Shelly "Saffron" Reagan's life is in shambles, and it's about to get worse. Keeping up a broken home and a brother in the vicious Grizzlies MC is more than any woman can handle. Remembering the tough talking biker who nursed her after a savage attack is all she has, a bad boy who's impossibly out of reach.
Or so it seems.
When Saffron gets caught in biker's crossfire, there's only one man to lead her out. One man to protect her, one man to lay his claim, one man to make her burn forever with his kiss...
Michael "Blaze" Sturm swears he won't get tied down by any woman. Easier said than done when the babe with the body he can't forget keeps storming back into his life. When he answers her desperate call one dark morning, nothing will ever be the same.
As President of the new Prairie Devils Montana charter, Blaze always gets his way. Now, his sights are set on beautiful Saffron, and he won't stop until she's wearing his brand and surrendering her lips.
Will Saffron find outlaw love in his fire - or will Blaze's harsh world turn her heart to ashes?
Note: this is a dark and gritty MC romance with language, violence, and love scenes as hard and raw as they come. Outlaw love strikes without mercy!
The Prairie Devils MC books are stand alone novels featuring unique lovers and happy endings. No cliffhangers allowed! This is Saffron and Blaze's story.
Nicole Snow is a Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author. She found her love of writing by hashing out love scenes on lunch breaks and plotting her great escape from boardrooms. Her work roared onto the indie romance scene in 2014 with her Grizzlies MC series.
Since then Snow aims for the very best in growly, heart-of-gold alpha heroes, unbelievable suspense, and swoon storms aplenty.
Current fan favorites include her Enguard Protectors series, accidental love novels, plus long beloved MC romance thrillers like the Grizzlies and Deadly Pistols.
Really enjoyed Blaze & Saffron story! What's not to love, solid storyline, one hell of a wicked plot with so many twists and turns, it's enough to get anyone's motor running! On full throttle hahahahahha. So why three stars? First as mentioned there's a lot going on, major crises kinda stuff, so you'd expect to see more of the emotional aspects. Don't get me wrong there were some; I just felt those feelings from the monumental events taking place were glossed over. Then there's Saffron's brother and the life and death situation that arose, we the readers were left hanging. I'd like to know how he made out, after all he's the only remaining blood relative Saffron has. That's my only beef with Savage Kind of Love. Is the story any good, hell yeah, would I recommended to other MC lovers....with a resounding hell yeah! Take care friends, happy reading.
Another amazing book by Nicole about this MC. WOW. Blaze is so hot and Saffron is so different from all the women has he dealt with in the past. She is trying to take care of her home bound mother since her older brother took off and the only thing she has left is the strip club. She is beat up pretty bad and Blaze takes care of her. She is thinking she was really knocked silly due to her attraction to Blaze, but he feels it too. He warns her to stay away as it is going to get bad and it is so true. When her brother does come back, it only gets worse in a hurry and she can only trust Blaze to help her. The growing attraction is more than the two can contain, but they try to fight it, but it is really no use. Saffron looses her mother, will she loose the man she loves or her brother or her life over all this? It is a wonderful book and I love these characters. I love Tank and how he is really just the big hard headed idiot, but underneath, he isn't so much. He is really a caring man who is very loyal to everyone around him.
On the whole I'm enjoying this series, the first book 'Outlaw Kind of Love' was ok it was softer than I'd expected and I wasn't too keen on Jack which spoilt the book for me, the second book 'Nomad Kind of Love' I really enjoyed, I loved Maverick and this was a grittier MC book. Now since I gave 'Outlaw' 3 stars and 'Nomad' 4 stars therefore the rating for this book has to be 3.5 stars, since I liked it more than 'Outlaw' but not as much as 'Nomad' This is the grittiest of the three, the story's good and for the most part I liked the characters so why didn't I like it as much as 'Nomad' well, if I'm being honest the start put me off in fact I only continued reading because I'd read the reviews and a couple mentioned that it's a bit jumpy at the beginning but to stick with it, which I did and I was glad I did but I kept waiting for the 'start' to happen and wondering how it all fit in since Saffron didn't really have that much to do with the Prairie Devils at first, I was trying to figure out the timeline. Then even though I liked Saffron and Blaze I just didn't really feel their chemistry at least in the beginning, for me I would have preferred a couple more situations with them together first. You could argue I'm being too picky and maybe I am but what's the point in writing a review if I'm not going to be totally honest, that said this is a good gritty MC book which is well worth a read.
