"Can I spend the night at Tom's?"
Ray's "Was hoping you'd stay home tonight; haven't seen you in months."
"I love you mom. How about I'm spending the night at Tom's. See you tomorrow."
Chi exerted; that's how I'll work-it.
She looks shocked; smiles; then agrees.

"You mean like jujitsu?"
Ray laughs.
"No, even more dangerous; even more powerful."

"Now do you at least believe, I might know something? That you don't? I might have knowledge of forces, and power, you do not understand?"

"Michelle's got the-hots for you; I know you like her. Go talk to her."
"Don't know what to say. Don't wanna talk to her in front of all these people."
"I know man. But sometimes you gotta suck-it-up. Let me ask you a If you were in a gas-station rest-room, and saw a thick-wad of hundred-dollar bills in the toilet, would you reach-in and get it?
Or would you walk away?"
"I'd reach-in without hesitation."
