At 18, Brooke is convinced she’s an adult and free from her parents’ overbearing grasp. She admits that she’s spent her whole life being careful and is tired of it. So she heads off to college with her best friend and a new motto to live by—you only live once. She’s looking to have fun, take chances, not over think things, and wake up every morning with no regrets for how the day before ended.
Nick Benson is a self proclaimed ladies’ man. They want him just as much as he wants them. But he never sleeps with them more than once, and never brings them back to his room. He has no boundaries and an attitude that screams trouble. He admits that he likes to live life on the edge, exactly what Brooke is looking for. So when they meet by chance early in their freshman year of college, it looks like a match made in heaven.
But things quickly take a turn for the worse when Brooke learns about Nick’s dark side—an obsession with fighting, taking drugs and sleeping around. Will she be able to take what he throws at her, or is she in over her head from the start? Will her best friend be able to shed some light on Brooke’s newly destructive choices, or will their friendship take the biggest hit of all?

Holy slutty college coeds. I was very surprised by this book and did not expect to like it. It was a fun and entertaining read. Although I have to admit you have to have an open mind with this one. There were some things I didn't like for example Nick asking Brooke to start a fight with a stranger because it excited him, really? And Nick saying he would never hurt her but convinces her to do ecstasy because it will enhance their sexual experience. Yeah, not on board with that one. But any way, if you're open to whatever then this would be a good read. Looking forward to the next one to see what happens next.
Not really sure what to think of this book. I think it was a little too extreme for my taste. While I like the idea of just having fun and no regrets and a 'you only live once' mentality this story took it a bit far. Even if I was in love with someone I would never accept behavior I hated. I mean, fighting someone just to see if you can beat him, using drugs, I wouldn't even accept that from the hottest guy on earth. Also the ending was stupid. Choose between your so-called love and your best friend. Apparently Brooke is more shallow then I would have thought. No way am I ever going to read this book again or the sequel.
I don't really know what to say about this book. I didn't mind the sex scenes...but the drugs? eh it just wasn't for me. I never went to college and had all those crazy drunken drugged sex-capades. Nick was the ultimate sexy bad boy but he wanted to have no strings. then he couldn't get enough of her. then he's sharing her with another guy. to drugs with her. then not wanting to do drugs with her. to a two day drug/sex bender with Brooke.
I guess there wasn't anything about this story I could relate to so It was a bit hard for me to get into it. I don't think I will be reading the others..
This was a great start to a New series. Brooklyn is at college, out from under her parents control, and she's making the most of it. Nick is the typical bad boy, she was never allowed to be with anyone like him so while she didn't want a relationship she can get enough of him.
This story has a lot more sex then I had expected from reading the synopsis, that being said, I wish this book was longer.
The title says it all. But Brooke decided that as soon as she went to college she was going to go crazy cause she didn't get to in high school. This book does deal with drugs and some people it might not bother but it does me just because of my background. I won't be finishing this series because I didn't like the emotions I felt when reading the ending of this book. This book was well written though and I love Elizabeth's Backstage Pass series.
OMG! What took me so long to get to this book! I love it as I do with all of Elizabeth Nelson’s books.
I love stories about hot bad boys who get caught up in the good girl. Brooke and Nick have amazing chemistry while she gladly gets pulled into whatever adventure he leads her into. The sex scenes are steamy and so diverse. Can’t wait for what’s next.
Wish this was a little longer. I did not want the story to end so soon. I need to get the next book NOW!
HOLY MOTHER OF HOTNESS! I absolutely loved this book. The chemistry between Nivk and Brooke is over the top. Is the bad boy corrupting the good girl or is the good girl devouring the bad boy. Reguardless, it spells trouble. I don't think Brooke really realizes what she's in for with Nick. Right now she's definitely enjoying the ride but I think Dylan may step up and shock the hell out of her. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
I was entertained while reading this. But the choices the heroine kept making were terrible. She is a train wreck. Sadly lots of girls probably do this exact same thing their first year in college away from the thumb of their parents. But it's also scary the choices she makes. Drugs, random sex and threesomes with strange guys..oh my! I would like to try the to read more to see if she wakes up but I seen this is a novella series. At that price it's not that good.

After living a sheltered life are young woman besides her freshman year college is the perfect time to venture out. However, she decides to sleep with the first jerk she meets and do drugs. Was not a fan of him, or her really. The book ends abruptly leaving you wondering what's next. However I think my opinion of the characters will keep me from reading more.
I really had zero expectations for this book but it was surprisingly good. A lot of things happen that really aren't my thing but they seem to fit the storyline pretty well. Curious to see where the author takes this.
It was ok. A bit much with the reckless behavior and drugs. It was a free read so I felt ok about it overall. I did not feel moved to read the other books yet. We will see if I continue at tome point.
This story and I did like it, so far. It's a lot of back and forth but I'm interested to see what Brooklyn decides to do. She is a good girl gone wild child to "find herself". What a mess lol
a good read. Brooke is going crazy in college after living with her parent's strict rules. Nick entices her to do all sort of things. Not all of it good.
