Fantástico final para una emocionante trilogia. Quizá sufre un exceso de epicidad, pero es literatura fantástica que se lee con avidez. Un gran descubrimiento
This is the final book of a trilogy that takes place in the Dragonlance setting. The first two books must be read to understand what is going on here. In this one, Linsha is being taken to Lanther's homeland and being forced to marry him. She is agreeing to this in hopes of rescuing the kidnapped dragon eggs that Lanther now has.
This was a nice conclusion to the trilogy and the whole trilogy is very enjoyable. The first half of the story dealing with Lanther's homeland was a little slow as it dealt with their customs and describing their homeland. Also, the subtraction of characters from previous books did not help the pace. But when these characters were back in action and the plotline came to its finale, this book took off and I could not read fast enough. This book had a little bit of everything with love, action and loyalty. Linsha is a great character and the events that happen to her will tug on your emotions.
If you are a fan of fantasy and esp. Dragonlance, read this trilogy.
this is the best trilogy in the whole of dragonlance series, I just loved linsha even though at times she was such a dupe and fell for all the traps set for her!! The second book was breath taking and not in a good way but cause everyone seemed to be dying off and this final book was exciting right through to the end! loved the way linsha communicated with dragons and hated lanther with a vengeance. He must have been one of the most fearful ad hateful character in all the books!! the brutes where so cruel and used torture combined with magic and this made them worse than any ogre or minotaur, at least to me. The dragons are all so awesome in this book and of course linsha's great friend the owl who always manages to save the day, such a little heroine!! will miss linsha now trilogy is finished!!
Although one would think, things couldn't get any worse for Linsha, they did. In the beginning of the book she finds herself on a boat heading to hostile territory where she is to be wedded to a man, she once counted as a friend and now despises since he revealed his true identity and nature. Linsha must face even worse situations than ever before to keep her promise to the dead golden dragon and being able to return to the man, that holds her heart. Excellent conclusion to the series. Loved it!
Really liked the end to this series. Loved the characters, and how they developed (Linsha turned out to be one of the best strong female characters I've read in a while). The ending was great too, and while the result was expected, the way it all played out was not. Nearly all the major loose ends were tied up (except for one giant one that I suspect will eventually lead to a new series?), and overall, this is one of the series I've enjoyed the most in a while. Very well written.
Finished up the Linsha Trilogy today. Definitely the best in this trilogy, although the cover art is just odd. I felt it a return to form for Herbert from the first two which were just depressing. I loved how it tied in directly with the events of the War of Souls too. Also, I want a talking owl and a few baby dragons now.
