This is one of my go-to series for pick-me-up cheerful happy literature. But this book broke my heart. I’m so sad now! If Stale and Arthur don’t find the culprits, catch them, slice them into pieces and smoke them on a bbq in book 10, I’ll be very angry. *fingers crossed everything will be okay again in the future*

What.The.Heck??? What sick twist is this?? This sounds like a completely different story than how it started and then near the end it sounds like it started over from when she was 10?? I'm so confused and this story totally sucks now. Series has been ruined for me. Even the author's afterword doesn't shed any light on what's going on with this volume....