Shelly "Saffron" Reagan knew two things, she never wanted to be a stripper and stay away from bikers. Stripping was a means to an end, with an invalid mother and mounting bills, Shelly gets by doing what she can, after all even if her job is tainted, she is not. When Shelly is attacked, she is taken care of VP biker of the Prairie Devils Montana MC, never thinking she will ever see him again.
Michael "Blaze" Sturm has enough on his plate. He can't stop thinking of the beauty named Saffron, but as new President of the local MC and a few renegade outlaws from another MC he can't get involved in something with an innocent civilian, primarily because he doesn't do relationships. However when Saffron finds herself in trouble again, everything changes. Blaze decides he wants her as his old lady and is determined to have her.
This was very good except there was a few time issues. All the sudden your reading and it is three weeks later which is confusing. Not sure if this is how it came across on the kindle or what was the issue. That being said the overall story was gritty, intense and if you like biker stories worth picking up. Blaze is a straight talker, filthy, and pure male stud. He has a soft side that really is only shown with Saffron. Unexpected surprise.

3stars.
I must have read a different story than everyone else.... It was a good story, but it had the potential to be great. Some things were just missing for me.
First of all, the author needs to correct several transitions paragraphs. I would be reading about what is going on right now, then the next thing I know we are suddenly two weeks down the road. I had to go back in several places and re-read b/c I was soo confused.
Second, while I loved both Blaze & Saffron, their "love" was WAY too fast... He saw her twice, both times were when she was 'in need' of help and BAM! they are in love and she is his old lady. Now, I can absoluetly be on board with the quick love thing, but for some reason this one was just off.
I'm reading out of order here but I still enjoyed the book. It's a pretty standard biker novel in many ways but I can't help but compare it with the other book that I'm about to DNF which is also a biker book. The main difference, I think, is the male lead (Blaze) has qualities which will redeem his violent actions. I have to have that in a romance.
Really a 3.5 read for me. While I liked Blaze and Saffron/Shelly as characters and the story line was good, it seemed like there was a little too much action going on and some threads left hanging.
This is the third book in the " Prairie Devil MC " series from author Nicole Snow . This is one of those book that you can read as a stand alone but it is so very much better if you read the whole series. This was one sizzling hot read.
Warning this book maybe to " Hot to Read".
As soon as I received this book I had to set down right away to read it .I am a huge fan of this series because this series has became on of my reading addictions . As soon as I started reading this book I was hooked and right away I way blown away with the story. This book is full of kinds of emotional roller coaster of emotions that had me on the edge of my seat all the way to the end. I could not go to sleep until I finish reading this book because I ha to know what was going to happen. With this book I never knew what was going to happen next . I fell in love with all most all the characters in this book . The book has smoking hot sexy hell Alpha Biker that will had me need a cold shower and a ice cold drink. This book was full of some sizzling hot sexual chemistry . But this book also pulled on my heart strings at times .

Will Saffron and Blaze get to have their happy ever after .
Their is so very, very much more juicy story that I have not shared because this book is to hot not to read. I cant wait to read more from this author in the future.
I received a copy of this book from the author in place of an honest review.
Shelley "Saffron" Reagan works at a stripper joint. It is all she could do to get enough so she could get her mom her medicines. Her mom really never knew what she did for a living and as long as she got the medicine everything was fine. One night Saffron is working and gets the crap knocked out of her from one of the Grizzlies MC. That night she met a man that would forever be in her memory.
Michael "Blaze" Sturm is the VP of the Prairie Devils. There was just something about the girl that touched something inside him. He never thought he would ever see her again. So when he becomes the President of the Prairie Devils Montana charter, and gets a call in the middle of the night and helps Saffron with her little thing that she did. He knew then that he had to have her. Looks like Blaze has found the woman for him.
All I have to say is that this was one hot book that I couldn't put down until I had read it all. I never thought that a biker story could pull me in. I have to say that I was wrong. I like how the story started some in the future of her romance with Blaze and then it goes into how their relationship all begin.
