This book is for a very specific audience: Somebody who is willing and able to catch & eat a squirrel, but doesn't know how to cook apples in tin foil by a fire.

Lots of instructions on equipment, lots of discussion of best uses of a dutch oven and other types of fire cooking. Recipes are all pretty basic.
