When she first sat down to take the test, Fawn didn't know what to expect. Would her outcome assign her to the simple job of farmer or angler? Or would she be sent off to work in the glamorous Central Region? As it turns out, life has a very different plan for her. She is an A-7, a personality type that's viewed as a threat by the government, and soon she is trapped on a frightening path. Fawn manages to escape from her captors, but her nightmare is far from over: after being forcibly removed from her old life, how will she survive? Luckily for her, she is rescued by Heather Bennett and Ash Foster, two A-7s who have succeeded in beating the system and are planning a mission that will expose the dark side of their nation's complex and oppressive structure that has been used to control people for decades. Fawn joins them, all the while realizing her growing feelings for Ash.

Yitzhak "Yitz" Applebaum is an American author of fiction. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, and raised in a small suburb nearby.

He published his first book, "A-7" in June of 2014. It is a young adult science-fiction book, with a sequel planned.

In his spare time, Applebaum enjoys reading, baking, and visiting museums.

A-7 is a very unique story with a captivating plot and excellent character development. I enjoyed watching fawn as her character unfolded and discovered who she really was. This is a great read for dystopian lover and young adults.

It's really refreshing being immersed in a totally new dystopian future. Fawn's world and the characters themselves all feel very vibrant, and it was exciting to watch the story unfold. I can't wait to read the next book in the series, Applebaum is truly a welcoming newcomer in the literary world!