I will say that this book is a little dark and has killing and abuse, but you have to face the bad to make you see that you are where you are meant to be. I just have to commend the author for writing such a wonderful book. It has some real intense moments and left you wondering when both the characters would give in to the sexual chemistry between them. There were times I wondered what would happen next. I liked how the bikers were family and helped each other out.
Now the sex is really hot and will make you want to be the one that is experiencing it. I could just imagine myself in this story. So I would tell you to go and get this book. I just want to thank the author for giving me a chance to read this awesome story.
I liked how Blaze got his name. I will warn you again that there is some pretty dark places in this book, but it is so worth it.
Saffron was there at the strip clu when the craziness with the Grizzlies went down, and she had the shiner to prove it. Blaze was there to help get her back on her feet that night and now weeks later even when they haven't talked since when she finds herself in trouble he's the first person she calls.
Finding a woman for more than getting his dick wet is the last thing Blaze is looking for, but the knockout from a few weeks back just won't leave his mind. When she calls and he jumps in to help her he knows he has to reevaluate his ideals, because not just anyone can get that kind of reaction out of him. But when things et crazy with the club that should've been gone from the state Blaze has more trouble than he can keep up with, and dealing with a fiesty woman makes life even more interesting.
Saffron is stubborn and she's strong she does what she has to, to survive and help her mother. She doesn't just sit back and let someone else do the dirty work, if she has to she'll get right there into the thick of it. Blaze is a protector, he keeps his club safe in whatever way he has to and when he wants something nothing will stand in his way. He's got his sights set on Saffron and not even her indipendant streak will get in his way of having her.
There's more trouble on the horizon, and for these two it just make their journey all the more fun.
This series just gets better and better with each new couple. Blaze is the prez of the Prairie Devils MC and he has seen his brother taken by a woman and has seen the changes in him for the better. But Blaze doesn't want that. That is until he sees Saffron, a stripper at his club. His body is pulled toward her but his mind is trying to fight it. And it is a loosing battle. Saffron is only a stripper because it is the only way she can make enough money to help her mom who is crippled because of an accident. When he brother returns, he is with a rival MC and he tells Saffron to stay away from the Prairie Devils. But there is more going on then what meets the eye. Her brother doesn't know what is really going on with his MC and Saffron doesn't trust him. When things go from bad to worse, Blaze is there to help her but will he always be there? This story had me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what would happen next. If you like a great MC series then you should read Prairie Devils MC by Nicole Snow and be prepared, it is raw, sexual, steamy and sexy as hell bikers. Another perfect addition for this series and I loved it. Can't wait to see who the next story will be about. **Copy provided by the author in exchange for my honest review.
I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. If you have not read the rest of this series this book can be read as a stand alone but it is better if you have read the others. Now on to the review I do not give many 5 star reviews I have given more this year than in previous years but am still stingy with them. This book would have a higher rating if I could than the 5 stars. In this book we meet Blaze and Saffron both of these characters were in previous books but if you have not read them it does not deter from their story. This story starts out with a bang we find Saffron dealing with something that has just happened to her. Then it jumps to the past and how Saffron met the Prairie Devils more specifically Blaze. This story is like the others in this series it shows what happens threw-out the story from both points of view. You see what Saffron thought when she met the devils and more specifically Blaze. You then see what Blaze thought of that first meeting with Saffron and what he still wants from her. This book rocks and I don't want to give anything away that is why I am not saying to many specifics about the book. This should me a must read for everyone. Pick it up now you will not be sorry.
I fell in love with Blaze when he was so nice to Saffron after she got hit in the face. Saffron is a girl on hard times, trying to make a living and taking care of her disabled mother. I did not like the mother much, but later in the book she was redeemed to a point. Saffron knows that she needs to get a new job from the strip joint. Blaze falls hard for Saffron and wants her, so he decides that he will have her. I cannot understand how strong Saffron is when she is (no spoiler). We see rival MC gangs come after each other in this book, and it gets crazy. I was captivated with this book right from the start that I finished it one setting. It was such a stunning book, I would highly recommend it. I am such a fan of Nicole Snow and I got this a ARC for posting a honest review and I do give out 5 stars quite a bit, but I am so careful with the books I buy, I will research them and read all excerpts avail plus through Amazon you can read the first 2 chapters most of the time, and that gives you a excellent way to see if the book is going to be great. So I was very lucky that this book was in that category of awesome reads. I would have purchased this book had I not got a ARC copy. Enjoy your purchase, you will not regret it.
