This is the second book in a vampire romantasy duet. It has dark themes and emotional damage. You must read Those That Don't Exist first to understand what is going on in the story. this blurb does contain spoilers so feel free to skip back now and I'll see you when you're ready.
Aurora I thought losing my father was the worst thing I'd have to deal with this year. Now the male I love is dead because of my actions. If I'd trusted in him, and not fled, he'd still be alive. At least I'm getting some of what I deserve. I'm alone and in hiding from the vampire pack that will stop at nothing to get me back and force me into bonding to them. The only thing I can do is keep moving, and keep my final promise.
Ty She got out. She got away from my ex-pack leader and is hopefully somewhere safe. My chest feels hollow and my body craves to hunt her down, to ensure she stays out of their grasp. But I know that can't happen, I won't be escaping this basement twice.
Author's This book will conclude Ty and Aurora's story. But don't expect an easy ride. This one goes darker, deeper and is filled with more emotional angst. But, there's a lot of swoon-worthy moments too. A trigger warning list can be found in the front pages of this book or on my website.
“I’ve been yours since the moment I laid eyes on you. Consciously or not, I’ve belonged to you, body and soul. You brought me back to life. I was like a ghost, drifting through my existence and punishing myself for everything I’d lost. You made me want to live again, gave me reason to try. It would be my greatest honour to be your mate “ . ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁ ⟡ ݁ . ⊹ ₊ ݁. . ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁ ⟡ ݁ . ⊹ ₊ ݁. . ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁ ⟡ ݁ . ⊹ ₊ ݁. . ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁ ⟡ ݁ . ⊹ ₊ ݁. . ݁₊ ⊹

Not gonna lie I loved the first book’s pace more but the yearning in this book and the how the feelings of the main characters especially the FMC were portrayed made me love it . The traumatic events that FMC endured in the first book we their effect in her and how she struggled with what happened I loved how it was there throughout the book not like in the beginning and that’s it . The MMC was so sweet and loved the FMC so much she was like his sole purpose in life . I loved how they left each others . The side characters that appeared in the second book were great . Henry was great friend to them I definitely want know more about his past . Antares was super funny and adorable.
All in all I enjoyed this sequel and how everything ended.
⋆✴︎˚。⋆ Pre read ⋆✴︎˚。⋆ Thank you so much Elle Reid for sending me the e-ARC !!
I Loved the 1st book so excited to see what’s going to happen in this one !!
The 2nd book and it was everything I needed and more! I absolutely devoured this book. The relationships felt real and I related to Aurora whilst reading through this book. It was cathartic, thought provoking and really fun to read. Written so well that I did not see one of the major plot twists, and I'm usually very good at that! Yet another incredible book by the lovely Elle Reid. Highly recommend for all your shadow daddy, yearning and traumatised FMC loving readers!
I'm so grateful to have had this as an arc, I thoroughly enjoyed this book,
This picks up where book 1 leaves off, the way the characters trauma is shown from the start is quite refreshing especially towards see them come to terms with it and try and heal from it as well,
The struggles all the characters go through has you absolutely hooked to find out how they are going to get through them, there's so much going on in this book but it doesn't make you feel like its absolute chaos, its so well written all questions from book 1 are answered and any questions that arise in this book are answered by the end as well
The love and devotion between the fmc and mmc as well as their friends who become their family is beautifully represented, theres also mental health representation, disability representation as well as found family, even though theres a HEA theres so much more to this world that can be expanded on because of how diverse the characters/storyline are, I can't wait to see what else comes from this world,
If you like vampires, revenge, spice with a little bit of political intrigued this is definitely the deut for you
This is the epic sequel to ‘Those that don’t Exist’, which continues the story of our two main characters as they navigate through their trauma, escaping capture from the villains and having to rebuild, whilst also dealing with the prospect of them being fated mates.
