Reclusive Tully Hartlock has only one escape the curse of her famous last name.
Every dollar she earns from Only Omegas is going toward a fresh start across the ocean, to escape being the deeply inadequate heir of the Hartlock name. Tully has lived in the shadow of her ancestor, Esta Hartlock, her whole life and she is tired of being used for it.
But when she falls for one of her subscribers, she finds her life turned inside out, because he belongs to the wealthiest, most powerful pack in the city. Baylark Pack is used to getting what they want, and she is their missing puzzle piece. She opens her guarded heart to the four men despite herself, because they understand her insecurities in a way nobody else can.
Walden, the driven alpha who wants to dote on her.
Ajax, the charismatic socialite, who struggles to accept himself.
Lloyd, whose devotion and patience make her feel alive.
And Pan, the tortured pianist whose inner demons threaten to tear the pack apart.
For the first time, Tully has the support to embrace her true self. But the glitz isn’t as golden as it seems. When her perfect bubble collapses and the past resurfaces with a vengeance, Tully must fight new traumas. While Baylark Pack struggle to prove all they want is to be hers.
With hearts tangled with insecurity and secrets, can they rebuild what shattered? Or is the hurt too much for one omega to endure? Even if they are a Hartlock.

Synopsis: Tully Hartlock had always felt suffocated by her ancestor’s legacy, never more so than in the aftermath of her parents’ deaths. Now, hiding from the alpha that manipulated her in her grief, the only joy she has is her friendship with one of her Only Omgea patrons. She’s saving up to leave the country, but when she becomes unhomed, she finds herself in the path of Walden Baylark, son of her parent’s former friends, and his pack, which just so happens to include the patron she’s been falling for.
Thoughts: TLDR; A gritty and sensual omegaverse romance that explores what it means to carry the weight of legacy and expectations, the freedom and strength in support, and what it means to forge your own path.
I am obsessed with how this is all set up! As you may know, the first book in the series, Omega Foudned is one of my favorite omegaverses. This book follows Tully, the distant ancestor of the omega from book one. It’s a story about legacy, expectations, and forging one’s own path—a perfect echo and continuation of the themes from book one. The setting is modern, but there are mild dystopian aspects to the world.
Tully is an incredibly resourceful omega who, despite her many traumas, has a huge heart. Many of her quirks were so endearing, like her propensity for bullet journaling and her passion for telling stories with film. She’s still healing, grieving, and trying to carry the burden of her last name, but she’s a survivor.
The MCs are a wonderful mix of characters. There’s Walden, the workaholic legacy alpha that lives through checklists, his first love, Pan, a dark and troubled pianist, Pan’s brother, Ajax, a warm and caring historian, and their pack beta, Lloyd, who fell in love with Tully through his phone screen. Their pack is desperately dysfunctional, but they are so real.
Tully falls into their pack like the perfect missing piece, but their romance isn’t all sunshine and roses. They will have to work for their HEA, and of course it wouldn’t be a Mae Pierce omegaverse without some delicious groveling. Speaking of delicious, aside from all of the angsty, cozy, and romantic feels, you’ll find a rich dollop of smutty goodness with a glistening k!nk cherry on top. Two words: sit, pup.
I wanted to quickly mention that this book is officially my favorite representation of designation dysphoria. I found the storyline surrounding Pan and his darkness so incredibly moving, and the way his dysphoria is handled and supported was so well done.
Definitely recommend this one to omegaverse readers!!
Omega Forged is a standalone follow up to Omega Founded (one of my favoritessss), and I really really liked how it was done! The FMC in Forged is the descendent of the FMC in Founded, and I loved seeing how that legacy influenced our new main character.
This story is so emotional! There is definitely banter and spice and all that fun stuff, but the heart of this romance is full of angst and struggle and growth. I absolutely loved how intentional all the characters became!
Baylark Pack had me hooked! Each MMC had a very distinct personality and their own struggles to work through. I feel like an MMC with body image issues is a topic that isn’t very explored, and I really appreciated it being included. Some of the kinks explored were not for me, but I do think they were handled very well. Overall I loved this story and these characters.
This book explores a lot of dark topics, so check your content warnings!

