“There is no love without forgiveness, and there is no forgiveness without love. – Bryant H. McGill
This captivating debut novel is told from the perspective of Quinn, one of the main characters in the story. Quinn finds the love of her life and they luxuriate in each other, both physically and mentally. Theirs is a heated romance with a love that is intense and passionate (and oh yes, we are treated to a good dose of sensuality). We follow them through their courtship and then their marriage. When Quinn eventually loses him to his all-consuming job, she makes a decision that may crush their marriage forever. This is the story of two people who have lost themselves and then find themselves again, the author succeeds in revealing their vulnerabilities that make the characters real and not one dimensional, they are believable and sincere. You genuinely feel for them and will find yourself rooting for Gavin and Quinn’s relationship. I did not rate this book higher as there were a few grammatical errors. I highly recommend this book, and look forward to reading more by Ross.
