Hiddenverse #5

Rate this book
Social norms are the bane of my existence. The moment I presented as an omega, I rejected it. I’m not soft or gentle. Or willing to submit to the first alpha who thinks they can tame me.

I want to live my life.

Without the chains society wants to cast on me.

That’s why Roller Derby is my everything! On the rink, I’m only Jinx. Willow Delong, omega, doesn’t exist. Hell, my teammates don't even know my real name. Or care that I’m an omega at all.

But my stalker doesn’t care about boundaries.

Finn Reed sees me through the lens of his camera—too much, too clearly, too obsessively. He follows my every move, leaving little reminders that he’s always watching. And now, my father has decided the only way to keep me safe is to assign me bodyguards.

Carson, Hunter, and Graham. Elite alphas trained to protect people who actually matter. Not stubborn, reckless omegas who refuse to play by the rules. They think I need a cage wrapped in safety and sweet words.

I don’t.

I can handle Finn. I can handle them.

But I don’t know if I can handle him.

Because Landon’s back. The one who broke my heart. The one I tried to forget. The one I let bite me once.

Now, I’m fighting battles on all fronts—against the alphas who think they know what’s best, the stalker who won’t let me go, and the past that just walked back into my life.

I refuse to break.

Not today.

Another interesting story, a second from this author. It was a little slow to pick up, but considering the angst and tension, quite understandable. The three sub plot lines kept my attention well : we have an ex who came back groveling, a stalker who was a know it all weirdo in the most entertaining way possible and three guards who made Willow's life quite complicated and even more crowded.
I enjoyed the reading experience completely and the whole roller coaster of emotions around forming such a misfit, difficult to synchronize pack.

Mess.

**SPOILERS**

Willow is a roller derby champ with a stalker. Her father hires her alpha bodyguards because her stalker is obsessed. She also just so happens to have an a-hole ex with commitment issues that wants back into the picture.

**THOUGHTS/SPOILERS**

I thought this might be a fun exciting omegaverse after reading the synopsis…boy was a wrong. It was a hot potato mess! I’m not sure how it got so many high star reviews…the other readers and I must have read different books, because this book was a just one big wreck. First, Willow was an okay character in the beginning, an omega who wanted freedom so she shook off her socialite upbringing and joined roller derby. She has a stalker who is obsessed with her so her millionaire daddy hires her alpha bodyguards. Her bodyguards are definitely more than interested in just protecting her, and I was excited to see them form a pack with her. But that’s where the story goes from fun exciting omegaverse to WTH?! The stalker is crazy, and not a good crazy, a loony toon crazy…and Willow LIKES IT! She actually is in lust with her stalker. It’s creepy and frankly disturbing. Then you have her ex who is her scent match that bit her, cheated on her and then LEFT HER! He comes crawling back AFTER their bond fades and he feels her agonizing pain. Frankly he’s an ass, and no amount of groveling was going to redeem him in my opinion. The fact that her alpha bodyguards start off protecting her from her stalker, but then BECOME SEXUALLY INVOLVED with him as well is just twisted, weird, and yuck. There was no mystery, no thrill, no clear “bad guy,” not with both Willow and her bodyguards wanting to f*ck the stalker left and right. I had been looking forward to a book where Willow recovers from heartbreak and form a pack with her hot bodyguards, not a book where Willow ends up with her cheating a-hole ex, her crazy bisexual stalker, and her clearly crazy (heck they want to f*ck the stalker too, they’re nuts) bodyguards. This was a VERY disappointing omegaverse.

Infantalized Omega and Finn deserved better

The *only* reason I finished this book was to see what happened with Finn. Frankly, he deserved an Omega and alphas that fought for him, instead of a wishy-washy Omega and indifferent/obstructive alphas. For 82% of the book, Willow is solely building her relationship with Hunter, Graham, and Carson. Instead of her making the decisions about her mates, she’s afraid to ask for what she wants and lets them dictate her relationships. They take away her phone and lock her in her room, but it’s for her own good. Eww. She should have used Daisy’s phone at roller derby to call her dad, not pout. Even escaping to Finn didn’t change anything. Willow was a hopeless and helpless omega. Hunter, Graham, and Carson are written borderline abusive - Willow is even timed on a grocery run - and over the top possessive. She had no autonomy. And how would she not already have security with her father’s wealth? Daisy’s friendship and banter with Willow were the only positive traits about Willow, and all we know about Willow is that she liked one night stands prior to Landon, is obsessed with roller derby, and a millionaire dad. She was a character sketch.

