I hate to end my reading year on a sour note, but here goes.
If you want a cheesy sweet biker (but really not a biker) book, read the first book. Forget the semi cliffy ending about the suspense plot - NOT the relationship - and call it a day. Trust me! Do not read this one!
I gave the author some slack with the first book because it was her first book. The writing needed work. I swear she regressed in this one. The 3rd person head hopping into every characters thoughts was terrible. The writing has not improved. Transitions between scenes are really awkward.
The violence against the heroine? Enough already! This woman got the shit beat out of her several times in the first book. Ok I can deal. But in this book it was OTT. There was just no need for it, but if it did happen you would think she would have been better protected! Her MAN should have locked her ass in the house until it was under control! If it is possible, almost every single character was TSTL.
On what planet does a big tough biker president allow a guy to continue to work there (NOT an MC member) who has said foul things to your wife multiple times and put his hands on her? Nate you totally lost your man card in this book! Many, many times!
What 2 year old speaks in complete sentences? I am not going to go on and on about all that bugged me. Suffice it to say almost all of it bugged me.

For Deanna and Nate life is just beginning, their wedding has taken place and they cannot wait to see what happens next in their life. As happily married newlyweds, Deanna finds the threat the almost killed her is not over. Her ex is in jail, but who could possibly be after her?
Great follow up to the series. Nate is as doting as ever and new characters are introduced. Not sure if their will be more in the Raven Mc's or if this was it.

Great conclusion to the first book. Deanna thought her troubles were over but she never bargain to be assaulted by a guy that looks so much like her ex(that is in prison) but now she comes face to fist many times when she learns that Lee has a half brother that looks just like him but is more set on killing her then Lee. Nate is dealing with this new guy that's out for his wife as well ans a new outside mechanic that is causing problems for the men and their old ladies but now is targeting Deanna non stop. Even bigger surprise to Deanna is that the one that's out to kill her is her own half brother, yes I was a bit mixed up with all this but Deanna and Lee was related by their half brother Shawn. Nate is even more protective then ever, he and Deanna is making new friends every time Deanna's near death incidents, first time she got beat up she meets a female kick ass Fiona, she becomes a part of the Gunn family for Ethan. Olivia and Quinn Glenn when Deanna was being run down by a car and Olivia got hit and miscarried, later at the hospital they met Quinn. Like I said it was a perfect ending to the first book with even more shockers but there was a good deal of happiness going on.

I really like the first book but this one was my favorite ,there's so much drama and I love it ,at one point I cried for Deanna she was a punching bag in this book ,poor her ,but finally the puzzle is finish and the man? mmmm sooo hot and alpha that's sexy as hell. good sex,sexy bikers,beautiful women ,lots of drama,romance,ugh all in one package that's what I love about books and this is one of those.Cheers

Again loved the characters. Deanna and Nate are so cute together. Loved the plot of this book and the writing was more chronologically put together. It didn't seem to run all over the place like the first. It also kept you on your seat because poor Deanna was a target every turn she went. Nate is such an awesome guy, definitely drool worthy.

Better written than first book.
More twists and turns in the ongoing threat to the h. Story was structured better so as not to make all the big alpha bikers and security specialists look incompetent...this time the bad guys had to work for it and scheme. No cliffhanger and everyone gets a HEA.

Good story but needs better editing
I enjoyed the story and it is worth reading. It needs better proofreading. I had a hard time determining what was slang vs poor grammar. The use of polis instead of police and countless other errors detracted from a good story.

What an amazing book! I just loved the excitement of the storyline. You were always on your toes not knowing what was coming next with Deanna. Nate is just fantastic. I love their relationship. Loved the conclusion at the end.

4.5 stars. I am totally in love with the McKnights From the President to the Prospect. Deanna, was my shero from book one to this book. This book, had me going crazy of being mad to rage of the things that kept happening to her. Her relationship with Nate, beautiful. Love it, Love it. Cheers..

I just loved Nate, he is so loving towards his wife and Holy. What a lovely love story (with lots of drama).