Thank you so much to Mae Pierce for sending me a copy for an honest review. 💖
“Omega Forged” by Mae Pierce is a slow-burn omegaverse that is a solid companion to the previous novel, Omega Founded.
The story follows omega Tully, trying to rebuild her life and identity after trauma. She’s a descendant of Esta, and often compares herself to the historical figure throughout the story. At the beginning of the book, I was frustrated with how Tully acted, but by the end of the novel I came to appreciate her for what she went through and how she handled it. To that point, I appreciated how the author gave her space to heal without rushing her arc or sacrificing building a relationship with each man in the pack. While the world-building isn’t overly complex, I found that this gave the characters room to breathe and develop.
One of the most important aspect of a omegaverse are the bonds. To me, the bonds often make or break the story. The bonds formed between the FMC and the MMCs felt distinct, and I liked that each dynamic brought something different to the table. I wouldn’t call this book overly spicy—it leans more into emotional tension—but there were definitely moments that stood out to me and I enjoyed.
If you’re searching for a slow burn, emotionally-driven Omegaverse, and character-centered storytelling, consider starting the Hartlock Omega’s series!
"Always, honey girl. I'm your man." Her soft, warm laugh dripped through my skin and replaced my blood.
If I could hinge open his ribs, I would have stolen that space too, if only to be close to his thundering heart. Which felt like it might belong to me.
"Walden,'" Ajax threw his hands up. "Spreadsheets are not romantic."
"Girl, don't you realize you have these men wrapped around your finger? All you have to do is say jump. They'll get on a trampoline and snatch the moon for you."
Tully has lived in the shadow of her ancestor, Esta Hartlock, her whole life and she is tired of being used for it. ♡ Action, angst, and alphas all in one.
If there's one thing you can trust, it's that if Mae Pierce writes it, imma read it!
This is book 2, in the Hartlock Omega series. Book 1 being Omega Founded. An Omegaverse where Alphas, Betas, and Omegas are called The Designated, and do not shift. But still has the joys of glands, heat, knotting, nesting, marking, everything you know and love.
Let me start by saying that Tully Hartlock packs a punch and I love her! Imagine being knocked down again and again, and still being as resilient and powerful as Tully. But she also chooses to be vulnerable, to be soft, and to let a bunch of loud baboons support her in everything, eventually. And by baboons I mean the Baylark pack.
It had me giggling kicking my feet, smiling, and tearing up, simultaneously. This had the perfect build of plot, several twists, an exceptional amount of grovel (what's an omegaverse without grovel), and an absurd amount of love. I think I developed several cavities during this read tbh.
And the Alphas? Good lord have mercy, I think I want my own pack iykyk.
After Tully loses her parents to an attack by the HLA, she struggles to make her way out of Star Haven – struggling to escape the pressure and burden of being a Hartlock omega. Using Only Omegas to earn her way out, she meets a subscriber who makes her feel more than she should and quickly finds out he’s part of a pack that she’s been avoiding: The Baylark Pack. With more and more trauma being exposed and created, they need to work together (and individually) to figure out their place in this world. Figure out how to be their very best selves.
Honestly, an instant 5 stars. I love how well developed each character was and the way that they are all interconnected in their own little ways. There is a lot of trauma and very traumatic experiences that happen throughout the novel but, I find that it was done very tastefully without one person being discredited when it comes to their trauma (i really hope that makes sense). Even with the trauma, there was real work on working through the traumas instead of just straight up ignoring it in favor of advancing the story.
The Baylark Pack – Wladen, Lloyd, Ajax and Pan – are very three-dimensional and none of them feel like they are just side characters as main characters in this. They each have their own time to shine and I didn’t feel that one character was favored over the others. (favoritism is REAL in why choose) I loved all of the characters equally and I really can’t pick one over the other.
When it comes to Tully, I was a wee bit cautious on how to feel about her as I first started reading. As more about her began to be revealed, I started to really resonate with her and her struggles. I wanted her to be on top of the world and that she deserved every good thing in life. She’s so strong and it made me so happy having her work through the traumatic events that happened in her life. Just the healing and finding her purpose made my heart swell.
I just really loved how this story played out and how the characters came alive almost like a movie to me while I read it. A definite re-read for me.
Mae, I don't know what you put in your stories, but I swear they are that addictive, I can't put them down.