This was even grittier, more intense and action packed than the last Prarie Devils MC book. This had an amazing story which coinsided with the way the last book ended and yet still left things open with the Grizzlys. Shelly/Saphron was a perfect heroine with guts, fire and quite an attitude. She never faltered even when she knew she was fucked. Blaze, The MC President, well he was just a badass who wasn't taking no for an answer, be it from Shelly or from the renegade Grizzlys.
This was just straight up a raw and intense MC book with a whole lot action, lots of HOT steamy parts and whole hell of a story with some bad ass bikers that you just can't help but love.
I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.and may I say Thank You Nicole for that opportunity. This book is third in the Prairie Devils MC series and is the best one yet.It is dark and gritty and if you like an mc novel that tells more of the rougher side of the mc life then this one is for you. Shelley "Saffron" Reagan is our lady in this book and she is far from being weak and timid. She is strong willed and can nothing break her.She can take what you dish out and serve it back to you. Michael "Blaze" Strum is our alpha hottie of the book and this man lives up to his road name.He will blaze the bloomers off your bootie I am here to tell ya now. He is the prez of the new chapter of the Prairie Devils MC and will take no crap from anyone when it comes to his club and the one woman he cant get off his mind.He never wanted an old lady but that all changed after meeting his Saffron. This book was jumping off from the starting gate. The emotional tugs that were being thrown in as things were being revealed had me cringing at times thinking my god how does this poor woman keep her wits about her.She will win your heart for sure and is by far the toughest old lady I have read about in any mc book, EVER! and Blaze was the perfect combo of cocky badass biker with a heaping dose of protectiveness toward the true love of his life Saffron.and he will right the wrongs done to her no matter the cost and forget about trying to stand in his way while he does it. If you are looking for a all things are smooth to a happily ever after then dont read this. Dont get me wrong you will get your happily ever after but the road taken to get there is a rocky one and at times brutal way.But that just adds to the underlying love story between these two people. I give this book a 5 star read because of the strong willed Saffron and because I love me an alpha hottie who doesnt mistreat his woman and because he doesnt ever lose sight of what matters the most to him.His club and his old lady. I am looking forward to more of this series. Thank you again for the opportunity to read your story. it was fantastic.
SAVAGE KIND OF LOVE just released on Friday, and is the third book in the "Prairie Devil's" series. Since it was the third, and I'm on this weird MC kick right now, I purchased copies of the first two books - OUTLAW KIND OF LOVE & NOMAD KIND OF LOVE. (Yup, my BOOCD - book order OCD - hit again.) I can say that each book can easily be read as standalone, as they are "self contained" and have no cliffhangers, aren't a serial, and aren't we all just loving that?!!!!? I know that I am! You do have some carry-over from book-to-book of characters, but the roles they play make it more of a situation where it offers you a "where they are now" type of scenario. Y'all know my thoughts on series, though - even if they are standalone, why WOULDN'T you want to read ALL the books in the series??
When Maverick & June decide to continue on as Nomads, and the Prairie Devils want to make sure they have a presence in the area, Blaze is voted in as the President. Saffron is no longer dancing but is working two jobs trying to keep a roof over her & her Mom's heads, while her brother has disappeared -- only to show up wearing Grizzly patches. Saffron then has an "incident" (hey, I'm trying to keep the spoilers down here!) and calls on Blaze for help. As a result, the fragile truce that the Devils and the Grizzlies had is put to the test. I have to admit that this series is dark and gritty, but not to the point that it is depressing or pulls you down. There's lots of sex... lots of alcohol... and lots of violence (some against the women, too) -- but throughout it all, the love and solidarity that the Devils have for each other keeps the story from becoming a cesspool of sewage. Granted, I was gifted a copy of this book, but... Would I buy the next one? You betcha! (And I'm hoping it's Tank & Emma - just sayin', in case you're listening, Nicole!) Will I reread this series? Yup! Would I recommend this book/series? Duh! That's what I'm doing right now! ENJOY!!