Finn, the stalker, is the only one who is completely okay with his feelings from the start. He’s loyal and emotionally open and honest, but has to wait until Willow feels “whole” with her pack of alphaholes for her to remember he exists. He should have just found someone who could return his affection, rather than wait for the emotionally constipated Willow to remember him. The alpha trio have a discussion about letting her choose her mates then micromanage her and prevent her from having time with Finn by herself, despite only Carson actually speaking with Finn. And when we finally get purposeful romance from Willow toward Finn at 87% through the book, he doesn’t even get one-on-one. And we don’t get any other information about him. How is affording his stalker lifestyle? Even with those plot holes, he was still a better character than the interchangeable Graham and Hunter. Finn had more to offer than 2D stalker, and he should have been fleshed out.

Landon’s arc was understandably the longest, but the whole situation is baffling. She doesn’t forgive him for kissing another Omega after they got together, but accepts him sleeping with another girl after they scent matched after telling her he didn’t want their relationship? WTH. Messy. And he showed a lot of growth, and Willow showed some growth and whatever. Even he didn’t get one-on-one with Willow. Same issues with Landon. How is he affording staying in NYC for so many weeks? What does he do? Surely he has a hobby other than basking in emotional angst and waving red flags.

I love me a good RH/Omegaverse story line and A.J. Moran did not disappoint.

The story of Willow and her pack is full of twists, turns, angst, spice, love, and devotion… and some borderline obsession. But the devotion and love we see that stems from their story is all consuming and will make you wish for love and devotion like that.

Willow is your strong willed, Omega FMC. She does not follow the typical Omega nature of wanting to find a pack, settle down and have pups. She wants to live her own life, doing what she wants without anyone telling her how to live her life and how.

We meet the first 3 men of her eventual pack early on. Graham, Carson and Hunter are your typical MMC Alpha men who want to protect and take care of her. First hired to protect her, they quickly realize she is more than a job… she is their future, they just have to make her realize it.

The devotion, love, need to care for and protect Willow we see from these three is off the charts. They want her, regardless of the fact she is strong willed and doesn’t realize she needs or wants them back.

Then we meet Finn… the reason Graham, Carson, and Hunter have been brought into Willows life. To say he is obsessed is an understatement. He is truly obsessed with her and stalks her 24/7. However, he sees her. Truly sees her. He sees what she wants and needs even before she sees it herself. And she sees him. She sees past the person the others see. She sees his true self, his need to belong, his need for love, for a pack.

And last, but not least we see Landon. He is the one person who should have never hurt Willow but almost destroyed her. He is her past, her scent match but he is also her future. It just takes them a while to realize it.

The dynamics of this pack evolves so much throughout this story. This pack should not work… three Alpha protector men, one Beta who borderlines obsessive, and an Alpha who ran but realized he made a mistake.

The way A.J. brings this pack together… I really did not think that the dynamics would work, but it does and in the end they all find exactly what they needed… a family!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Willow refuses to be defined by her Omega designation and I loved her fierceness, stubbornness, and glorious defiance, as she finds her freedom where the rules don’t apply: on the roller derby rink. Out there, she’s not Willow-the-Omega; she’s Jinx, the fearless jammer, who couldn’t care less about society’s expectations. No one cares about who or what she is. Well, perhaps with the exception of her stalker. However, Finn is not your typical lurker in the shadows. He’s always there on the periphery, with his camera lens focused on his obsession. He’s absolutely relentless in his devotion to Willow. Yet, as unnerving as he is, Willow feels a strange, undeniable connection between them, though everyone else feels he is dangerous. When her father learns of her stalker, he doesn’t take any chances and hires three maddeningly overprotective bodyguards. Carson, Graham, and Hunter are Alphas through and through—dominant, bossy, and infuriatingly determined to take over every part of Willow’s life. Their protective streak borders on suffocating, but you can’t help but fall for their loyalty and devotion. Willow might not want a pack, but the chemistry between them all is impossible to ignore. However, just when think things couldn’t get more complicated, in walks Landon, the ex who bit her, cheated, and then bolted, breaking Willow’s heart. Honestly, why anyone would forgive that guy is beyond me… though I’ll admit, his groveling game was strong. Against all odds, this chaotic group of people—exes, Alphas, stalker and all—somehow find a way to become a cohesive pack. Talk about a full house! This story is a wild mix of humor, heat, and heartfelt moments. Between the sharp banter, the unexpected tenderness, and the strong theme of found family, it’s impossible not to get swept up. The concept of belonging shines, both in Willow’s pack and on her roller derby team, reminding us that family isn’t always born; sometimes, it’s built through blood, sweat, and loyalty.

