"This is Mills & Boon/Harlequin romance at its best!" Goodreads reviewer

Michelle is an award-winning author who has been writing for romance publisher Harlequin Mills & Boon since 2007. "Truly funny and moving", “Poignant and absolutely impossible to put down,” and “Sparkling with warmth, humour and charm” is just a small sample of what the critics have had to say about her romances. In 2019 she graduated with her PhD (her topic area was Contemporary Romance and Feminism). She’s a sucker for happy endings, heroines who have a secret stash of chocolate, and heroes who know how to laugh. She lives in Newcastle on Australia's east coast with her own romantic hero, a house full of dust and books, and an eclectic collection of 60s and 70s vinyl.

t's been a difficult year after the loss of her father and festive cheer is the last thing Addie Ramsey is feeling, instead of falala she's all about the bleh! Until her new boss, billionaire Flynn Mather, offers her the perfect distraction , to spend the holidays with him in Europe as his temporary PA!

For Flynn Christmas time has never been magical but with Addie by his side things could get fun. Could Addie be the Christmas present he never knew he needed? And will Addie become the joyful person she once was?

Words cannot begin to describe who magical this book was,! Amazing, romantic, wonderful , incredible are just some of the words I can think of, but they do not seem to come close to the awesomeness that this read was.

Flynn oh my gosh Flynn was so super sexy and had that whole I am charming my way through life vibe , which usually annoys me yet with him it just fit and I loved it, excellent work Michelle!

If there is one book that can bring me out of a sadness slump this one is it, it was sensational , sweet and sexy and the author delivered a really amazing series of unique settings.

I recommend this read for all fans of romances that start with a bang , have a kick in the middle and a wow ending!

When will I get to live my dreams?

That is what Addie asks her bull 'Bruce Augustus' as she cries her heart out just before she signs a deal to dell her homestead, Lorna Lee's.

She dreams of travelling the world (just like me) and is confident that that is her destiny.

Unknown to her, Flynn, who is buying Lorna Lee's, listens as she pours out her heart to her bull and sweetens the deal further by adding international travel into agreement as her PA for a few weeks.

They go to Munich, Greece so that Flynn can exact revenge from man whom he believes wronged his father.

In Munich it is that these two not only learn about each other but about themselves as well. I know it is pretty clichéd but the way it orchestrated is what makes it stand out.

I rarely give 5 star review, but as far as I am concerned, this one deserved it.

I thought that this was an interesting book. This book has started getting me into the holiday mood. I loved watching the sweetness between the two characters. I loved that there was more then one point of view which helped me enjoy the characters more. I thought that this book was enjoyable and very well written. There was never a dull moment and overall I really loved this book. If you are looking for a sweet book to get you in the mood for the holidays then this is for you.

3 STARS

I really enjoyed Addie's character. She brings hard work, joy, giving to others, caring about everyone & loyal. Flynn is harder to like all the time.

Addie is from Australia and most of the book takes place in Germany. Addie really enjoys seeing the sights, snow, & Olympic venue. Me I have a hard time liking snow when I have to be out in it all winter. Makes you want to appreciate it too.

I think it sounded like fun to go to Olympic venues than I think I need to appreciate all the ones in my backyard that I don't take advantage of.

Addie and her neighbors want to sale their ranches all together. Addie wants to travel and see the world and be free. But condition of the sale is her staying two years to help the new owner with her experience. Flynn throws in a month paid vacation every year and airlines tickets too.
He also asks her to go to Germany over Christmas and be is PA for a few weeks there.

Flynn has a deal to make in Germany. He wants revenge on someone from his past.

This is a nice romance, that takes you away to explore Munich. It is a clean read.

I would read more of Michelle Douglas in the future based on this book.

I was given this ebook from Net Galley and Harlequin and in exchange agree to give honest review of Snowbound Surprise for the Billionaire.

SNOWBOUND SURPRISE FOR THE BILLIONAIRE by author Michelle Douglas is a December 2014 release by Harlequin Romance series.

Flynn Mather overhears Adelaide Ramsey crying in her farm’s prize bull’s shoulder. And pouring her out to him so he offers her trip to Munich to work as his temporary PA. Addie welcomes the trip as she will be away from her farm during Christmas as it was the first Christmas without her father.

