This was a short story about a young detective going undercover as a stripper in order to catch a killer.
Rose was a strong character. I didn’t think it would be believable at first; that a nineteen-year-old girl could possibly make detective, but she actually pulled it off. She didn’t know much about being sexy, but she did know how to hold her own against the big boys of the police department.
The storyline in this was okay, but the pacing was a little off. Rose’s supernatural abilities were discussed only briefly, whilst the rest of the story dragged a little bit. The story was enjoyable though, and there was a little twist thrown in there.
There was a touch of romance, but not a lot.
The ending came quite quickly, but things seemed to be wrapped up nicely.
