First off, I want to say that I absolutely loved this series!! I don't know who my fav is but it's a toss up between Ryan and Kevin!! This series was an amazing roller coaster that I didn't want to get off! I was excited and sad to hear that this was the last book and I would have to say goodbye to everyone... On that note, it pains me to say that I was totally disappointed in this book :( I know that this author can write better than this, it's proven with all the others that came before this one in the series...horrible way to end an awesome series unfortunately. There are about to be spoilers so stop reading now if you haven't read it yet... First off this book made me dislike Lily, she seemed kinda slutty! I mean she slept with 3 of the guys in the group for crying out loud AND her sister sleeps with Damien right after she does (YUCK!!) and she's all happy about it, seriously gross!?!?!? Then she sleeps with Steve shortly after sleeping with Damien, she was all over the place and I didn't care for it. I just couldn't connect with her for some reason. Don't even get me started on Steve! He wants her then he doesn't practically the entire book, it was too much! Then he knows she's banging his cousin and doesn't care-sleeps with her anyway (again fucking YUCK!)...it was like a book of sloppy seconds. Man, soooo disappointed :( I would say to leave the series on a high note and just skip this book-be happy ending it with Kevin and Andi...you'll thank me for it I promise
Where to start, wow Steve was a great story to read. Steve thought he knew what he wanted , engaged to the Woman he thought was his future, amazing job and a beautiful house to start a family. All his best friends we're happy and either married are soon to be. When his world comes crumbling down around him with a cheating Fiance' caught in the act he vows to never give his heart again. Lily is Sophie long time best friend she comes out to visit and the wedding decides to see what life has to offer in LA. She is instantly attracted to Steve but he isn't open to a relationship, so the next best thing become his BFF and roommate. It's torture for Lily but she doesn't want to be anywhere else. Trying to show Steve what they could be together but he is not willing to open his heart again. It tears her apart and she can't do it anymore and decides to move back home. Steve doesn't know how to go on with out her but is it enough to open his eyes and break the walls he has around his heart. Can this UNTAMED be Tamed, all it takes is the right One, ( there person) to change everything you thought you didn't need in your life. Sorry to see an end to this series but all great things have to come to an end. If you enjoyed the other books in the Moretti Series you will enjoy Steve's story too.
when Mark showed his face it was love at first sight ... then other boys came and against that charm you don't stand a chance !!! even the drama seems fit with the amount of ego and swag and character !
I like Steve and Lily and they have a good story and chemistry but this book didn't do it for me .... it seems like it jumps from one point to another, don't know which way is forward and honestly you get lost who's POV are you reading currently ...
it seems all jammed together with pieces missing and things not being said and not being consistent ... just to, mmm, like every couple sentences I was "wtf" shaking my head, going back a few lines and re-reading it again and it's wtf !!!
it's ok, but the author showed us she can/does do this better.
I've been a huge fan of the Moretti novels and absolutely love this group, but I have to admit that I was less than impressed with certain aspects if this book. I love that Steve finally learned to move on after the blow that Amber dealt to his heart. I'm glad that Lily become part of this family, but I'm not thrilled about the love triangle aspect that was thrown in. There are just some people who should be off limits, and D definitely should have been one of them...the same rationale goes for D & Mia I sure hope there isn't a book for them in the future either because the whole situation doesn't sit well with me. If it weren't for that whole aspect I would have rated the book higher, which is a shame because I really enjoyed all the other books in this series.
I don't know how to rate this book. I didn't like the main characters but I liked the story line. Lily was weak. Kissing was too intimate but screwing wasn't?
Make sure you read all the previous books in the series before reading Untamed. Untamed is worth so much more than just 5⭐️'s. I had to give myself some time after I finished the book to let it process. I loved Untamed. As with all the other books in the series, Untamed showed such love between the characters. These boys (Moretti men) grew up with such bonds between each other that they were basically brothers. When one hurt they all hurt, when one loved they all loved. I am also so sad that this is the end for my guys and the woman they love. I will keep them close to my heart. Untamed is Steve and Lily's story. Steve was engaged to Amber throughout the whole series. Everyone kept telling him that Amber was trouble and not good for him. Problem was he was blind to what everyone else saw. Until one night when Steve's world crumbled around him. Of course all his friends where their to help him through it. Lily was Sofie's best friend from college that came for Sofie's wedding to Mark but ended up moving to be near her and get a teaching job. Lily caught Steve's eye when they first met, but being engaged he kept his distance. Through time they became roommates and each started developing feelings for the other. A tragic event brings them together were they belong. Untamed gives us a bit of closure to all the characters from all the books and introduces us to Damien. Stevie's long lost cousin and friend to all the guys. He is in a rock band Liquid Regret that is just hit it big. This leads us into a new series...Liquid Regret. Thank you MJ Carnal for writing such an amazing series. I absolutely loved all the books in the series.
