NO! : a response to donald j. trump

"It's a wildly creative take on politics” – K.C. Finn for Readers’ Favorite
“There is a highly compelling case why 'No!' should be read by every American." - Constance Stadler for Readers' Favorite

Praised for its creativity and urgency, No! is a powerful exploration of what happens when a nation chooses power over principle.

Once imagined as a warning, it now reads like a chronicle. In fifty unforgettable voices—history, justice, even a humble coffee bean—America’s institutions, ideals, and silent witnesses speak as democracy bends under the weight of corruption, cruelty, and denial. Their stories are by turns tragic, absurd, and deeply human—a collective cry from the conscience of a country that knew better.

No! is both satire and elegy, an imaginative testament to how far we’ve fallen—and how urgently we must remember why we said “no” in the first place.

Barry Robbins is a retired CPA with a keen interest in things having nothing to do with accounting. He spent 26 years working for a large accounting firm. Then he quit. He moved to Helsinki, Finland with his Finnish wife and two beautiful daughters 20 years ago. He now spends much of his time living in Florida, struggling to adapt to life in what often seems like a foreign country. The years spent in Europe gave him new eyes through which to see the U.S. That, plus the time spent freelancing as a ghostwriter of book reports for lazy third graders, make him uniquely qualified to serve as Chronicler-in-Chief of the Oh Daddy Chronicles.

Interesting Style of Writing

I really enjoyed the style of writing the author used in the book. While most of the chapter topics are in chronological order, one chapter is not dependent on the next. This means you can freely read through the book as you please. There’s probably going to be some negative hits on this one from anyone who is politically “right-wing” or pro-Trump as this book is clearly written and titled as opposite to that. However, I personally encourage anyone for all sides and in between to read this one with an open mind. It’s engaging, informative, and updated to very current events in today’s government in America. At the end of the day, it is a book. Everyone should be encouraged to do their own research and fact-checking before pulling truth and beliefs from books they read. This one states true events and facts even while delivered with more left leaning opinions. I have never read a book written from the focused-topic’s perspective like this one. It made me think about the events, issues, and concerns through a different lens.

Clever way to write a book - entertaining TDS

An interesting and entertaining book. The author likes Donald Trump a lot. Judging from his bibliography, it’s his favorite subject to write about. To be clear, Trump’s not a nice guy, but the TDS of this book is so over the top to be entertaining for anyone who doesn’t cry themselves to sleep every night over the electron results. Take it for what it is and enjoy it. It’s a clever take using inanimate things like the hospital where Trump was born, among other items, to tell the story. It's worth reading, no matter your politics.

I am loving his writing.A gifted writer with the ability to explain the situations in easy to understand and pleasant writing. I now refer people who want to argue the other side of this politics to read him, because he does it with humor.

Another recommendation by my grandma! Witty, bold, and empathetic. Such an compassionate way of describing everything that Trump has done this term, by putting the real victims back as the focus.
