Amazing for a short read, I read it in a few hours loved it all. It was fun and interesting and kept its pace. I adored all 3 characters, being married for so long Alana never really thought nothing was wrong in her relationship, Doug loved his wife but wanted spice up their life...as a couple they started going to “kinky parties” not to participate but to watch. Doug always hoped that Alana would changer her mind and want to join in the fun. Killian a Dom that goes both ways even though Doug is his partner and best friend, Killigan would love to collar both Doug and Alana.
Besides being to short, Id have loved to see all of them actually together for a pages, other than that I loved it. Its one of few shorts I actually rated 5 stars. Ms King wrote in a way you could feel the apprehension, the need … the lust and passion. Killian literally oozed with the need to possess.. not only Alana but Doug as well. The long time married couple really had no big issue in letting Killian control the scenes. There was some BDSM elements, more control but yes you could tell who the Dom was and who the submissive was. For now this seems to be a stand alone, but I will be watching to see what else Ms. King does. This was a new author to me, but I wont have a problem spreading the word of her talent. Id recommend this book as well.... Enjoy

Stepping out of your comfort zone
This book goes from zero to hot in less than the first page. The author has really outdone herself with this book. The story is short and sweet and perfect for someone not looking for the prestory before getting right to the heat. It may be a little unorthodox, but the author did a fantastic job of bringing these three characters exactly where they were meant to be. I can’t wait for her next book.

Lori King has written another wonderful story! I love this one. A nice glimpse into another side of marriage and desires.
Alana and Doug have been married for awhile and are starting to explore and spice up their marriage, or at least their sex life. The start attending a sex club and watching others have sex. Not ready to do more they come back and watch a few times. That is when Killian enters the picture. He is Doug's business partner and Alana finds him attractive. After Killian makes a move on her at dinner and her husband can tell she would like to include him, they ask him to join in. Alana knows that Doug is also intrigued by being with Killian after talking during a dream and calling out his name. Carefully they begin, but when Killian talks about being a Dom and wanting them both to submit to him, can they?
Well worth the read. Different from Lori King's other books and series (although also ménage), but wonderfully written. I love being able to glimpse into each of the characters heads and see what is going on and their thoughts. Sometimes when authors write this way it can be confusing, but Mrs. King pulls it off beautifully! Cannot wait to see more like this from her!

Holly Hell! Hot. This is an extremely short story so every single page sizzles.
I love the whole fantasy world of the fetish party and the committed monogamous couple tip toeing into the deep end of the pool. Loved this line.
“One of these days he would have to write a thank you letter to the publishers for keeping his cock in working form, for tonight, he had other things to focus on.”
I suspect will be a few owed thank you notes out there for this one as well. There is one thing to fantasize about it, but to follow through is a whole other story. This is that story.
Loved the varied POV. Seeing the situation from all three characters really made the story steamy. The story is so short I really don’t want to give anything away so you can enjoy the whole thing yourself.
What I will say is this. Sometimes you don’t know what you like or need until you try it.
Loved and will most definitely look for more from this author in the future.

I am going to call this book, YUMMO! Because it truly was yummy. A very spicy read.

In Watching Sin by Lori King, Alana and Doug attend fetish parties hosted by Doug's business partner Killian. Alana has finally worked up enough nerve to participate with her husband and Killian. Hmmm...this is a hard one to review because as a novella with the plot focusing on one night, I don't want to reveal too much because it might spoil the story for someone. I will just say the story is hot, hot, hot with a interesting twist for Doug & Killian. Highly recommend.

Loved this. Loved the plot which was totally different from anything else I have read recently. The characters are strong and well rounded. The fact that we have a married couple who are willing to explore their sexual fantasies, and even more so that it is with the husband's best friend and business partner, of whom both have a "crush" on, is truly exciting and HOT! I just finished Watching Sin and this was a hot read. Alana and Doug have been married for 15 years and she is looking to spice up their relationship. They have been going to a club and getting used to watching other couples when she finally decides it time for them. She will only step across that line with Killian, Doug best friend and business partner. You just have to read and see what happens. Trust me it's a quick yet sexy story that will keep you entertained.