So we have our fmc Tully. She is sweet, caring, and kind but also kind of broken/ lost. She has been dealing with a lot in her life, especially after her parents passed away, and has never really found her footing. She kind of feels like she is living in her ancestors' shadow. Our mmc's are Lloyd, Pan, Ajax, and Walden. Walden is our strong and dominant Alpha. Ajax is our sweet, cinammon roll alpha that has been treated poorly by people who should be uplifting him, not putting him down. Pan is our mischievous alpha who always seems to be getting into trouble and struggles with certain things in life. Lloyd is the sweetest beta. He really balances his pack out, and I think he is my favourite.
The plot was intense, to say the least. Tully is kind of living in hiding due to someone hurting her very badly in the past. After a crazy run-in with Walden (her crush from childhood) and Lloyd, her current crush, she starts to slowly let her guard down and trust these men. I love the relationship that she starts building with each of them until something occurs and everything unravels. Can the men Tully have grown to care for prove that they are worthy of Tully's love? I love Tully so much, and i'm so glad she stood up for what she deserves. The grovelling was so necessary. I think it made the guys wake up and realise that things needed to change in the pack before they brought Tully in.
I love this story so much. Be prepared to cry because I did. There is so much more I could say, but I'm not because I want you to experience this for yourself.
Thank you so much to Mae and your amazing team for the opportunity to read this story. I am extremely grateful 🙏

Tully Hartlock has spent her life buried under the weight of her family name. After losing her parents and surviving an abusive alpha, she’s emotionally wrecked, financially ruined, and desperate for stability. A brief connection through Only Omega offers unexpected comfort, but when she ends up homeless, she’s taken in by Pack Baylark—a group of men tied to her past and her heart. Omega Forged follows Tully as she navigates grief, legacy, and healing while finding herself entangled with a pack just as wounded as she is. Each member—steadfast Lloyd, charming Ajax, damaged Pan, and protective Walden—carries his own baggage, and watching their bonds form felt both raw and honest. What starts as survival slowly becomes a story of trust, growth, and a love worth holding onto.
OMEGA FORGED was such a satisfying read—grounded, emotional, and full of layered character work. Tully’s journey is messy and real, and I loved how she slowly reclaims her voice without the story ever rushing her healing. The romantic tension simmers beautifully, with each relationship offering a different shade of connection. There’s heartache, vulnerability, a touch of kink, and some deeply earned affection—plus that sweet, satisfying grovel that hits just right. It’s a story about trust, identity, and learning to let yourself be loved, and I’m already looking forward to what’s next in the series!
A big thanks to Phoenix Rising Literary and Mae Pierce for providing me with a digital ARC of this book!

Thank you Mae Pierce for an advanced copy of this book!
This is for sure an angsty omegaverse read! There are highs and definite lows, but that’s what happens with character growth!
This is an RH, with an MM couple in the pack: MMFMM. This is an ABO romance, no shifting, and there are humans in this universe too, who don’t have a secondary ABO designations.
Tully has been through a lot in the last 2 years and is trying to find a way to independence out of the spotlight that her name welcomes. Her plans are trashed when her roommate kicks her out and she falls into the arms of the man (and his pack) that she never thought she’d see again.
Tully isn’t the only one going through an all time low, Walden’s entire pack has emotional damage that they’re each navigating and dealing with (not all in great ways). Tully helps them see that they need to put more time and effort into themselves in order to bring their best self to the pack ❤️
There is period of separation between Tully and the pack after they were together, and when they reunite it is under not great circumstances, but they eventually work it out!
There is attempted forced bonding (not any of the MMCs), emergency bonding, anxiety and emotional distress (both remembered and on page), alcohol and drug abuse, body insecurity, and remembered food insecurity.
The spice! We do get spicy pretty quick! It’s pretty front loaded, and after Tullys heat there isn’t very much until later in the book. We get an MM scene, daddy/pup dynamic. We don’t get much of them outside that one scene and not much in the heat scene either. There is DVP as well, and breeding kink (no pregnancy).
I liked it, but I wished I loved it. The "betrayal" payoff was just not there and the only angst was from the FMC's traumatic upbringing and past not really within the RH.
