So much potential

This book is well written. What it lacks is dialogue. As a reader, I always felt like I was on the outside and could not put myself in any of the characters place. I'd love to read this again if reworked to add depth. I think it would one amazing read.

"Samaria" by Jaxx Summers

My Thoughts....

This was a enjoyable read especially if you are into interracial paranormal romance. It will be quite interesting to see how this entertaining story will come out about this vampire Viking [Alarik] and warrior princess [Samaria].Will this Viking be able to save Samaria from her wicked sister [Nzinga] before it's too late? Be ready for one phenomenal amazing ride of good and evil that will definitely keep your attention as you will be kept turning the pages and yes, left wanting more. Now to get the rest of this captivating story the reader will have to get the next part.

Samaria!

Samaria loves her family but doesn't necessarily believe in one of her culture's practices about being a chosen sacrifice to an entity. There are many twists and turns that will have the reader wanting to read more of Samaria and her Vampire Viking!

I am so glad I got this in the kindle free store. It's not a bad idea, but the author tells instead of shows. There is little to no characterization, the world is 2 dimensional, and there were serious issues that were just glossed over. When a young woman loses her rank as princess and is being told that she's to marry a common man it should be a conversation between mother and daughter not a brief paragraph with no feeling or connection. I honestly didn't care about any of the characters because they were not real to me, the story has promise but reads more like a detailed outline than an actual finished work. Sorry, but I was only able to get through it because it was short and I like finishing what I start.

i got this book through a goodreads giveaway. I felt like I only read excerpts from a larger story and the author forgot to include the first few chapters. The story has potential but it currently reads like a rough outline.