So throughout my teenage reading years, you bet i pretty much read every supernatural werewolf/vampire/pack romance book, especially on Wattpad! This book provided me that same dose of tropes but in a mature well written way, which I have been on the look out for a while now (i still adore fantasy) but supernatural romance WILL ALWAYS have a special place in my heart 💓
I actually really enjoyed Elle’s style of writing as it cleverly used the information from the first novel to explore deeper in this part of the story and answered readers questions (about her parentage).
I really attached emotionally to both Aurora (Rory or her mates nickname for her ‘Red’ 😩💗) and Ty - their relationship progressed nicely throughout, and they learnt to understand each others boundaries without it being cringey or off putting as the whole trope of ‘mates’ goes. It was heart wrenching reading Aurora having to deal with her mental health and her actions as a result of the trauma she experienced but how using those around her for support in her own time and knowing her triggers was managed so well in the book, highlighting really good character growth.
Although the plot was definitely predictable when it came to the final battle/conclusion, i ABSOLUTELY ate this up ❤️🔥!
Excited to see where the next two books go within the hidden vampires book universe.
Overall: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 I’m certain to have Elle Reid has an auto author! Would recommend if you enjoy these tropes: - fated mates - past trauma - strong character development - supernatural romance - found family/pack - magical elements - shadow daddy vibes (mmc) - protective MMC and FMC - HEA - Spicy/mature content 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Thank you the Author for sending over an Advanced Readers Copy of this book. This review is fully my own honest thoughts, and is on behalf of The Spicy Sword Society.
⚠️ Reader-to-reader warning: Don’t pick this up if you’re not ready for emotional damage 😅 And definitely make sure you read Those That Don’t Exist first, or you’ll be completely lost.
First of all i wanna thank Elle Reid for trusting me with this Arc Read. I had to read book 1 first and was invested to continue book 2.
Those That Are Lost is the second book in Elle Reid’s Hidden Vampires series, and wow—it was dark, emotional, and full of angst in the best way.
Aurora’s journey broke my heart all over again. She’s grieving, running, and trying to keep her last promise while constantly looking over her shoulder. Ty’s POV was gut-wrenching too—trapped, hollow, but still desperate for her safety. The push and pull between despair and hope made this such an addictive read.
This book goes even darker than the first, so check those trigger warnings, but it also gives some really swoony moments that kept me rooting for Aurora and Ty. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the angst sometimes got so heavy that it slowed the pacing. But honestly, it’s part of what makes their story hit so hard.
✨ Favorite tropes you’ll find inside:
*Fated mates *Star-crossed love *Runaway heroine on the run *Captive hero *Dark, angsty romance *Survival against the odds
And the best part? This series isn’t over! Elle Reid has confirmed there will be a 3rd and 4th book coming in the Hidden Vampires world, and I can’t wait to see where the story goes next.
The continuation and conclusion of Ty and Aurora's story was perfect.
I thoroughly enjoyed this duet and definitely fell in love with the characters. I enjoyed the world building, the tension, the little plot surprises, and the writing style.
Aurora and Ty go through many trials both separately and together and come out victorious in the end.
Antares was one of my favorite side characters.
Overall, it is a well written and enjoyable novel.
If you think the first book in the duet is good!!!! You need to read the second!!! And I’m praying for a third. The way the two main characters pull through so many hardships and pain together in amazingly written. The passions I felt from the words was so real. The badass friendship formed and the family created in this book was intense and in my opinion won’t be forgotten. What incredible writing and I pray I doesn’t stop!!!!
✨ VIBE CHECK The Handmaid’s Tale meets True Blood with a side of Angel
⭐ RATING Overall Rating (1-5): ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Spice Level (1-5): 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Emotional Damage (1-5): ❤️🩹❤️🩹 (The reason it's lower than in book one will be explained below) Pacing: Perfect! This book picks up perfectly from where the first left off and I was so excited to dig in Writing Style: Contemporary Main Characters: FMC - Aurora, MMC - Ty
📖 SUMMARY (NO SPOILERS) She’s a vampire and she’s alone. No Ty, no one to help. Lost and on the run. She also has no idea that they are looking for her…that HE is searching and will never stop until they are together again.