I LOVED Pan (🥵🥵), Lloyd (🥰🤗), and Ajax (🥵🥰)! They were fully, fleshed out and well written characters and they had other traits, traits that didn't solely involve being in love with the FMC.
As I read this book, I started to get a little worried that the betrayal would be something ridiculous....because the MMCs were pretty decent guys, no bullies or cruel MMCs here. Unfortunately, I was proven right. It really frustrated me that after all those pages read and waiting for a juicy betrayal, all I got was a nothing burger.
Basically, she left them in a 3rd act breakup over a lie of omission surrounding the reason they wanted her to attend a gala she was nervous to go to. That's it. Not that they didn't love her, not that they bullied her, not that a MMC cheated, nope. They just didn't tell her that ONE of the reasons they wanted her at this gala was to meet a person that could help his run for mayor. The person they wanted her to meet wasn't some horrible person from her past or anything to shock her either, just some prominent dude. 😮💨 Absolutely a misstep on the MMC's part and something they needed to apologize for but hardly a groundbreaking betrayal.
The spice, THE SPICE......was so damn delectable! My only wishes were that there had been more spicy scenes (sad that Pan didn't get to knot her even once) and I wished there had been some separate scenes instead of always as a group and always Pan, Tully, and Walden simultaneously together.
Omega Forged, the second installment in Mae Pierce's Hartlock Omegas series, is an absolute emotional whirlwind that will grip you from the very first page and refuse to let go until the very last. Mae Pierce masterfully crafts a narrative that had me on a rollercoaster of emotions. I laughed, cried, and nearly launched my tablet across the room in response to the story's twists and turns. Mae's strength lies in her ability to create characters that feel incredibly real and relatable, even within the context of a fantastical omegaverse. Their joys are infectious, leading to genuine moments of laughter that brighten the sometimes heavy themes explored in the book. However, be prepared for the tears because Ms. Pierce doesn't shy away from heartbreak and challenges that will test the resilience of both the characters and the reader. The plot is intricately woven, with unexpected developments that keep you guessing and on the edge of your seat. The urge to throw my tablet is a testament to the high stakes and emotional investment Mae cultivates. It speaks volumes about the intensity of the narrative and the profound connection the reader forms with the characters' journey. If you're looking for a book that will make you feel deeply, "Omega Forged" is an exceptional choice. Mae Pierce has delivered a compelling and unforgettable story that will stay with you long after you've turned the final page. Be prepared for an emotional ride – it's a testament to the power of Mae's storytelling.

📖 MMFMM | Omegaverse | Why Choose/Poly | Fated Mates | Pack Beta | D/s | Brothers | S** Worker | Found Family | Plus-Sized MMC | They Call Him Daddy | Groveling |
🔖Omega Forged by Mae Pierce launches into the story of Tully Hartlock, an unbonded omega and political heiress who wants nothing to do with her cursed last name or the abusive alpha in her rearview. She’s ready to disappear forever when the Baylark Pack crashes into her life: four dangerously devoted men with too much money, too much power, and a pack bond already fraying at the edges. What starts as a last-ditch escape plan turns into a messy, golden, everything-on-the-line love story with legacy, trauma, and four emotionally tangled scent-matches in the mix.
What could have been just another “pack of five” setup turns unexpectedly rich thanks to standout character work and some seriously earned emotional arcs. Mae Pierce gives each character a voice, a past, and a reason to grow—for their Omega and for each other—and somehow makes it all feel human. This was my first Mae Pierce read, but consider me seated at Pan’s piano, ready for an encore.
❤️If Ashley and the A-Listers (Lana Kole) sparked your love of layered characters, Omega Forged takes it to a whole new chapter!
I loved the other book in this series and thought it was well written and unique so I don’t know wtf happened to the writing here. The purple prose is so bad and over the top. The worst line in the book being “Tasted his scent in the back of my throat like a lozenge to the sickness of our love.”
WHAT THE FUCK IS A LOVE SICKNESS LOZENGE.