This book was everything I wanted and more. The FMC is the exact kind of snarky and sassy that I love. All of the MMCs had distinctive personalities, and none of them felt like carbon copies of one another. There was just enough tension to make it engaging amd engrossing, without making it feel overwhelming. Seeing the security guys fall for Jinx one by one and coming to the realization that's what was happening, was so satisfying.

Moving on to Finn. I loved all of the interactions with him, and the few chapters from his POV. Everyone other than Jinx was SO sure that he was out to harm her, and did everything in their power to try to protect her from him, despite Jinx's best efforts to try to meet up with him regardless. I'm not going to say more than that, as to not spoil what happens.

And then amidst all the other drama happening, Jinx's ex shows back up. They had bonded in the prequel novel, and then he took off. It took a traumatic event for him to show back up. There's some pretty epic groveling that happens on his part, and it had me internally kicking my feet in glee. I always love a good grovel.

If you like sweet omegaverse stories, I absolutely recommend adding this one to your list. This is the second book I've read by this author, and I've absolutely loved both of them, and I will definitely be reading more in the future!

Heartache and hope

Loved this book. Willow had a lot to learn about herself. A spoiled omega who wants to do things her own way meets three alphas who clip her wings in the name of protection. One broken promise that almost destroys her from her scent match who panicked and broke her heart. An obsessed stalker who loves her . They were drawn to each other in ways only they could understand. He had been severely abused as a child . His parents thought he was worthless,so they abandoned him. Where the world thought him to be a dangerous psychopath, Willow saw someone worth redeeming. Through opening hearts and minds a pack was formed for Willow and all five men who loved her. A family was founded on love and respect. This story will creep into your heart and you will find yourself pulling for Finn and Landon . Carson, Hunter and Graham were drawn to Willow from the beginning when her stubborn attitude and refusal to bow to their rules. She did not want any bodyguards trying to tell her what to do. Her father saw Finn as a threat whereas Willow knew he would not harm her even though he seemed a little unhinged. Feelings and temptations war against each other. Past hurts have to be worked through so a future can take place. The characters will remain in your mind long after you have read the story.

This extra long story is sextuple POV but primarily female omega lead (Willow), well written, and an emotional, relationship development focused, reverse harem, contemporary omegaverse romance, with a three male bodyguard alpha pack (Graham, Hunter, and Carson), a male beta stalker (Finn), and a male scent matched alpha hoping for a second chance (Landon). I enjoyed that the author took the time to explore the characters’ feelings and motivations. I enjoyed Willow’s determination to be more than a stereotypical omega. I enjoyed personality distinction and balance between Graham, Hunter, and Carson. I appreciated Finn’s focus that was still open to sharing and belonging; I empathised with his historical trauma. I appreciated Landon’s targeted and appropriate grovel. I found the intimate moments explicitly built into the relationship development, though not as explicit as other stories in this genre. This story is four stars for me because I found the pack too big, though I understand why it was (I have learned from this that I prefer a smaller pack). If you like a relationship focused reverse harem omegaverse romance with a larger pack, this story is a great read.

I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.

Okay, let’s start with the good: a roller-derby-playing omega with a spine of steel? Yes, please. Jinx (aka Willow) is fierce, messy, and gloriously defiant of every mold society tries to stuff her into. The rink scenes are sharp and adrenaline-pumping, and I loved how the team didn’t give a single care about her status. Total queen energy there.

But oh boy, this story is crowded. We’ve got the stalker, the bodyguards, three elite alphas who are equal parts protective and infuriating, and Landon, the heartbreak alpha returning from the shadows. It’s a lot to juggle, and sometimes the emotional beats get lost in the chaos. I found myself wishing we’d spent more time with Jinx actually skating or bonding with her team instead of diving into the endless tangle of alpha drama.

Still, it’s hard not to root for Jinx. She’s snarky, bold, and a total firecracker, even when life keeps throwing curveballs (and unwanted alphas) her way. This book is like a roller derby match itself, fast, intense, and a little bruising but you can’t deny the rush.

If you love your heroines gritty and your alphas complicated, you’ll probably have a blast. Me? I had fun, but I needed a breather halfway through.