💭 REVIEW THOUGHTS I blame (AKA credit) BookTok for bringing Elle Reid’s writing into my world. I started with the first in the Hidden Vampire duet - Those That Do Not Exist. It was AMAZING! So obviously I was not going to miss an opportunity to sign up for an ARC read for the second in the Hidden Vampires Duet (book generously shared by the author, opinions 100% my own). So here we are again - not on our own this time though! My heart was hurting so much at the end of the first book that there was nowhere else for me to go - but up, right? NOPE! Down, down, down I went. Holding on whilst Aurora begins to travel her new road as a vampire alone hits a nerve, and it’s one I’m sure many of us share. The idea of being different is difficult, the idea of being different and utterly alone is devastating. Combine this with the loss of Ty and a heartbreak so deep it threatens to pull our FMC under? UGGH, it hurt just thinking about it. Unit, it didn’t! (Semi-Spoiler ahead) * * * * The moment Ty and Aurora are reunited was so amazing. I felt a huge sense of relief, and yet it was not a rush back into one another. I will be honest - this is, to me, where I think Elle Reid’s writing shines. She managed to take a medium-burn romance in her first book to a boil, and then brought it back down to a simmer again in this second installment, just to start turning up the heat again! That’s not something you find every day. This book also gave me the found family vibes that I love to find. It introduced new characters (such as wolf-shifters) that gave the world a more three-dimensional feel. There was such tension and yearning, not just between the FMC and MMC, but between all of the characters. There was a need that drove them that feels all too "human"; the need to belong and create a place they could call home. I believed in what the characters grew into and I walked away from the book feeling everything was as it should be. I 100% suggest you pick this up!!!
🔮 FAVORITE ELEMENTS Favorite character(s): Honestly, I loved the entire Wolf-Shifter pack. They gave the found family vibes I absolutely eat up! Best trope moment: Fated Mates/Bonding Book boyfriend ranking (scale of 1-5🥵): 🥵🥵🥵 Audiobook note (if applicable): N/A
The first 35% of this book shattered me—in the best way. The emotional aftermath of book one’s trauma is raw and beautifully written, filled with angst, tension, and a slow-burning journey toward healing. Watching Aurora and Ty navigate their pain and rediscover trust was deeply moving. I often felt heartache for Ty, but Aurora’s hesitation made sense given her past. Their dynamic was beautifully layered.
I was thrilled to finally get answers about Aurora’s parents and her transformation into a vampire.
Their time with the wolf pack felt like a sanctuary—where laughter softened the edges of pain, and healing happened in the quiet moments between chaos. The humor gave them space to breathe, and the pack’s unwavering support helped them rediscover parts of themselves they thought were lost.
And when Ty and Aurora finally came together? The heartbreak made the connection feel earned, like they’d fought through shadows to find each other again.
The final battle gave me serious Twilight: Breaking Dawn energy—with vampires and werewolves uniting in a thrilling showdown. As a die-hard Twilight fan (yes, I’ve read the books five times and watched the movies countless more 😉🤭), this moment hit all the right nostalgic notes.
We’re introduced to some unforgettable new characters, Henry, the 6’5 gentle giant, who quickly becomes a cherished friend to Aurora and Anteras, dubbed “the pest,” is misunderstood due to his lineage—but I absolutely adored him. He brought complexity and charm to every scene.
I’m crossing my fingers for books featuring Andreas and Atlas—they deserve their own spotlight. And I couldn’t help but hope for a spark between Claire and Henry… just maybe?
Minor gripe: the repeated use of “female” and “male” felt a bit of, but didn’t detract from the overall impact.
This duet is a must-read for fans of:
• Vampires & fae/demi-fae • Stalking & kidnapping tropes • Past and current trauma • Strangers to lovers • Mates • Strong fmc • Obsessed mmc •Shadow daddy
Highly recommended for anyone craving a dark, emotional, and spicy fantasy romance with unforgettable characters and a plot that keeps you hooked.
