Snowflakes

A song for high voice and piano that portrays the childlike delight of snow. The original poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow has dark sentiments of the dangers of winter, which are also depicted in the setting of the later verses. This setting uses a range of techniques to express all the emotions in the poem.
