must if you love dark romance with intense steamy moments and exceptional character growth.
This is definitely the first of many books from Elle I will be reading.

Ok… I jumped into this book without reading the other books in this series… not only was I able to read this book as if it was a standalone but am excited to go back and read the other books. Elle Kay does not disappoint with this ARC!!
The power dynamic, and at times, the struggle between Rafe and Grace that keeps their world functioning. I loved how he encouraged her to willing surrender. To be willing give her submission to him.
Rafe showed her truth, passion, patience, and even darkness. In exchange, Grace ignited a fire in them both. This book was spicy in every way.
This mafia dark romance made me add more of Elle Kay’s books to my TBR lists.

The Dark Dynasties series is 110% one of my favorite mafia collections and let me tell you, when I found out Rafe was getting his own story, I went FERAL.
THIS WAS PERFECTION. Everything I expected out of Rafe and more. Just SWOON. Rafe could destroy me and I'd thank him while I slipped away into nothing.
The depth of these characters never ceases to astound me. The raw raw emotion, the palpable pain and tension, the dynamic shifts and growth from conception to epilogue; magnificent.
Elle Kay knows just what I like, and how I LOVE IT. Knowing there's more coming in this collection? I'm beside myself.

This book is filled with enough spice, it will have your face a little red while reading it! This is an ongoing series, but this can be read by itself or not in order. I am planning on reading the first books that were written.
The power struggle and banter between Rafe and Grace kept me reading because I wanted to know their reactions to situations. The whole time you want to know if Grace will stay or go and the ending didn't disappoint!
There is family drama, betrayal, kidnapping, forced proximity, Mafia dark romance ... and it's written in both grace and rafe point of view!!!!

Grace, the daughter of Patrick O'Sullivan, isn't interested in the family business. She decides to go off to law school and live her own life, but everything changes when Rafe Conte, from a rival family, kidnaps her.
Seeing Grace trying to keep her independence and strength despite being forced in a situation which is designed to strip her of both, make this a really good read.

I need a Rafe in my life. He can stalk me, kidnap me, and convince me to surrender to him.
But what Rafe offered Grace were things she had never known - Truth, passion, patience with darkness and vengeance.
This may be the 3rd book in the Dark Dynasties series, but it is also an amazing standalone book.

this was by far my favourite from these three books. Grace and Rafe. The spice, the push and pull, just perfect.
I'd loved his obsession for her, but also his need to care for her, especially after she found out how her father things about his own daughters position in the family. Rafe was there for her, because he new this breaks her heart.
Grace was sweet, strong and passionate at the same time and i giggled when she finally let Rafe in her heart

This book was just an amazing mafia book, I loved Rafe the most because he was dominant, sexy, and possessive but had a soft spot for Grace, their chemistry was intense, I loved Grace from the very beginning...this book made me cry, giggle, there were chapters that made me feel soo hot, if you are looking for a perfect enemies to lovers with plot full of spice, family toxicity with some twists and turns and hot men involved...then this book is calling your name!

Made for Vengeance is a gripping, fast-paced read that blends action, redemption, and possesion in a compelling way. Both main character’s struggles with past trauma and the desire for justice makes for an emotionally engaging journey, and I appreciated how the author didn’t shy away from tough topics (family trauma etc)
The story kept me hooked, and Elle Kay has a talent for creating tension without losing sight of the characters' emotional arcs

Made For Vengeance is my first read by this author and quite an introduction to her work. It's Rafe and Grace's very steamy, dramatic, intense journey that keeps you on the edge of your seat, eyes glued to the pages from beginning to end. The chemistry between them and the dynamics and interaction between them intriguing and definitely HOT! These characters and their storyline is fantastic!

Grace's story is crazy and sad, but has a beautiful ending! She goes through it! Safe means well but goes about things in an intense way. He fought for her and made sure she was taken care of when no one else ever has. The ending! I was hoping for that but wasn't sure if we'd get such an amazing one!