So I've read these books one by one from the beginning. Slowly devouring each story. With each one, I laughed, cried and fell in love with a group of characters who became more than friends they were family. I watched (read) more and more characters come in, switch from supporting characters to main ones. My heart broke alongside each of their stories as MJ Carnal took me on this incredible journey.
MJ, you did great. Untamed was beautiful. Lily and Steve go through everything they do, you leading the way to enlighten us, creating these clear images of each in our mind and heart. Thank you for writing what you write. For sharing the beauty of each story, especially this particular one.
Lily and Steve's story might bring the end of the Moretti-Dickerson clan but I see beautiful things with LiQuid Regret.
The way you bring in characters and see them in so seamlessly is pure beauty.
To a future reader thinking about buying this book, stop thinking and one click. Trust me... It's great!
OMG I don't know how I missed reviewing this one it was probably my favorite .... I had a blonde moment !!! I absolutely love Steve and I so very badly wanted to punch his ex-fiance in the throat for what she does to him. The man is loyal to a fault, sweet, sexy, kind and so broken. I just want to hold him and hugs him and squeeze him. Lily ROCKS !!! I love her. From the minute I was introduced to her, i was in girl love. Shes sweet, kind, adorably gorgeous. She gave me not one reason to hate her. And I hate most chicks .... This book is so well written and makes me happy and sad all at the same time. The Series ends as it should, with everyone happy and in love ..... but is it over ?? Can it be ? well, i dont know..... hmmmmmm watch and you shall see
The author did an amazing job on this series and I am so glad I found and read it. I definitely recommend this series, this book and this author. I know I will be stalking her regularly !!
After weeks of not enough reading I have finally brought Untamed and sat down for a few hours of piece and quiet.
The things I heard about this book had me longing to read it. This is such an amazing story. Getting to know Steve in previous books I have fallen a little bit in love with him. He is such a sweetheart. Lily is a person we want to have by our side when the going gets tough. She was Steve's rock in the hardest moments of his life and she healed him unknowingly. They both show their feelings for each other but are afraid to say the words, to say they mean everything to each other. When they finally get together it is like becoming a whole person for them and I loved reading their love story. Not so untamed Steve has made a warm place in my heart just for himself and he ain't coming out.
This book is worth every minute I spent reading it. The perfect ending to this series and I can't give this book enough stars for how good it is.
WOW, I have loved all the men of this series but something about Steve Wainwright he stole my heart. He is so broken and has walls that are thick never to let what happen with Amber happen again. Well in comes Lilly, full of life and a huge heart. She is the friend he needs when things in his life are destroyed but their undeniable chemistry pours off the pages. I love that they are opposites yet balance each other. The introduction of Damien lead singer of Liquid Regrets (I'm so excited for the next series) and now Lily has affection coming from multiple places the fact I honestly wasn't sure what way she would go and was so proud of her that she proved to be a strong independent woman through the story. I highly recommend this book and series I couldn't put the book down. MJ Carnal is a brilliant Author the flow of her books keeps you on your toes and the men in her books are smoking hot with strong woman roles also. Completely amazing wonderful Job as always.
This book was bittersweet. It is the last book in the Moretti Series and I was amazing as are all the books in this series! If you haven't met the Moretti Men you must!! This is Steve's story. Steve and Amber have been engaged since forever, but Amber has not been faithful. His friends have hinted to Steve and even voiced their dislike of her, but until Steve finds her in the act with his partner from work does Steve finally accept it. Steve then moves and shares an apartment with Lily. Lily is Sophie's best friends and Kevin's best friend. Steve and Lily are very attracted to one another, but Steve don't want to get hurt again, so he decides not to let anyone in. When Steve's cousin shows up after years away, he finds himself attracted to Lily too. Will Steve overcome his fear and let Lilly In? I am going to miss this series and characters!! and the Moretti Male Model Muses!!!!
I have loved this series from the beginning. Throughout each book I fell in love with each character and this one was no different. MJ has done an absolute amazing job with this series. She has taken each character and made us fall in love and connect with them on different levels.
After Steve finds out that the girl he has been with for 7 years has been cheating on him he decides to not let his heart go through that again. His best friend and roommate Lily makes that choice very hard for him. Lil has feelings for Steve and knows he feels something for her as well. When Lil decides she needs to move on and move back home Steve is left with his heart yet again torn to pieces. After an accident Steve realizes life is short and you might not get another day. As he decides he is ready to fight for Lil will she decide it's to late?
