wasn't ready for it to end! (since that's the point of a short story, it's not really a valid complaint) At least now I have the rest of their story to look forward to. Both books I've read in this series are great and worth the read. I'm eagerly awaiting the next book.

This was the most unfinished of the series. Loved the characters, but the story almost felt like the first chapter of a longer story. I hope Ms. Masten will finish this series.

Well this book starts off with so much mystery, I was caught off guard. Rachel is after a artifact, before it gets into the wrong hands, then Garik shows up wanting the same item. These two shifters are so hot the pages of my ebook had steam coming up from it. Rachel is fighting with her emotions regarding Garik, they are mates but she does not want to mate with him, she just wants the hot sex. But Garik will keep at her until she admits to being his mate. Omg when the story ending I was stunned...I want more.... this book had a ending but not in the normal sense what Erika did was leave the story open so it could continue.

I give the storyline a 5, but the length and cliffhanger a 1. I love the Romeo and Juliet plot. It's fun to imagine the story with wolves. The passion us off the chart. You know that the struggle she is having between her mate and her pack is causing such stress. Good read but don't be disappointed when it just ends.

She's a badass

Absolutely adored the character of Rachel. She is one strong she-wolf not afraid to stand up to any man. Her problem is she's an Odin wolf. Her mate is a Fernin. They fight and bicker which is their foreplay that leads to an explosive ending