I really hope there is going to be a least one more book in this series. I really need to know what happens to one of the Prairie Devils and I also want an up date on the three couples thus far. I am so glad I picked up Nicole Snow's Prairie Devils MC Series. She just makes me LOVE MC books even more now.
Shelly "Saffron" Reagan used to dance at Pink Unlimited until it went up in flames. Having a brother in the Grizzlies is not making life easy on Shelly. One desperate act causes Shelly to re-enter Blaze's world. Now that Blaze is back in her life Shelly is having a hard time trying to hide his effect on her.
Michael "Blaze" Sturm is the Club President of the new Montana charter of the Prairie Devils. Blaze gave up being a Nomad to start building himself a life in Montana. Answering Saffron's call starts Blaze and his club down a dangerous road.
I have to stop here or ruin the rest of this book for everyone. This book keeps you hooked and saying OMG til the very end. I am jonesing for a fourth book. I just can't get enough of Nicole's Prairie Devils MC Bikers. On a scale from 1-10 I give Savage Kind Of Love a HUGE 10. I think, of the three books, this book is the darkest and most gritty. It pushed the limits of just how much one person could take before they start to crumble. If you are looking for a truly dark and gritty story, HOT biker, a down on her luck ex-stripper, or just a great read than Savage Kind Of Love is the book for you. I think everyone Adult 18+ should go out and pick up a copy of this book. If you Haven't read Outlaw Kind Of Love (Book #1) or Nomad Kind Of Love (Book #2) then while you are buying Savage Kind Of Love you should also grab books #1 and #2 (review of both books below). Saffron and Blaze want you to hear their story in their own words.
This book tells the story of Michael "Blaze" Strum, the President of the new Prairie Devils Montana charter, and Shelly "Saffron" Reagan.
Saffron had a hard life growing up with her sick mother and her brother. Alone taking care of her mother, she ends up taking a job as a stripper at the Prairie Devils's club. After being attacked by a member of the rival MC, the Grizzlies MC, she is rescued by Blaze. She instantly feels a connection between them. After a time apart, Saffron needs to be rescued again and asks Blaze for his help.
Blaze was the Nomad VP of the Prairie Devils MC, but tired of being always on the road, he accepted being the President of the new Prairie Devils Montana charter. After rescuing Saffron, he can't get her out of her mind and when she calls asking for his help, he doesn't hesitate.
They begin a relationship, even though Saffron is hiding some things from Blaze and the club.
Will Blaze make Saffron his old lady or will he let her go again?
This is a great book, with a very sexy story, with the drama and violence expected in a good MC story. The characters are amazing: Saffron is a strong woman, that does what has to be done to survive and stands by her man, even when her life is at stake; Blaze is one hot guy, with a heart of gold underneath the bad boy exterior.
If you love MC books, with lots of steamy moments, and can handle everything that comes with them, especially the violence, this book is for you!
I don't know if there's more books in this series, but I would love to read Tank's story.
This is my first full MC romance read and personally, I really don't know if this is my type of story . I enjoyed it with the romance stuff side as Nicole did a great job on that aspect, -- I'm really not sure about the plot or how the bikers live and survive . Its the concept that I'm really oppose but Im sure its just me . The violence and terrorizing innocents and how bikers and their old ladies chose to live their lives is something I am questioning all throughout my reading . Its like my own principle and moral values against the bikers (if that makes sense)
I gave this 4 stars because Nicole writing is smooth although there were some transition problem form one scene to another which made me confuse a little. I can vividly imagine the violence and I wince a lot . I got angry with what happened to Saffrons' mother and his stupid brother . On the other hand, I really enjoyed Blaze and Saffron together , the romance was sizzling once we get to that part although the connection between the two were build up slowly because the connection wasn't there in the beginning. Blaze is a total hot badass biker but with heart -- he will protect the one that he loves. Saffron came as weak character in the beginning but I warmed at her after few chapters.
I actually want to know more about Tank, I dont know if Im gonna read another MC romance - but If Tank will have a story I will try .
