I would give this 1.5 stars if it was possible. The story idea was a good one, but the book failed to deliver on the promise.
First of all in this print edition there was serious formatting issues that undermined my ability to read it.
There were no paragraphs and it was difficult to discern which character was speaking at times. There was also a large amount of grammar and spelling mistakes that contributed to the confusion created by the other formatting issues. Another edition was released several months later, I do not know if these issues were cleared up in the later edition.
The story was entertaining when I could follow it, but the characters seemed flat. I did not know much about the main characters, except Sarah was feisty and her brother was protective of her.
I was hoping for so much more with this little story. Based on what I read, I would not recommend this.

I loved this book it had me engrossed from page one! You won't be sorry if you buy this! It's full of mystery and suspense! Best of all is the paranormal factor of mythical creatures! Mythical creatures that we all forgot about since vampires, werewolves etc took over! The beauty of these books is Chris quite clearly has the talent to write a captivating story that demands your attention from the first page! I highly recommend that you read this book!