I pushed through though because I thought maybe it was just the one character’s POV that was so bad, but by the time I got to her heat I had to quit the book. There’s a lot of dom/sub dynamic in here that I felt wasn’t properly handled by the author and it made me a bit uncomfortable, especially a part where Pan thinks something like ‘he knows he doesn’t need to ask for my consent when I’m in this role’ after Walden invites Tully into their dynamic (to also act as a dom) without any discussion. And sure we’re in Pan’s POV at the time so we know he consents BUT I felt that some form of check-in or acknowledgment of consent was warranted here and it wasn’t right that it was swept away like that. I also didn’t think the dynamic was treated well overall, it felt extremely toxic and uncaring.
Anyway this is going to be a DNF at this point because I just am not excited to keep reading it. I’d like to know how the plot unfolds but I just can’t...
This had a really interesting dynamic; its not an instalove omegaverse, but more of a hurt comfort slow burn. It really focuses on the individual relationships within the pack; not only with each other but also within themselves and it was so easy to get invested in each of the characters journeys. One of the major themes is letting go of other people's expectations and I think almost everyone will find a connection to at least one of these characters as it felt really grounded. Pan is definitely the stand out and unlike any other alpha I have read about; he really won me over by the end although Ajax and Lloyd also had their moments. Walden was my favourite though as I love a man who loves a spreadsheet. Tully's development was engaging too; it goes beyond her learning to trust people again and her realising she is capable of going after what she wants. The revenge subplot is great too; you will not be left wanting!
My interpretation of the star system; 3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again 4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series 5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read
Omega Forged is the second book in the Hartlock Omega series by Mae Pierce. You don’t need to read the first book before this one; some events from the first book are mentioned but the details are not necessary to enjoy the story. There is no cliffhanger at the end.
Tully has always felt like she could not live up to her family name. When her parents die, she trusts the wrong person and enters a relationship with someone who is emotionally abusive. After several years, he breaks up with her and Tully doesn’t know where to go from here. She has no support and no money. To help make ends meet, she starts posting on the Only Omegas website. She meets Lloyd via the site and struggles with whether to believe him and his kind words.
Lloyd is part of Pack Baylark which includes: Pan who is a former musician on a self-destructive spiral. Pan’s brother is Ajax who has always been ignored by his family and told to lose weight. Walden is the lead alpha who is in a relationship with Pan. Walden and Tully ran in similar circles when they were younger.
Can Tully trust this pack? Can she help bring the pack back together again? Can Tully become a strong woman and learn to embrace her name?
Ok, so first disclaimer is that I didn’t realize it was a series, so I haven’t read the first one. They’re interconnected standalones, so I didn’t feel like I was missing anything, but wanted to be clear that I haven’t read Omega Founded.
I liked the set up for this story. I felt a bit like I was missing some world building, as there were some strong differences in this OV from most of the ones I read (having Designated and Humans, the countries, etc.). But there may have been more of that in the first book, idk.
I liked the MMCs a lot, and loved how they each came into her life at different times and in different ways. I always love OVs where the omega has a special closeness with the pack beta, and this one definitely delivered on that! Each of the MMCs had their own issues and I felt they were handled very nicely. I LOVE when there is an MMC with self-confidence issues due to their weight/size and the FMC loves them just the way they are. Pan’s situation was different, and I really enjoyed it.
Overall, there were some things I wished were explained a bit more, and some parts where the pacing was a bit off for me, but overall it was a really good read and I finished it all in one day, I was so absorbed in the story. ☺️
Omegaverse Contemporary Why Choose with MM Angst & Grovel 3 Alphas & A Beta MMCs Sweet FMC Scent Match Dom/Sub Dynamics Good girl/boy Billionaire Pack Cam Girl
Omega Forged is book two of the Harlock Omegas series. I recommend reading the books in order for the complete backstory but it can be enjoyed as a standalone.
Tully just wants to live a life of anonymity. She’s tired of her famous last name and all the expectations that come with it. When misfortune finds her, she becomes a cam girl and one of her clients (and his famous pack) change her life. She immediately feels a strong connection but staying with these tempting alphas and beta will thwart all her plans.
Walden, Pan, Ajax and Lloyd are almost instantly smitten with Tully. Everything about her appeals to them. They fall first, and hard. However, being part of the most famous pack comes with challenges and the guys hit a snafu. They grovel for quite a while, and convincingly, to reclaim their lady love.
This book hit all the right notes. Each character stood on their own and worked amazingly in a group dynamic. Tully and the guys will steal your heart.