Thank you Wings & Words ARC community and Elle Reid for the opportunity to read this book early.
In the exhilarating conclusion of Ty and Aurora's story, “Those That Are Lost,” Elle Reid plunges us into a darker, more intense world filled with emotional turmoil, danger, and moments that will leave you breathless.
This second installment of the Hidden Vampires duet boldly explores the depths of despair while balancing swoon-worthy moments that i have come to love.
From the very beginning, the stakes are raised, and the sense of impending doom looms large. Aurora's journey takes a harrowing turn as she finds herself trapped in a basement, grappling with the weight of her past choices and the consequences they've wrought.
Ty’s unwavering determination to find and protect Aurora shines throughout this story. His conflicted emotions just added to this book, he reveals a blend of fierce love and desperation, his struggle between wanting to comfort Aurora and acknowledging the harsh realities of their situation had me almost throwing my kindle across the room!
The chemistry between Ty and Aurora crackles off the page, especially in the tension filled moments that keep us invested in their reunion. 🤐 Their connection deepens amidst the turmoil, showcasing how love can blossom even in the most challenging circumstances. The author infuses humor and passion into their interactions, ensuring that we are kept firmly in this world.
The plot is filled with unexpected twists and gripping action, pulling us deeper into the world the author has created. As the characters face unspeakable challenges, the emotional stakes are higher than ever, driving them to confront their pasts and make difficult choices about their futures.
“Those That Are Lost” is not just a conclusion; it’s an exhilarating ride filled with heartache, growth, and moments that will make your heart soar.
Prepare yourself for an emotional rollercoaster, one that doesn’t shy away from the darkness but balances it with the light of love.
Whether you're a fan of vampire romance or simply crave a story that tugs at your heartstrings, this book is an unforgettable finale.
I do recommend you read the trigger warnings and also read book the first book Those that Don’t Exist to get the best feels for this series.
Aurora worst ever her dad died and now the man she loved is dead because of her actions. She should have trusted him, if she would of, he would be alive is what she believes. Now she is alone in hiding, hiding from the vampire pact, wait she’s a vampire as well. She really screwed up and has no one to comfort her or help so she believes.
Ty he is glad she got out, he craves to find her to keep her out of the pact grasp, however he can’t help her as he has been locked up in a basement for the 2nd time. Hopefully he doesn’t get a 3rd time.
There is so much emotional growth in this journey these two characters face. Strong characters found family and friendships created throughout the book helped them grow.
The first part of this story will break you however Elle did a fabulous job writing regarding trauma and emotional damage to the healing of the FMC, we are all capable of growth and change.
I can talk about the story line but I don’t want to give away anything, however you will get everything in this read, plot twists that you will not see coming, spice with slow burn, action and some new characters, ohhhh 3rd book.
Thank you for the opportunity to be an Arc Reader again!
One thing first... Everyone who hasn't read book 1 of this duet yet, you are lucky. You can binge-read both books. It's not that there was a long time between publishing both books, but still it took me a few chapters to get back into it 🙈 But not too long. And as I said, it wasn't really long of a wait, but I was so excited to read book 2 after that cliffhanger of book 1 😱
And WOW. What a rollercoaster. Of everything. I felt so strong with Aurora. She is so traumatized after what happened in the last 2 years. The car accident that ☠️ her dad. Her being in a coma. And everything that happened after that 🥺 And then there is Ty, who wants to help her and can't 😭 It's so heartbreaking 💔 They are so perfect for each other 🩷
But there are also funny scenes. My absolute favorite is the "sleepover" scene 🤣🤣🤣 OMG, I had it in full pictures before me 🙈
Yes, this duet is a dark romance with nearly everything possible 😎 But if you love dark romance. If you love vampires and all the paranormal things... Then this duet is a must-read for you. It's so good 🤩
I can't wait to read more books by Elle 🤩
Thanks to the author for trusting me with an ARC 🩷
Book one was a good read, and this is a fantastic second and concluding book in the Hidden Vampires duology.