The festive season in Munich with Flynn makes her see her boss in a different light. But would Flynn ever see her as more than an employee? Because with Addie, she would want it all. Marriage and a family. Dare he risk it? Could he make it work?

SNOWBOUND SURPRISE FOR THE BILLIONAIRE is a sensational romance with unique settings. I loved reading how Addie and Flynn spent the festive season together. Author Michelle Douglas blended a perfect mix of romance, holiday spirit and charm in this story.

Recommended for all readers of romance.

"DNF -- 2 out of 5 stars. Two people come to each aid in unexpected ways...

I was intrigued with the buildup of this novel. Yet, by the time 31% of this novel had been read, I was to disgruntled with how little Addie & Flynn really talked to each other and instead overly admired each other’s looks while talking around each other that I had to stop."

Got to about 30% and decided to throw in the towel. The beginning shows a lot of promise (the hero buys the heroine's family farm) but then it morphs into her playing PA to his Busy Busy Businessman and it reads more like a travelogue of Munich than a romance. I also felt the character development was light in the pants and didn't really see any "sizzle" between the romantic couple. Then it's revealed that the hero has not one, but two failed marriages - and I was kind of over it all. Lots of books waiting for me - moving on.

I won this book throgh Goodreads First read.
I expected a cliche love story before I started reading this book but I must say I was surprised. There were severeal unexpected plottwist along the way and i found myself really enjoying reading this book. It's not too long and quicly read but it is exiting and not as predictable as i thought i would be. The ending was a little fast and strange for my taste but all in all i liked this book.

This book was definitely not what I was expecting. I was expecting more excitement, more romance...it was just kind of so-so for me. I didn't hate it, but there wasn't really anything I LOVED about it. I thought that the characters were both good, but it was the story line that I just had trouble connecting with.

Addie was a wonderful character. Too bad Flynn didn't deserve her. He was really hard to like. There was very little chemistry between these two, no slow build up. The setting was nice and interesting, though. Because of the title, I kept waiting for them to get stranded somewhere in a snowstorm. That didn't happen.

Very slow and disappointing. Flynn and Addie had no chemistry. And I love snowbound stories - nobody was snowbound in this one, however much you stretch the meaning of the word. I wish Harlequin would stop with the misleading titles.

I think I was won over the moment Addie climbed into the bull's pen and cried to him like a woman would to her dog or cat. Except...she's hugging a huge bull! This was the perfect Christmas romance. I loved that it was set in Germany. It reminded me of my time there not long before Christmas with the glorious markets that are so unique to the European culture. I really enjoyed my time with Addie and Flynn as we visited Munich. Addie and Flynn both overcame plenty of conflict to realise what they both really wanted out of life. Then they realised they wanted each other. The perfect book for a Christmas read.

3.5 stars - Loved the H/h's chemistry, their life's stories including H's 2 failed marriages. Loved the plot and the turns. This book was truly a Romance book and with its foreign locations, Christmas theme complete with snow, no sex but ends with a HEA kiss it has the potential to be a Hallmark movie! Both H n h were like-able. The character of h impressed me as she had true joie de vivre (didn't come across as a ditzy flake) and a courage of conviction and stood up for herself and was a true equal despite her being not as 'rich.'

Addie is grieving and trying to comes to terms with selling her property. She thinks she needs to move on and 'have a big adventure' - for reasons we learn through the book. Her buyer is billionaire Flynn, who has a fairly complicated and bitter family history. A lot of the story is set against the backdrop of a wintry Munich, and it's not only a romance between Addie and Flynn, but a romance with Munich, as well as the Aussie country. Nicely Christmassy.

MS Douglas's stories always bring a smile to me and this one is no different what a beautiful story filled with love and hope as Addie is whisked away to Munich as a PA to Flynn who has bought her farm in Mudgee Addie has been through a rough time and is detrmined to keep a promise made to her best friend that she travel and see the world and Flynn is going to help her but Flynn has issues that must be delt with. Arriving in Munich Flynn begins to see that he needs a life rather than all work and with Addie's wonderful attitude he starts to see the light this is a story that will have you smiling and cheering them on the setting is beautiful I felt like I was in Munich at Christmas time this is a story not to be missed.