WOW! What a rollercoaster ride! First, I just had to venture back to read the prequel novella for Landon and Willow and I'm so glad that I did! Despite his mistakes, I really loved Landon from the first book, heartbreaker and all. This read had fantastic world building! It's not often that you find an omegaverse book that shows a packs growth and the adding of members. I loved watching this pack build to be everything that Willow needed. I wasn't sure about Finn and how dangerous he was but I'm happy that even he found a place because he just needed to be loved as well. This may have been the most frustratingly stubborn omega that I've ever read. If she were in any real danger, then what? lol Graham, Carson and Hunter were exactly what Willow needed at a time when she lost all hope. This pack became a mixture of the perfect storm that led Willow to where she needed to be to find love with all five men. It was complicated, twisted hilarious and very hot to read. It was also beautiful watching these men transform themselves and their pack just to be with her. There were so many aspects to this book, but it all came together wonderfully in the end and I'm happy that they all received their HEA.

This was a sweet little read, but whew—color me a bit disappointed. Let me start with a confession: I’m a dark romance girlie through and through. So, when I crack open a “stalker” book, I want a STALKER. Like, give me Josh from Lights Out levels of unhinged, or Joe from You with that deliciously dangerous edge. Finn? He leaned obsessive, sure, but he never crossed into that shadowy, goosebump-inducing territory I was craving.

And honestly, this book did not need to be this long. Too many chapters felt like filler—cute, but they could’ve been tightened without losing the story’s heart.

Now, the Alphas? Adorable. Their personalities sparkled, and Carson stole the whole show for me. I love an Alpha with a chaos button, and he delivered.

The cherry on top? Roller derby. Having grown up in Texas, that sport is near and dear to me, and the way it was woven in gave me a little thrill.

All in all, this one is a light, fun, sunshine-on-your-skin beach read. Not the darkness I was hoping for, but charming in its own right.

Knot Today is the fifth book in the Hiddenverse series written by A. J. Moran.

💜 roller derby
💜 scent match
💜 body guards
💜 stalker
💜 past hurts
💜 🌶🌶🌶🌶 spicy spice

Willow loves roller derby with her girls. Here she’s Jinx and no one else. They don’t know her background and they don’t care. They know she came home hurting and they were there with her through it. Now she was repaying them playing like she never played before, except she gets distracted by a flash. Finn taking pictures as usual. Normally she can ignore the flash, but todays different. Her teammates give her a hard time, saying he’s a stalker. Is he one? Does she have a stalker? What about this bite on her neck? Will it fade finally? Will her heart mend with the fade?

I’m so glad that we finally got this story. I’ve been waiting for it since I read her novella. There were so many twists and turns to it. I love how we get cameos from characters from previous books as well. I really liked how not everything was straightforward and she did what she felt like was the right thing to do. This was another great addition to this world. I can’t wait to see if there are more stories that come out in the Hiddenverse world.

Thoughts:
This was such a sweet and romantic love story between an Omega and her men. I loved the themes of building a foundation family, showing up to show your love and redemption despite mistakes. The derby scenes were neat and added some tension and fun to the story. You’ll love all the Alphas and even the beta that follows her everywhere. The BD$M is very light, with mostly some dominance and a few restraints. On the whole, this was a wonderful novel.

This is another fantastic read from this author!

The story took a direction that completely surprised me when I first started reading. Willow has a stalker, and things have escalated to the point where her father hires bodyguards to keep her safe.

Throughout this book, Willow experiences significant growth. At first, she appears spoiled and used to getting her own way, but it’s rewarding to see her develop as a character.

Her bodyguards, Carson, Graham, and Hunter, certainly had their work cut out for them.

Finn, Willow's stalker, was by far my favorite character. Although he stalked her, he also worshipped the ground she walked on, and his backstory is heartbreaking.

This book is filled with banter, humor, and themes of redemption and found family. The concept of found family is explored not only within the pack but also within Willow’s roller derby team, where everyone supports each other no matter what.

I went back and forth between giving this book a 3 or 4 star rating. I ultimately went with 4 because I enjoyed the characters and for the most part I enjoyed the story.

I knocked off a star because the plot felt overdone. There was too much going on between the body guards, the stalker situation, & the ex. I feel like this book would have been so much better if it focused on either the stalker or the ex.

Having both plot points doesn't give readers much time with those characters. I felt like I didnt really get to know Finn or Landon as characters. They felt like they were thrown in last minute.

There were also several parts that felt repetitive. Not a lot but enough to notice.

Overall, the story is good. The relationship between Willow and her guards is really enjoyable and I love all three or those characters.