Wow where to start! This is an amazing series! Steve was engaged till he walked in on his fiancé with his friend. He vowed that day never to let any one near his heart again. Lily was just one of the guys. She is Steve's best friend and roommate. When they met it was an instant attraction. Steve fought that attraction every day because he knew he's not good enough for her. Lily decides to move on and do what's best for her and goes home to Georgia. A tragic accident happens and wakes Steve up. Letting him see what he truly wants in life. Does he faces his fears or does he leave well enough alone???
Of course I had to finish this series- MJ finished strong. I love this group of family they are lovely and so easy to sink into their story. The last man standing in this group of friends is Steve, he has been engaged forever until he finds out his fiancé has been cheating on him, he leans on Lily and though he has feelings for her he feels he is too wounded to let anyone into his heart again. Lily can't reach Steve so she has to get on with her life. When life or death events occur they both see that their love is stronger. Beautiful ending to this wonderful series. I Loved It and recommend it to all.
Well I was sad and happy reading this series 1) because I will miss all the characters. 2) because this book did have some touching moments. But this sadly was my least favorite in the series. The beginning was for me just all over the place. Also the middle I really got into the book after the middle it started getting better but some of the choices made I just didn't agree with. But I am not a writer so with that said I loved the ending it was beautiful. I just felt like they were different characters. they changed but we're not different characters I know it's hard to understand that's why you should read it and see for yourself. so for me 3.5 stars
I have to say I was so privileged to work with MJ from day one of the release of her first book and to watch her grow and to watch this series take off has just been amazing. This series is absolutely one of my favorite. It has the ability to make me laugh, cry, and take my breath all in one chapter.
Untamed is the last book in this series but it sets us up for another and I can't wait to see what it holds. Though I have to say I really hate to see this one end. Hopefully one day down the road we can have a book about the children. That would be amazing!
I am saddened that this series has come to an end but what a great way to end the series. Poor Steve I felt like kicking him a few times but ultimately he made the right decision. I was balling my eyes out at the ending of the book including the epilogue. So far I have loved every single book MJ Carnal has put out. I found out about this series by an accident and I am so glad I took the chance. I'm looking forward to her Liquid Regret series.
since I read them back to back I will do a review as a series as a whole. each book was similar but the stories were different. even though the story was abt a particular couple all thr other characters were large parts of it and did truly feel like a family like it was reiterated in the book. each man was awesome in his own way. can not pick a favorite one! point of view was neutral it was not one person and always got both pov of the other person.
Absolutely Awesome. What a fantastic story. Steve is a tortured soul and luckily Lily is there. 2 Souls meant for each other. Sad that this is the end BUT I am hopeful that maybe in the future we will hear some more of all the boys and girls. Oh just sad because I need MORE Fantastic writing M J Carnal. You are the best. look forward to reading Liquid Regret
OMG this is even worse than Mark's story which btw I really disliked! I did however really love books 2,3 and 4 in this series but this one OMG, Lily UGHHHHHHH what a pig! I wanted to get this story in before Liquid Regret but I couldn't be anymore turned off to Lily, Damien and Mia!
Okay I finally read this one. I was trying not to in hopes that it would not be the end of the series. I know, I know it happened even though I hadn't read it silly me. I love how she wove a spin off out of this book. I love how authors share characters too. I caught the mention of Kade. :) So with all that said, I loved this one and the whole series!
Another great read in this series. I loved this series and all the characters. I hope we get to see Steve and Lily's wedding. The author left us hanging with this. I also want to see Kevin become a father. Steve had his heart crushed and Lily showed him the light again so he could love her. I liked how the new characters were introduced for the new series.
Tears n more tears, can't get over this series, omg Steve going over the cliff, spooky old man that saved him n everything else to, weddings, goodbyes n lots of memories but I won't say goodbye because ill 're read n 're read this series over n over. She'd more tears over everything that happens. Fantastic book, series too.
Amazing! This was the perfect conclusion to possibly one of my favorite families... I am sad to see the boys go but MJ Carnal did a phenomenal job throughout of bringing me to tears, laughing and wanting more and Untamed was perfect in every way.
awwe what a wonderful hoooottttt end to this series. everyone is happy and in love and i only cried once in this book. the last two had me boohooing most of the way through. all and all i really love this book and im sorry it the end.
I loved all of the Moretti novels. this was my favorite. I can't tell you how many times I cried in this book. the story was well thought out and the whole story came together.. read all of this series.you won't regret it!!
I am sad to see this series end. The moretti clan is one you want to have. I absolutely loved this entire series. The men were completely hot and alpha which I love and the women are ones you want as bffs.
Bitter sweet feelings towards this book with it being the last in the series. There were many times that I became completely frustrated with both Lily and Steve and wanted to just bang their heads together to try and knock some sense into them. A fitting end to what has been an amazing series.
