About the author

My name is Ian MacGregger. I was born in Inverness, Scotland during the winter of 1973. My father was a shepherd. My mother worked for the local council. We lived in a small cottage along the A82 on the north bank of Loch Ness. I grew up on the Loch. Got my first boat when I was thirteen. Spent days exploring its coves. And, oh yes, I did see Nessie! But that was much later on after a late evening that involved several pints and more than my share of Scapa Flow whisky. Nice girl. Pretty face. Longish neck. Not much in the leg department.

I am Anna’s confidential assistant. And, before you ask, I don’t know her last name. As far as I can determine, she hasn’t got one. She is a paranormal private detective with an amazing range of skills and abilities. A genius to be sure but a great deal more. With Anna's permission, I chronicle some of our more interesting cases. Praise of Marked For Murder

I loved Toast of Broadway and couldn’t wait for this sequel. I truly wasn’t disappointed and it was worth the wait. I felt that I went back home to Omega finally. The plot was fraught with interesting tidbits and a strong voice in that of Mr. MacGregger. My friends the animals were in true form, and play their roles brilliantly. Seamlessly. Anna is a sweetheart and I still can’t wait to meet her in person. Try it. You won’t be disappointed. Oh, and I hope N. Wayne plays a larger role in the third book!!

I am a big fan of the Omega/Alpha series and Ian MacGregger has hit a home run with the sequel to The Toast of Broadway. Lots of action, paranormal activity, fascinating characters, a complex plot with twists and turns. Highly recommended. A great read. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

I met Ian MacGregger on twitter, where he seemed totally normal. Then I realized that he is actually the right hand man to Anna, a world famous paranormal private detective. Anna lives very well protected in various locations, much of them unknown to the outside world, with animal “soul mates,” and dangerous people all around her. Anna, can I say, is a person who gets things done.

Each has their own unique powers and reasons for being there, above all they take care of each other – after all they’re family.

While at the brownstone in New York Ian has an unexpected visit from a beautiful accounting assistant who ends up brutally murdered after her visit. Ian and Anna take it personally and set out to discover who killed her and why. It’s a non-stop journey of discovery and firepower that will keep you on the edge of your seat to the very end.

A delightful book that I enjoyed very much.
