Did Not Finish
April 14, 2026I really tried to keep reading this, but around the 100 page mark I decided to put it down. the narration is really robotic, the characters speak so plainly it’s painful to read. I just can’t imagine that I’ll feel invested in another 100 pages.

It is difficult to rate a book with only one star, but I feel like I just read my first AI-generated novel. The dialogue felt stilted and formulaic, as if the writer was disconnected from the characters as well as the setting.