If you're really into MC romance - Im sure you would love this and fully appreciate so you should read it.
I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. I have been a little leery about getting into the MC club books for some reason. I don't know if its cause I grew up around bikers and the ones I knew just weren't sexy so they don't go together in my brain. I was glad I finally gave it a shot though.
I haven't read the other parts of this series, but I didn't feel lost or left out, so I would recommend this even if you haven't read books one and two (as an aside they are now very high on my too read list). I thought the characters were very well rounded and like-able. and there was a good mix of attention paid to Shelly/Saffrons family as well as her new relationship.
While there was a fair amount of violence alluded to, none of it was too graphic and it all was well plotted, ie no violence for violence sake. And there was plenty of hotness to make up for it if you don't mind a little bit of darkness now and then.
The only reason I gave it four stars as opposed to five is sometimes there would be shifts in time from one paragraph to another that weren't well indicated. I am not entirely sure this isn't a formatting thing because it was an ARC so readers may never notice. But it would jump sometimes hours, sometimes weeks in the span of a paragraph and every time it would confuse me so I would have to stop and go back to figure out what was going on with the jump. In generally I can overlook it though as the book was overall well plotted and sexy as h**l.
DISCLAIMER TO MY FELLOW GOODREADER This review is my personal opinion and may contain: spoilers, quotes, rants, cussing (sometimes I cannot help myself) and a possible full on recap. I in no way want to ruin anyone’s book reading experience so please read my words with caution.
"SAVAGE LOVE: FIERCE, SEDUCTIVE, AND LIMITLESS..."
We first met 24 year old Shelly "Saffron" Reagan when she worked briefly at Pink Unlimited in Python. She was punched in the face by a member of the Grizzlies MC. Then VP of Prairie Devils MC, Michael "Blaze" Sturm took care of her and sent her on her way with his number. Shortly after the aftermath of Grizzlies vs Devils in Python, Shelly's brother shows up at her door after being gone for years. To her shock he's a member for Grizzlies MC Washington. He sends his club either with Shelly to the store and things get shitty immediately. He tries to rape her but she bashes his head in with a rock. With no one else to turn to, Shelly calls the number she stored in her phone all those weeks ago. Blaze is now President of the Prairie Devils in Missoula. He sets out to sort out the mess his fantasy girl got herself into. Little does he know bad goes to worse to fucking terrible..
"I knew I'd truly started the rest of my life, lost forever in this bad boy's raging love."
Cliffhanger – no (book 3 series) POV - Shelly and Blaze
I loved this installment of the Prairie Devils. Saffron/Shelley is so strong. She is a character that appears in Nomad KInd of Love and then is a main character in this book. In the beginning, Saffron has a run in with a Grizzlie that does not end well for her. Blaze takes care of her, and then she goes home with no job, and no hope of one since there are no jobs in their tow. Shelley is taking care of her disabled mother as her brother left 3 years earlier. Her brother, Jordan, comes back but he is a Grizzlie. He throws money at Shelley and her mother, and leaves her in care of one of his "brothers". Shelley has to go on an errand and the "brother" goes with her. He attacks her and she kills him. Then she calls Blaze for help. At this point they are pulled back together. There is some back forth between the two and finally they get together. Shelley's brother disappears, and when her mother is murdered. At this point she realizes that her brother is messed up and Blaze is the only person she can trust. Shelley is kidnapped and tortured by the Grizzlie's. She is rescued and revenge is served.
This book is gritty, and yet has true love/commitment in it. Shelley/Saffron's attitude and strength during her kidnapping and torture is amazing.

The author sent me a copy of this new book for an honest review. AND I LOVED IT, gave it 5 stars. I am a serious fan of MC romances and Ms. Snow does not disappoint. This series is raw, gritty, interesting, sexy and this story grips you.. Savage Kind of Love follows Saffron and Blaze who we first met in (Nomad Kind of Love). It grabbed me from the very first page and literally took me on an intense ride. I loved the chemistry between Saffron and Blaze, their first time TOGETHER is HOT.