Knot Today circles us back to one of the side characters from the second book in the Hiddenverse series. While reading the other books isn't necessary to understand this one - it's definitely worth reading!

You wouldn't be able to tell from Willow's lifestyle that she comes from a pretty well-off family but when one of her Roller Derby fans becomes a little too obsessive, her father hires a group of bodyguards to protect her.

I thought this book was an easy read and flowed well. I have to admit, it took awhile for me to warm up to the guys as they were all about being over-bearing and over-protective. Granted Willow didn't make their job easy and it didn't help that she felt a connection to her stalker. Then when you add in the Alpha that broke her heart, things definitely get interesting. It's a journey to get everyone on the same page, but well worth the read.

There was a LOT going on in this story! A somewhat bratty omega, who is part of a very successful roller derby team as a bid for independence and autonomy in a society that casts omegas as weak and biddable. Three alphas in a pack hired as bodyguards to protect her from a stalker, who fall for her but at the same time don’t want to control her but instead support her. An ex, her scent match who pushed her away, but who has since matured (as has she) and is willing to work for another chance. And finally, the stalker who is obsessed with her but just wants to bask in her presence. He was kind of crazy but Willow had an aspect of that too, that drank up being the object of such an intense focus. Lots of growth, lots of heat, recognition that the heart is an elastic organ and there’s really no limit to how many can be loved and accepted.

She is being stalked.

She is a roller derby skater who goes by Jinx. Jinx is suffering from a broken scent match bond with Landon and has a stalker after her. She doesn’t think he’s dangerous. Her dad hires three bodyguards to keep her safe. These three alphas are all business in the beginning. Graham is the pack leader never giving in to anything, Hunter is serious in nature and Carson is the comic relief. Willow suffers an episode from the broken bond that almosts kills her and the guys have to help her through it. Finn the ever present shadow (a.k.a. Stalker) is added into the mix. He is obsessed beta that believes he knows what’s good for Willow. He loves her and wants her only if she wants him. Each character has a past that threatens to derail the progress they make. Can all these different people come together and fulfill Willow’s dreams? There is some MM is the story so be warned.

This book is fun, steamy, sexy and romantic, and is a great read, that features, three bodyguards, a psycho and an ex, trying to win the heart of a tough(ish) Roller Derby Omega.
Jinx AKA Willow, and is trying to get over her heart being broken, but she is a tough cookie and is not going to give up her dreams for anything. She is hyper, funny and oh so very stubborn and has some brilliant heated battles with her hotties!
I love the protectors, from stoic Graham, to quiet Hunter and charming Carson, who is a particular favourite of mine. I think that Finn is a genius addition, with his endearing idiosyncrasies and devotion. My other favourite is the ex, Landon. The man who made the biggest mistake of his life and is trying to make up for it.
This is an excellent read, with a boat load of spice and some lovely romantic moments. 5 stars!

Knot Today is my second AJ Moran novel. This one is a longer read - a bit too long almost - but a delightful omegaverse tale about a roller derby queen building her pack.

I really enjoyed the parts of the story that focused on the roller derby. That’s a very unique story that I’ve never encountered before now. Willow, the FMC, is a jammer for the team and is being stalked by Finn. Her father hires Hunter, Carson and Graham to protect her. A complication arises when her scent match, Landon - who left her - is hired to help the team win nationals.

This is not a quick read, but is an enjoyable one. The spice level is moderate. I give it 4 stars out of five and 3 🌶️🌶️🌶️ out of five.

I received an advance reader copy of this book in exchange for my review. It did not, however, influence me in any way.

I started the whole series a week ago in preparation for this book. I absolutely loved reading about each person in this universe. From Erin and her childhood pack, Lilah and the pack that fixes her broken heart, Chad and his mix of old and new pack, Ashlyn and her pack that made poor choices earlier in life, Ally and her “mysterious” pack to Knot Pink where we first get to know the beginning of the story with Willow.

Knot Today picked up where Knot Pink left off and was just non-stop from the start. I love the pace, the romance, the thrill of the stalker and the hope of a second chance for Landon. A.J. Moran threw it all together and laid out the perfect story for us! You definitely need to read Knot Pink first to get the whole story, but you will not regret it. Willow’s story was amazing!!

