How did I not already write a review for this amazing book????!!! Okay where do I begin???!!! Thomas, alpha male submissive!!!! yes!! that's right I said it!! male submissive!! how many books out there have that?? This was a first for me!!! This book is every bit hot, steamy, keeps you on your toes, wanting more! A must read for anyone 18+
Loved this book!! I was lucky enough to be a beta reader and give my input to Sam! A different change of pace, very erotic!! There's not another book out there that I've found that compares!! Had my emotions all over the place, whatever the characters were feeling, I swear I could feel down to my soul!!! I fell in love with Sam and Thomas right away and can't wait to see what's coming next!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I read this book from start to finish without putting it down. This story is very well written, steamy and hot. Anyone who likes to read about Dom/Sub should read this book. It proves that anyone can fall in love.

First, let me start by saying that this is an Erotica novel. Don’t complain when the main point of the story is the characters having kinky sex. If you didn’t know, that’s the point of the whole Erotica genre; character growth through the use of sexual acts.
Samantha Drake, successful lawyer and Domme, takes on Thomas Hunt sexy submissive. Samantha needs control after being denied “free will” in a sense, from her family. Her overbearing Father ran the household with an iron fist and her Mother bends to his every demand. Samantha determined to not be like her mother grows into the Domme that we meet at the beginning of the story. Samantha takes on a case that changes everything; her business partnership with Cal and trust of Thomas. Her emotions are challenged along with her learning if she can bend her own rules and take a gamble on the losing game of love.
I was captivated at the beginning of this story. I love a strong and kick-ass female character. It was humorous the way Sam messed with Ms. Cutler by telling her the explicit sexual experience between her and Thomas. Samantha has a carefree, I don’t give a damn, kind of attitude and it rocks!
Thomas is adorable; he completes Sam, in that where she lacks the ability to let go, he shows her how to relax and have fun. They may have a Dom/Sub agreement, but their friendship and love is evident (even when Sam refuses to believe that she is falling for Thomas). Their playful banter made this story amusing and there are plenty of laugh out loud moments.
Don’t let me fool you because when the plot twists kick in, there is plenty of suspense that leaves you begging for the next story!
If you’re looking for a repeat of Fifty Shades, forget it. I don’t care what people say, but the only thing similar to Fifty Shades is that this is an Erotica BDSM novel. So stop looking for a repeat of Fifty Shades and read this story because this has very hot light BDSM scenes with a great surrounding storyline that is both balanced and well-written. I hope you will love it as much as I did, but if our tastes vary that’s fine. Give this read a chance and it will entertain you.

This book has been hiding on my kindle for a few weeks and I am glad I flipped back a few pages to read it. For this being a debut novel, it is well written and smoothly paced. There was a good cast of secondary characters that made it easier to relate to the leading lady and man.
The book starts and then takes you back in time to the events that lead you up to where you picked it up. This is not a book for those who don't like to read about sex in graphic detail- and there is a lot of it. However, it does not detract from the story. It makes sense for the characters, Sam and Thomas; especially considering how they met.
Life happens and love finds you when you least expect it. What I wasn't quite ready for was how insecure Sam was. Her character was a little hard for me to relate to at first. Then I got to the scene where she was at dinner with her parents and it all made sense. I loved the journey this book took me on. There were a few twists and turns that I did not see coming at all. Be sure to read the extras at the end of the book too- they're a great lead in/follow up to some of the events that took place in this book.
I can not wait to see what happens to Sam and Thomas in the next installment of this series. I know that we haven't heard the last from Lisa and I'm sure Sam's father has a few things in store for them too.

Sam JD hunts book starts off with Samantha Drake, a lawyer who has control issues, but is very good at doing her job . She works with another lawyer named Cal who has been harboring feelings for her. When Sam decides to have another man in her life , she meets a man from a bar , who is interested in the same lifestyle that she is in . When things start to take a turn for the worse , there is tension between Sam and Thomas, who is the man from the bar, but there is tons of chemistry between them. When Sam is offered to go to a charity ball event she brings Thomas . When at the gala, Samantha and Cal start to have words and what sets off Cal is seeing Samantha with Thomas on her arm. CAL starts to be an instigator and bother Samantha and Thomas .
I rate this book R ; because of the sexual content and language .
I give this book 5 stars and up and I would tell you to go ahead and purchase the second book by Sam JD hunt continuing the Thomas Hunt series

This is a fast paced, exciting, hot and steamy, humorous at times, surprising story, right from the start! The author promises you will not have to wait for the excitement and the promise is definitely delivered in spades! You will fall in love with some of the character while detesting others! This story will astound you at every turn! Although this book is a page turner you can’t put down; a couple of times I found myself feeling the need for an emotional break. That’s just how tightly wound the author keeps you throughout this story. I was surprise by the times I found myself laughing out loud! Yes, there were some tears as well. The author delivers a seamless blend of emotions resulting from a passionate romance! All of your senses will be evoked. I cannot wait until the second installment of this series is available and you won’t be able to either, once you read this first book!

Roulette was simply amazing. I started the story thinking I was going to be reading about a hardcore Domme. In fact what I got was a regular woman who liked to have control and male submissives, with some kinky sex on the side. When you meet Thomas Hunt, her new male submissive, you instantly fall in love with his young boy charm. Sam finds her resolve slipping more and more the deeper she gets in with Thomas. I found myself fighting for them to work throughout the entire story. You will laugh, find joy, be scared, be skeptical, be sad, be turned on, and be happy through this adventure. This story was refreshing and I highly recommend you take the journey with Sam and Thomas as they figure out if a D/s situation can actually work as a real relationship.