With greater character development, I felt far more immersed in this novel, making it much easier to buy into their personalities.
With Rory’s transition to a vampire now complete, she is facing a new world, without her friends, without Ty and without any knowledge of how to live as a vampire. All while trying to avoid detection from the vampire that would have her as his mate, regardless of whether she is willing.
The first thirty to forty percent of this book, tore my heart out. The journey that Rory travels, the thoughts she is having, the extent of blame she so readily accepts upon her shoulders was crushing.
As with book one, Those That Are Lost gave me strong Twilight vibes, more specifically New Moon and Breaking Dawn.
With this instalment in the duology, we see new characters, including a wolf pack, and the return of some familiar ones, which gave the book a greater depth.
I read this book in almost one sitting, not wanting to put it down for anything longer than a few minutes. It is very noticeable just how far Elle Reid’s writing maturity has come since writing book one.
I really look forward to reading Elle’s future releases.
If you love all things vampires, romance and fantasy then you will love Elle Reid’s new release ‘Those That Are Lost’.
You definitely need to read the first book to be able to follow this one which is why I’m a bit late posting my review but it was worth it.
I haven’t read books involving vampires, fae and anything like that for a while so it did take me a bit longer to get into the story.
When I did though I really enjoyed it. It had a perfect mix of romance and violence in the story and included a forbidden love that consumes you. You can’t help but fall in love with Ty and Aurora’s story. I would happily accept Ty’s broody, dark, sexy attitude and when he starts out as Aurora’s stalker it draws you into a world of chaos and excitement that turns everything upside down.
You meet some funny, interesting characters along the way and though the ending is finished perfectly I’m really hoping that Elle carries on with the other characters stories as there is definitely more to discover.
I was lucky enough to be an ARC reader of this book and here is my review, there might be a few spoilers for book one... Just like book 1 in the hidden vampires duology this book was an absolute page turner! In book 1 we meet our FMC Aurora (Rory/Red) and our MMC Ty. I enjoyed most the different law around how vampires are turned or created which we learned in book 1. Book 2 picks up 4 months after Aurora escaped the vampire pack that tried to force her into a mate bond. She is struggling with PTSD and grief as she believes Ty is dead. We meet Ty's long term best friend, who happens to be Aurora's favourite author and the seek shelter and food with a pack who Ty knew from a young age to regroup and come up with a plan so that they can stop running.
This duology is filled with banter which I absolutely loved and kept me turning the pages as the characters begin to feel like your friends.
Those That Are Lost is the second instalment in the Hidden Vampires duet, and it hits just as hard! Before you start, ensure that you read Book One, 'Those That Don't Exist' but make sure you check your triggers.
This story follows Aurora a few months after her escape. But how is she coping knowing that the love of her life is still stuck in that horrible cell, or worse, dead? Can she keep her promise and live, or will the pack she is running from catch her and come through on their word to force her into a mating bond? Only time will tell.
With longong, romance and emotional angst, this deep dive into Aurora and Ty will grip you from start to finish. So strap in, as it is not going to be plain sailing.
I loved this book and definitely need the physical for my trophy collection :)
This is the second book in the hidden vampire series. Reading the first is non Negotiable or you’ll be completely lost. (See what I did there?) We start this book 4 months after the end of those that don’t exist. The FMC Rory is in a very bad place mentally. Rory is Recently turned into a vampire and on the run from book ones bad guys, you can feel instantly from Elle Reids writing how much pain Rory is in. This book has a very strong mental health undercurrent throughout which, while slightly difficult to read at times, is dealt with beautifully and sensitively. As always please take the time to check your trigger warnings! I blasted through this book in a day. the writing flows so well and lures you through Ty and Rory’s journey back to each other. I loved this book and can’t wait to read more by Elle Reid 💜
❤️ I received an advanced review copy for free and I’m leaving this review voluntarily ❤️
I love fated mate stories with found family vibes and this one is dark and angsty so it's even better. Aurora has so much trauma and her story is so heartbreaking. She is on the run and adapting to being a vampire. She is on a lonely and devastatingly tense journey, it just so sad and you just want to hug her and tell her she is not alone.