When you pick up a Mae Pierce book, you know you’re going to get complex, broken characters, each on their own journey. This Omegaverse is no different. Filled with these characters, it settles around two key themes - discovery of self and wanting to be wanted.
There’s a lot of other themes that are going to be potential triggers for readers. These include body dysmorphia and fat shaming, drug use, negative self talk, betrayal, and abusive relationships. I really like how each of these are handled - not in a trite way, but with depth and sensitivity. You’ll also get emotional support noodles, nesting, the weight of parental expectations, an omega who does not just instantly forgive, and bullet journalling (I was *so* excited).
Given that this is an Omegaverse book with packs (aka why choose), there are basically NO doors. There aren’t many spicy scenes, but the length and quality of them make up for it.
While it is the second in the series, you can enjoy this by itself easily. Reading the first book will definitely make your experience richer. I definitely recommend it to any OV fans.
Tully is the first Hartlock omega born in a very long time. The name has a legacy behind it but her parents never wanted her to be different. They kept to a frugal life but when her parents died and all their money went to charities Tully was left to flounder.
Poor Tully has had a rough life. She has been used and discarded but the last person she thought might be her future and when she is then kicked out of her apartment she has to figure out what to do now. She really just wants to escape it all. Except she cones fave to face with the Baylark pack. They are another legacy name and it seems they want this Omega to be theirs.
Tully needs to figure out what she will do next. Can this pack help her see her strength and find her place in the world?
Tully will learn a lot from the Baylark pack but she will teach them just as much. She fits within all their broken pieces and they hope they fit in hers.
This was a beautiful story of overcoming so many things for each of the main characters.
This was quite the wild read by a new-to-me author. As such, I didn’t read the first book to the series but that didn’t impact my reading enjoyment for this book. Tully is a wonderful omega that carries the weight of her family’s legacy. She tells stories through film but the loss of her parents has sent her into a tail spin and that opened the door for an abusive alpha to manipulate her in so many ways. She was supposed to be an heiress but she’s pretty much penniless and homeless when the guys find her. Walden, Llyod, Ajax and Pan were each fascinating males but all with broken bits that threaten to break their pack. Tully coming into their sphere opened the door to healing, connection, caring and spice. However, their journey was fraught with trouble, so expect to be swept up in the angst, drama, danger, betrayal, groveling, k!ink and just so much love. It was a one-sit read for me so I definitely recommend. I’m looking forward to what’s next by this author ❤
I like to start with, ALWAYS check the TW before reading. 📖
This book touches on some very hard topics, and though they are handled respectfully, always take care of your own mental health first. 💖
Our innocent Tully Hartlock must learn to survive in a world without her parents after losing them. To the world, her parents were Hero’s, but to Tully her parents were monsters. Tully was born into the spotlight and her parents did not give her a fighting chance on how to navigate the world.
Throughout the book, Tully has to make tough decisions that affect not only her life but those around her. Tully ends up meeting/reuniting with the Baylark Pack (Walden, Pan, Ajax, and Lloyd), each in a fate like way.
Life with the Baylark Pack is absolutely amazing, at first, but then cracks start to form.
This book does have a 3rd act breakup but does end with a HEA.
I really enjoyed this one. It did lose my attention a bit around 45% but picked back a few chapters later. I do prefer the book before this one in the series of standalones because I love and prefer that setting. This one was more contemporary (although set in a different world). The quality of the writing is the same though!
I didn’t always understand the relationships or why some of them were together and I did feel like it wasn’t expanded on or worked out better in some cases. In the end it also went quite fast from 0 to a 100 and I didn’t feel like we were taken on the journey the fMC went to forgiveness and trust.
But overall it’s a really enjoyable read with depth and not a lot of smut so the focus is more on the relationships besides the smut. I loved that and it felt refreshing compared to most other recent OV releases I’ve read.

Ready to get your heart chewed up and spat back out like bubble gum? Well then you are in the right place. Omega forged is a delicious combo of pain and glitter. MMFMM The men fall first and HARD. There is such a fun mix of personalities in the pack and they all create this lovely little dysfunctional as all hell group. She is the glue that puts them back together.
Omegaverse with a here's my credit card Alpha, a tatted collared Alpha, a teddy bear Alpha, a sunshine Beta and a glittery pink Omega.
