Like me, you’ve probably spent small fortunes on products and services claiming to keep your hair and skin looking their best. What woman hasn’t. The question does any of it really work?
In my career as a professional in the beauty business, I’ve had the rare opportunity to take a good look behind the wizard’s curtain. What I can report is that the smoke and mirror tactics reveal nothing less than a ‘snake-oil’ industry that is founded on the premise that all women are irrevocably flawed.
In this book, I’ll share insider knowledge about how the beauty industry thinks, how it capitalizes on every woman’s insecurities, the secrets the industry doesn’t want you to know, and the poison it’s pitching as a miracle solution.
This book is dedicated to all women, present and future. It’s a clarion call to reclaim your inherent confidence and self-worth, free from the unattainable standards set by the beauty industry that are currently hamstringing women from achieving their full individual potential.
Good concepts with some through research. I did feel like the authors tended to be hypocritical with some of her advice and opinions. I did enjoy the underlying message though.
