This is a sad tale, sad and sorrowful. Which by no means makes it any worse! Besides, the ending is a happy ending.

There are adventures and a dangerous journey, but the book is about facing one`s own fears, first and foremost. And little Timothy is not unlike Tolkien`s Frodo, methinks.

I do believe the book is well worth translating and reading and re-reading.
