I took the risk because I wanted to and fortunately that same year I received an offer from a publisher for a two book contract–after a thirteen year effort, but that’s another story.

So good! This book has everything: betrayal, jealousy, suspense and laugh-out-loud crazy characters! Millionaire Jason is on the verge of losing everything because his "thug-life" persona intimidates his potential investors. So Abby is hired to smooth out his rough edges. But who does Abby have to hire to protect her heart?

I thoroughly ENJOYED this book! Jason is on the verge of losing all he values because he is perceived as a "thug" and unfortunately, he terrifies any/all his potential investors. Abby is employed to teach him to be how to be “classy and approachable”. Jason and Abby’s attraction is INSTANT! While Abby tries to ignore it, Jason wants to explore it further because he believes she is “THE ONE” that can soothe the "beast" within. Who will win this battle of the HEART! This book has shocking betrayal, suspense and some comedic entertainment throughout. I don’t know how I missed this little gem. Kudo’s Ms. Girard!

After a messy divorce Abby Baylor main objective is to growing her business, getting more clients. Challenged by some one closer to her she takes on a client no one else will touch. This was a good read with some very comical scenes , well written, Dara always leave you waiting on the next story.

There is no doubt about it from the beginning to the end you will be in love with the characters as I was. This was a great book, a rags to riches story about how you can rise above for true love. I would recommend this book!

This was a great read! Not steamy, hot passion but it held me captive and I couldn't put this book down. I loved the strength of the heroine and that she didn't let what others thought of the hero distract her. She looked at the heart of him and not the outside man. Their story is a must read.

Finally, a millionaire who's been through something and a woman like most of us. This book had the right amount of passion and chemistry. Also had background characters with just enough detail to keep you interested in them. Another hit for Dara. I read this in 2 hours.

Nice story.
I have enjoyed all of the stories by ms Girard .Love the drama,a little bit of danger and the odd couple love story that slowly developed. This book was a little difficult to follow at times.