I honestly had no clue how this pack was going to come together. You have the obsessive stalker who is incredibly intense, the three bodyguards hired to protect Willow from said stalker and her scent match who ripped her heart to shreds. Highly recommend reading the prequel- Knot Pink, which shows what happened between Landon and Willow. He absolutely devastated her and those 3 sexy bodyguard alphas held her together. All the interactions between Willow and Finn gave me the most delicious chills. I was on the edge of my seat as this pack slowly began to form and once all 6 of them came together it was fireworks. Wow, this really was intriguing and just so good to read. The main character herself (Willow) I absolutely adored her.

Willow just loves her roller derbys and her team mates dont care or know that she is omega, but willow has a stalker who just loves to take photos and follow her around whereever she goes. And her dad gets wind of her stalker, so now she has three bodyguards as well to look out for. But her bodyguards soon are getting to her and as for her stalker shes starting to care for him as well, but the crux of it all is the one Alpha that she lost, who bit her and left her. He wants to see her again to apologise. The only thing wrong with that is that Willow still has feelings for him.

Roller Derby! Now that's not a sport you read about often.

Willow Delong may be in danger, at least, that’s what her father believes. Convinced she’s being stalked, he brings in Caron, Hunter, and Graham to keep her safe.

Willow is on a Roller Derby team where everyone knows her as Jinx. Her real identity? That’s a secret she’s keeping to herself. But one fan seems to be too invested, Finn Reed. He’s at every match, camera in hand, lens trained on Jinx like she’s the only one on the track. While her teammates think he's a stalker, Willow insists the handsome photographer is harmless. Probably. And does she welcome his attention? Maybe...

Okay, this story was just fun. I absolutely loved that Willow/Jinx was on a roller derby team and was so fierce about it and I loved her teammates. They were all just so sassy and looked out for each other.

While I thought the plot to get the bodyguards into the story was very weak, (I actually laughed when Willow said the same thing in the story), I really liked the guys themselves. They were so good to her and took such good care of her. They allowed her to explore her heart and readily accepted those she loved.

I thought that there was a missed opportunity to bring in the suspense when there was a very short line about an attack on Willow's fathers home though.

Overall, just a fun romp!

Willow has a situation with a stalker. He's really not all that dangerous, but he does resort to some dangerous behavior trying to get her attention. In order to protect her, bodyguards are hired. Of course, with their alpha tendencies, these bodyguards are keeping a close eye on Willow. Soon, they all realize that she is much more to them than a job. But convincing her that they should all be together is going to be a challenge for them because Willow doesn't want to follow all of the rules society places on her. As we learn more about the stalker, Willow realizes that he really does see her and how she wants to live her life. And when her ex returns to the picture, Willow starts to wonder if she really can have it all. This story has something for everyone and while there is a fair share of drama, there is a lot of loving as well.

I liked the alphas who were protecting Willow but once they fell in love with her they all changed except Carson. Graham was supposed to be this hard core dom but he never got to show that side of him. The men all started out as these tough, macho, take charge kind of men until they fell in love with her than they all changed into wimps. I liked Finn the best because he stuck by his beliefs and was more confident then any one else. Willow started out as this fiery, independent, strong woman who turns into a big fat mess who can not make up her mind. Definitely not for me but I am sure someone will like it. Just too darn long.

Loved this one. I usually expect a bit more trauma from this author but the way these characters interact is beautiful. There is so much going on in the background and that is implied but they all are a necessary piece of the pack. Each of them are searching for home and a place where they are wanted in which to belong and this combination works perfectly for them. They each are missing something but in this grouping they are able to relax and feel safe wanted and above all needed. Finally all the pieces of home.

bully romance?

I tried really hard with this book, it’s my favorite omegaverse premise, but the blatant disregard for consent is insane. There are multiple points where the FMC says no and the alphas just ignore her, no previous conversations about CNC, just say no back and continue. Between that and the over the top protectiveness, not cute OV alpha protectiveness, but kidnapping I’m not sure why this wasn’t labeled as like a dark bully romance. The writing itself is really fantastic so if you’re interested in CNC bully romances this might be for you, but without triggers, if controlling relationship situations trigger you, I’d probably stay away.

What happens when your scent match cheats on you? You leave and keep going. Willow/Jinx is a Roller Derby Queen. She is an omega on a beta roller derby team who are trying to make it to nationals. She also has a stalker. Her father is rich and supports the team, but none of the players know that it is Willow's father. Her dad called her home to "have a talk with her" about her stalker Finn. She is to have sercurity with her at all times. They are Graham, Carson and Hunter. She still has feelings for Landon, her scent match and now she is saddled with three very ripped and sexy alphas. Nothing can possibly go wrong.