I loved the anxiety and chronic illness rep and they way the mc’s work on these things together and how to work around them. There is so much trauma and healing in this book as well as fantastic spice.
One of the MMCs is a recovering addict and I think the author did a great job telling his story and the healing journey surrounding it.
Highly recommend to omegaverse lovers that enjoy a bit of angst!
I can’t wait to see what the future book 3 brings us in this awesome trilogy about the Heartlock omegas.
Omega Forged is emotionally charged, and is a continuation of the Hartlock legacy. If you loved Omega Founded, this sequel doesn’t just expand the world—it deepens it. Tully Hartlock our Omega, is beautifully complex, gritty, guarded, and quietly powerful. Her struggle with the weight of her family name and her journey toward self-acceptance felt incredibly real.
Tully needs to navigate her way through her past trauma and, The Baylark Park, which consists of: Walden, the soft hearted Alpha. Ajax, the charming and charismatic socialite. Lloyd, the swoon-worthy devoted Beta. And Pan, the tortured, miss understood pianist. This isn’t just a spicy omegaverse romance—it’s a story about healing, trust, and the messy, beautiful work of building a life with others. The trauma is real, but so is the love. And yes, there’s groveling. Delicious, well-earned groveling.
This book was both heartbreaking and an absolute pleasure to read! Not only does the story itself reel you in and have you wanting to know where it's going to go, but the individual characters and their development through the story are captivating. Mae was brough 5 vastly different personality types together with Tully and her pack, all with their own traumas to work through, and somehow made this beautiful mess work so well you will be sobbing for each character at some point!
If you love a good Omegaverse, plenty of stupid men having grovel and a strong FMC, this is defiantly the series for you!! Buckle up through as your about to be on one heck of an emotional roller coaster! While you could read Omega Forged as a standalone, I highly recommend reading Omega Founded first as it really does give so much more depth to Tully's story and history.
Omegaverse Found family MMFMM “Good boy” Trauma/healing
* SPOILERS *
This was such a good omegaverse and I’ve never read anything like this before. This was the first book by Mae that I’ve read and it was so interesting to read into this world.
First off, I love how Tully and Lloyd met. It was kind of like how people meet in our world but with a little twist.
I loved how when things hit rock bottom for Tully that this amazing pack was here to save her. God, it was perfect how she was welcomed into their world.
These guys fall fast and hard and the way that they do is just utterly perfect. They do go through their struggles but what relationship doesn’t?
If you want a book that’s going to capture your heart, this is it for you!
I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

Omega Forged follows the Baylark pack & the Hartlock Omega: Walden, Pan, Ajax, Lloyd & Tully. This MMFMM/AAOAB Omegaverse book is an emotional rollercoaster. The alphas & their beta are all struggling with their own personal traumas, & it’s tearing the pack apart. Tully is trying to survive the weight of her family name & the disappointment of her parents about her designation. She has to make some tough choices in order to survive. But when Tully is at her lowest, the Baylark pack come to her rescue. It’s a bumpy ride as they try to put their splintered pack back together. This found family, they fall first, angsty yet comforting book will pull at your heartstrings as it breaks you down & rebuilds you.
I really enjoyed this story overall, but I did feel like I got dropped right into the middle of things a few chapters in and never fully caught up with what was happening. Some backstory or smoother introductions would’ve helped a lot, especially since the world and relationships are clearly rich and complex.
The dynamics between the pack members felt underdeveloped at times, and when the omega comes into the picture, I wanted more depth and build-up in how they all connected emotionally. There were moments of great chemistry, but it didn’t always hit as hard as it could have.
That said, I loved the premise and the characters kept me turning the pages—I just wish I’d gotten a little more time to sink into their world. Looking forward to seeing what this author does next!
Loved the story! It's not necessary to read the first Hartlock Omegas book first, though I did and you do get a bit of background that is nice. I really enjoyed that the men all had very different personalities that all blended well with Tully. Loved seeing Tully come into her own strength and how her men supported and were there for her!

I only wish there had been more spice. Compared to the other Omegaverse I've read, this was pretty mild. Other than one minor scene at the beginning, there was only one long s$x scene in the middle of the book and one short one in the epilogue. 🌶️🌶️🌶️ for kink
