Wayne Mack lives in Pretoria, South Africa, where he serves as a pastor-elder with his son-in-law and teaches biblical counseling at Strengthening Ministries Training Institute to pastors and aspiring pastors in the region. He also spends about six weeks in the USA teaching at various churches. He and his wife, Carol, have four adult children and numerous grandchildren.

Very good quick overview of Church Membership that goes in-depth enough to help you understand what being a true Church Member is before you make the leap at your local church, but is short and to the point!

Book is quite simple, but touches a subject that many today take lightly. It goes against the common thought that "we can be good Christians or even better, apart from the local church?" but as Spurgeon addresses, "You can be as good a Christian by disobedience to your Lord's commands as by being obedient?" Those who are struggling with the idea of the importance and necessity of church membership, or even for believers already members of a local church, this book will help you think through church membership and hopefully encourage you or help you encourage others to consider membership.
