I forced myself to finish reading this book. The whole tone of the book was juvenile, could have been written by a 12 year old for 12 year olds. The 'hero' was a wimp who always had tears in his eyes, pontificating about his parents, rebelling against them and so forth. The phraseology was equally childish. Tenses were jumbled.
I couldn't even give this book one star. There was no evidence of any type of research being done, the plot was thin and pathetic, I kept on waiting for Colton to take down the number plates of the vehicles that were following him and at least giving them to his father to follow up on.
Having said this, if this was written by the author when she was in her early teens then i would give it 5 stars but definitely not if written when she was an adult.