Saffron has it rough, she is struggling to take care of her disabled somewhat bitter mom by working at a strip club owned by the Prairie Devils MC. Her brother disappeared a few years ago and is long gone or so it seems. He turns up as a member of the Grizzlies MC and she is terrified especially after having a bad run in with one. He brings the evil with him and from that moment on its nothing but trouble. There is violence, suspense, and a happy ending which is really my favorite part. Nicole Snow has done it again. I really enjoyed this book, Saffron and Blaze's story is my favorite. I can highly recommend this book and the entire series. I am looking forward to reading Tank and Emma's story.
I've been waiting for Blaze's story forever! The troubled dark horse of The Prairie Devils MC is given a final chance when he's made president of the Montana charter. Determined to prove to the charter that he's up to the task, Blaze will do whatever it takes to make his mark and earn the respect of his fellow Devils.
Dark, gritty and independent, Blaze refuses to fail, and has no desire to be tied down to an old lady. Even though his fellow presidents are falling like flies, Blaze chooses to walk his path alone. When Saffron Reagan blows back into his life, she and ignite a flame of passion he is unable to resist and suddenly he finds himself playing a high stakes game of love that he doesn't intend to lose.
My favorite in Nicole Snow's Prairie Devils MC series so far, Savage Kind of Love has darker themes that the previous books, and a raw and rough storytelling style that kept me on the edge of my seat from the very first page! I would recommend this story to anyone who is looking for a book with an undeniably troubled alpha male, dark emotions and erotic love scenes.
A copy of Savage Kind of Love was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.
I am giving this review for author Nicole Snow. This is my first book review for the author but I have to say it wont be the last because I enjoyed reading this book.
Shelly Reagan aka Saffron is finding it hard to find a job after the strip club she was working at was burned to the ground but she gets a job as a bartender in the local biker club and falls for the biker president. Michael Sturm aka Blaze is the president on the biker club but little does he know that Saffrons brother is in the rival biker club and in his town to cause problems. Things more or less explode between Saffron and Blaze and they find themselves deep in under the cover of lust.
I have read a few biker books like this 1 but this book is more gritty, more drama and more sex then the other books. The story line is straight forward with out all the fluff. The characters seem to interact in a way that just makes this book grip the reader and not let go.
Because of the sexual content and language this book is for mature readers.
I'm really liking Nicole Snow's biker books...they are exciting, sexy and full of passion...plus chock full of violence, non-stop action and dysfunctional family stories. Blaze and Saffron made for a hotter than hot couple...this was a girl who didn't take crap from anyone and dealing with a sick mom and a wayward brother kept her on her toes and her plate full. However she managed to get herself caught between two rival clubs and used as a tool to manipulate Blaze and her own brother in an attempt to take over...with devastating consequences. This was a very gritty and brutal book...scenes of torture and murder were really gruesome...but it worked and was to be expected with characters in this lifestyle. Another hit for me in this series and a must-read if you follow The Prairie Devils but be forewarned that this novel is very dark with plenty of sexual content.
**** 4 **** "brotherly love is not always enough" stars
I liked the story and was so glad Blaze got an old lady. I probably would have given the book 3 stars but the story was good. There were a few things that bothered me though. 1. During chapters days would change or we'd go into a new scene but I had no idea things were shifting bc there was no break in the paragraphs. I had to go back a few times and reread to figure out what was going on. 2. I had a hard time following along on some scenes. Like the first time they were together. The description didn't flow well. 3. Lack of detail which kind of goes with #2. I have no idea where her tattoos were. Her hip was mentioned but then the story mentioned something about between her legs. I have no idea where her property tat is. It was very hard to imagine. That's it. I hope Tank and Emma get a book and if the things mentioned above are fixed I'm sure it'll be a 5 star read.
Wow! Okay ladies if you love books about MC motorcycle clubs then this book is for you! Saffron is working for a living to help make ends meet and paying for her moms medical bills. Being a stripper wasn't her first choice but she does what she need to do to survive! Blaze is the president of the Prairie Devils MC club and he swears he will never be tied down. But being part of an MC comes with a price and when Saffron's brother comes into town wearing the rival patches of another MC, things take a turn for the worse! When Saffron is kidnapped Blaze will do whatever is necessary to save her and no one will get in his way! This book will have on the edge of your seat! You won't be able to put it down!
