Regina has been craving attention from Mark, her common law husband of eight years. As far as she’s concerned, he’s a square, and she finds herself making excuses to stay out of the house and out of his sight. With no kids and feeling stuck with a man who has no intentions of marrying her in the eyes of God, she makes a decision that will only bring drama and confusion into her once predictable life.

Regina’s sudden cold shoulder toward Mark makes him wonder if his first and only love has changed her mind about spending the rest of their lives together. Although he’s never felt the need to comply with society’s standards and get a marriage certificate to prove he’s committed, Mark disregards his beliefs and pops the question. Will he regret his decision? More importantly, since Regina has already found new pleasures to keep her content, is Mark’s proposal too late?

This book was good but of course there were plots and everyone has a hidden agenda. Although I did enjoy the audiobook and listening while working it’s not one of my favorites. This book is about a woman who yearns more from her relationship but fails to communicate that with her partner follow Regina as she falls into the abyss.

Read at your own risk. I wanted to give this book 5 stars but come towards the end something wasn't clear. A past mistake by two people leads to a child. But come towards the end I'm trying to understand why this child isn't seven and instead this child is a baby/toddler in a stroller. Maybe I missed something there. Was that past mistake not eight years ago? So over eight years ago with 9 months of that being pregnant. That's where I was completely confused at. Why is this child in a stroller? Maybe I'm have to go back and re-read. But I swear that was clearly mentioned. Brief sexual encountered with a woman before he met the woman of his dreams. But other than that story kept my attention. Regina a woman that wants her cake and eat it too. With wanting Mark to pop the big question she wants more besides money. Sex, that's where Tony comes in at. But Tony starts to fall hard for Regina. Lots of secrets revealed with many different characters. Even Mark isn't all that stand upish either.

A crazy erotic roller coaster 🥴😂…I wasn’t prepared to be caught off guard like this. The story ended up being much more than the synopsis described, which was an unhinged, but intriguing surprise. Read with caution ⚠️.

What an awesome read. First, I was intrigued about this book when I found out the author was the sister-in-law of the Carl Weber. Secondly, in reading the back cover, I knew that it would be one I wouldn't easily put down. And, lastly, I was just hoping that the content wasn't too raw.

Everything that I surmised was accurate. The author definitely had a flair that would prove to be very interesting. She, too, had a language, that at times, had me second guessing if I wanted to continue to read. Nevertheless, wanting to know the outcome of each concocted situation peaked my curiosity.....so the reading continued.

How far would you go to get what you want? These are the questions that Mark, Regina, Tony, Amanda and others would have to answer. Is it ever too late to change your lifestyle? Again, characters such as the ones listed above, as well as Diana and others would have to answer that very question.

The author did a phenomenal job in developing the characters. She was able to draw the reader in by building up every character and leaving no stone unturned. There were several instances when I could somewhat predict the next movement; other times I was caught completely off guard. At various intervals I was thinking "say it's not so;" and at others I murmured "surely he/she can't be that stupid."

All I kept saying between each chapter was "oh, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive." Weber illustrated how complicated life becomes when people start lying. She, too, masterfully portrayed how outcomes can become positive when you are truthful. No spoiler here....you've got to read and enjoy the ride. Note: mature audiences only! Enjoy....

3.5 STARS... First read/listen by this author. I enjoyed the mulitple narrators for this story, it helped keep the MESSY characters in line. It wasn't too over the top, some things I felt a little unrealistic but this is fiction right. The lengths some females will go through for a man... or better yet, someone else's man! And lets not forget that some men catch feelings for women who are taken also. This book sheds light on both sides. The storyline held my attention throughout the book. I would definitely read another book by Natalie Weber, I like her style so far.

This book started out with a bang! They were truly SHARING THE SHEETS.

I enjoyed the twists and turns as well as the interconnectedness revealed about the characters. My only issue with the story is there seemed to be an error in the storyline towards the end that was not caught by the editor(s). Nevertheless, the story is still worth the read.

I really loved the Epilogue. It gave closure to the book and left no unanswered questions. It told what happened to each character.