Ty is searching for Aurora and will stop at nothing to find her. It was such a moment when they did finally reunite and while you might expect some instant rush to be with each other, it doesn't happen that way, but it also makes it feel so much more natural.
The side characters are also exceptional and you are in some way growing along with all the characters. This book gives you so many different feelings that it feels like a life time because we all also deal with these emotions.
Thank you so much to Elle Reid for trusting me with this book. It was such a great read!
I thoroughly enjoyed the ending of this story. I felt like it was very much needed. I loved the way that her depression and her PTSD and stuff were shown it felt very realistic. And I love that in the end, she was able to get some healing. I appreciated that the first half really focused on the healing because I feel like a lot of times when you're reading a story that has traumatic experiences, sometimes they just get washed over, and that wasn't done here. There was very much healing that needed to happen before anyone could move forward. And I really felt like that was well done. I really enjoyed Ty and Red's story. I feel like they are a beautiful couple and so well-suited for each other. I'm very interested in Henry and Claire, and maybe um. Ash… we shall see. I love Atlas and Antares, and I really look forward to seeing more from these characters, and I can't wait for the next one
Those That Are Lost - ARC review ⭐️ Overcoming trauma ⭐️ Vampires ⭐️ Fae and wolves ⭐️ Hidden identity ⭐️ Fated mates ⭐️ HEA
Prepare yourself for an emotional ride. I thoroughly enjoyed diving back into Ty and Aurora's world. The book continually surprised me and I really enjoyed the direction Elle took this in. We start the book 4 months after the end of Those That Don't Exist and you can feel the raw depth of Aurora's heartbreak and emotional turmoil after fleeing. The topics are handled so well and I felt Aurora's panic attacks and depressive episodes were both realistic and relatable. Like I said - emotional! Elle also covers disability as well as mental health and although briefer in topic it is still well written and worthy of inclusion.
Throughout the rest of the book there is action, yearning, exciting new characters (hello Antares), spice, a hot shadow daddy, twists and turns AND tension.
4.5 stars from me, would absolutely recommend this duet and hope to see more from Elle in the future.
This was a great second half to this duet. The idea of vampires secretly not being extinct has always intrigued me, and Elle writes this world really well. I also like how the vampires and shifters work together (instead of being enemies like in a lot of media nowadays). It’s reminiscent of old vampire lore, which is always nice to see.
Aurora’s anxiety hit home for me, and her PTSD was heartbreaking at times. I love how, even though she feels like she’s breaking inside, she still manages to harness those feelings to strengthen her magic and develop some very cool/useful new glamour abilities.
She’s a strong woman, but even the strongest people need a little help sometimes, and that’s okay. Luckily Aurora has some wonderful friends and allies around to help her out, or nudge her in the right direction when she’s being stubborn (even if she doesn’t think she needs it).
It was so hard to write this without spoilers, but if you read the first book, you probably don’t need a review to convince you to read the second. So what are you waiting for? Get to reading!
Thanks very much to Elle and Wings & Words for this read! 💙
I actually enjoyed this one more than the first book! The addition of the werewolves was such a fun layer — I really liked seeing the pack dynamics and how they worked together. The new side characters were also a highlight, each adding more depth and variety to the story.
One thing I really appreciated was the OCD/intrusive thoughts representation. It felt meaningful and added another dimension to the character that grounded the fantasy elements with real human struggles.
That said, I did wish for a bit more at key points: the beginning could have shown more of Ty’s escape and Rory’s journey, and the final battle, while good, could have carried higher stakes and tension to really pack a punch.
Still, the romance was enjoyable, and the overall tone brought me back to my Wattpad-reading days — in the best way possible. Fast, fun, and heartfelt, this installment kept me hooked and left me excited for more.
