Handbook of basic info on (mostly digital) RPGs. Surprisingly comprehensive and includes some nice quick tips, though just playing a bunch of RPGs and analyzing them will also give you the same knowhow. Still, very well done for what it is.

Combination reference book and field manual akin to "The Sibley Guide to Birds" except for role-playing games.
