Drawdown

Rate this book
Ashton, Wisconsin, is an unassuming hamlet reposing in a quiet backwater of the Midwest. It is relatively unknown to others outside its narrow sphere of influence. It is located in the transition zone between the industrial and agricultural area of the southern part of the Badger state and the forested, recreational region of northern Wisconsin. It is a village of scarcely more than a thousand inhabitants who have managed to get along well with one another for generations. That was true until an event occurred which polarized, then shocked, that once-peaceful community.

I only gave this two stars. Though, I felt the story was worth of a 3, the stilted dialogue frustrated me. Also, the authors felt the need to tie each chapter up with a closing statement. The book didn't seem to flow. Still, I did enjoy the story.