I am so loving Thomas our main male character. He is the alpha male that has turned submissive but sometimes his true male shines through!!! It was so unique and refreshing. Thomas is a young, handsome, intelligent man who knows what he wants and will do whatever he can to get it.
Samantha is a beautiful, smart hot shot attorney that enjoys being in control at work and in the bedroom. When these two meet is takes us a fabulous journey. She knows what she wants in a submissive and thinks that she may have found that in Thomas. Soon tale takes a different twist and she begins to question everything that she has thought she wanted and needed. Samantha begins to break all her own rules and it more than scares her! I cant wait for book 2 !!!

I was pleasantly surprised with Roulette. I love a good romance, boy meets girl, they fall in love... but this book is so much more, and has it's own originality.
I've only ever read a dominant book from a male's perspective, and it was refreshing to be on the woman's side for a change.
The best part of this book, there is more to the story, an actual plot that holds suspense and keeps you on your toes throughout the book.
Hunt's writing is very well and had me engaged, something that's hard to find in books lately. Personally, only thing I wish there was more of was dialogue between the characters. I'm one who needs that in a book to help me feel the connection between the characters.

There is a LOT of story packed into not quite 200 pages! The focus starts out on the Domme/sub/BDSM angle of their story, but quickly becomes more about their overall relationship. Thomas is completely endearing - you cannot help but adore him. He is compliant, demanding, flirty, confident, playful - his many sides proved to be a healthy challenge for Sam. There is some serious heat factor in their relationship. This is definitely only a segment of their story, but there was no epic-sized cliff hanger. However, I'm anxiously anticipating the next installment of their story!

A good erotic story! Hot and steamy and well written overall. Sam and Thomas are great characters and easy to connect with. Loved secondary characters and would like to see inside their heads.
Only negative about this book to me was I felt it jumped unexpectedly and sometimes I had to reread a couple of lines to make sure I didn't misunderstand or skip something. Interesting storyline, can't wait to see what happens in the next installment. Reading the extras opens up more possibilities so make sure to read them!

Oh my goodness this book is HOT! I fell in love with this story. From the HOT BDSM Sex to just plain vanilla you will not be able to put down.
Sam and Thomas are perfect together. From her need to be in control to him submitting! I loved the shaving screen! This book has so many twist and turns that I was surprised several times. I laughed and smiled until it hurt!
Mrs. Hunt you certainly know how to keep your readers hooked and I can't wait to read more of your work.

This book is HOT! Roulette is one of the best books I have ever read. I fell in love with Sam and Thomas. Whatever they were feeling I was feeling too. It was like watching a movie and it just sucked you right in. Sam kept you wanting more throughout the book. I can't wait for the next book in the series to come out! All I can say this is a must read, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Sam for writing such a great book!

Wow!!! This book has got it all; love, lust, passion great sex scenes and most of all it has a story.
The dynamics between the characters are realistic and the banter between them is comical and fun. I have even started using Thomas's cute words...one of them being 'Babycakes.'
If you like a hot read with a mixture of suspense, then I would recommend this book 100%.

I loved this book and cannot wait for the next one in the series!! Thomas is sexy and smokin hot!! AND...the sex between them is soooo blazing hot you can't help but be affected! Whew!!! Bravo, Sam...BRA-VO!!!

Hot & steamy read! Sam's debut is awesome. If you haven't read Roulette yet, you should. Lite BDSM with a side of romance & a tad of suspense keeps you riveted until the very end. I'm anxiously awaiting book 2, Blackjack, due out next month.

I received this book and honestly it is a HOT, steamy read! This book is a little different for me with a female domme! But as I got more into the book I couldn't wait to see what would happen between them once lines are crossed! I really enjoyed the book and off to read the next :)

I LOVED this book! It was different and there were a few surprises that I didn't see coming! So happy I picked up this book, can't wait to start the next!

3.5 - 4 switch it up stars.
I liked a great deal of this story, though not all of course. There was one part of their story that was a 'squick' to me, more of a matter of your kink is not my kink, so that's on me and not the authors writing ability.
The sex scenes were smoking hot and complimented the story, rather than 'being' the story. I liked that they were both switches, even though it was clear Samantha was the dominant one of the two. It was great she was willing to bottom and put her trust in Thomas's hands, something she didn't find easy to do.
My nit-pick, I got sick and tired of hearing about how much this guy liked to eat! Yes we all have to eat, some people have huge appetites, but gosh damn don't ram that fact down my throat...pun intended :)
My Grumble, and what knocked off half a star, the stupid cliff-hanger, and the fact this story is told entirely from Sam's POV.
I'm on the fence if I will read book 2 or not. From the titbit I read, it is just a recap of this story but in Thomas's POV and with him becoming the dominant one in the relationship.

I started this book yesterday around 4pm and let me say I couldnt put it down..Im totally intrigued with the BDSM world, especially when the woman is in control..So this book had me from the get go..By Chap 4&5 I had to take a breather cuz it was so Hot and I think my hubby was a little concerned..Of course I was right back at it..The story had lots of SEX and KINK and I loved how it went back and forth..with out giving alot away..Now if you want something that keeps you damp and wanting then I highly suggest it.. One hot read! I was hooked right from the start! This book is a great start to the series. Sam and Thomas have great chemistry! I enjoyed getting to learn about them and seeing how their arrangement progressed. Not only is Thomas hot but, he is smart, funny as hell and loyal! Aside from the hot, kinky sex there is actually an adventurous storyline, it doesn't get boring and I couldn't wait to see what happened next. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a steamy read laced with humor and adventure.