Where do I begin, this book began soon after those that don’t exist finished, and I was sucked straight back in. Auroras struggles with her mental well being were amazingly written, as someone recovering I found it beautifully portrayed. The world building was wonderful and the new characters we meet had me smiling and laughing, especially the wolves. The plot flowed well throughout and I felt the tension and the worry. The major twist at the end blew me away, and the way the book ended was quite open ended, so I’m hoping we get more from the pack and/or other characters, as there’s still one question in my mind that’s been left unanswered, even though this duet is concluded.
Finally thank you to Elle Reid for sending me an eArc for my thoughts and honest review.
This is the second book in the duet, and I was curious where the story would take us. Those that don’t exist left us off with Aurora escaping and Ty getting imprisoned. Personally, I’d have liked it if we got more of those initial moments. Or if we had gotten flashbacks to Ty’s time being held captive. (Yes, I like to hurt myself)
The book starts with a pretty heavy moment where Aurora is consumed with guilt, and not too long after, Ty finds his way back to her. I loved how committed and consumed he was by her. It’s simply how I love my fictional men. Their journey to becoming mates and then fighting back is written well, and I enjoyed getting to know all the other characters that were introduced in this book.
This book follows the cliffhanger at the end of book one, you will need to have read those that don’t exist to understand this book!
The characters and the story are really well written and the book really draws you in.
Aurora and Ty find their way back to each other after thinking Ty was dead and suffering from the effects of the mating bond she was given from the vampires.
This is a vampire dark romance book with a little bit of spice 🌶️ If you like vampires, fae, mates, strangers to lovers, shadow daddy’s than this book is for you! I can’t wait to see where this series goes and hopefully we get books from the other characters 🙊
Those That Are Lost is the second book in the Hidden Vampire's series, and it was everything I wanted it to be!! I couldn’t put it down. From start to finish, I was completely hooked!
The writing was soo good, and the struggles some of the characters go through were written so well. I really felt for them! I loved seeing old characters return and getting to meet new ones!! And the plot twists? I did not see some of them coming at all hahah.
I can’t recommend this series enough!! If you liked the first book, you’re going to be eat this one up!
After loving Book 1, I was eager to see where Elle Reid would take us next — and Those That Are Lost did not disappoint. This sequel expands the world beautifully, weaving in new characters and unexpected twists that kept me hooked throughout.
The bond between Ty and Aurora is the absolute heart of this book. Ty’s commitment and devotion to her is just swoon-worthy, the kind of love that makes you melt. Their chemistry is equal parts intense and tender, and I couldn’t get enough.
The side characters also completely stole my heart — especially Antares, who brought so much depth and intrigue, and Henry, who added a layer of charm to the story. Together, they made the cast feel even richer.
Was definitely routing for Auroa & Ty in this story & loved meeting more of their friends especially Henry & Antares I thought these guys were awesome
I felt like the pace in this book was a little smoother & overall felt like the author managed to give the story a clear flow as to what she wanted the readers to know while taking them on the journey to its natural conclusion
I'm actually gutted that this is a duet & therefore has concluded the story of Auroa & Ty - my hope is that this series continues but maybe form other characters POVs so we still get to catch up with the characters we have grown to love
Definitely would recommend to any supernatural reading fan xxxxx
Loved this book; I couldn't put it down! It follows the first book seamlessly and is very well paced. It took its time on the emotional journey, so you could feel the characters' growth and dived right into the action when needed. Some brilliant spicy scenes were well placed within the story. It was action-packed where it needed to be and ended in the perfect place. I hope there are more books in the series, as I loved the characters so much. #Book #Reading #Characters #Action #Scenes #Journey #Series
book 1 was so good. but book 2. omg. I adore aurora and ty. although i did enjoy the side characters in this book alot more than book 1!!
Henry being my favourite side character! the fighting scene gave me breaking dawn part 1 vibes with wolves and vamps fighting side by side. im a huge twilight nerd so this made me even more happy!
I hope this isnt the end of auroa and ty's story! cannot wait to see what book 3 & 4 bring!
thanks to Beth from wings & words and of course elle for the opportunity to read both books !!!!
