Brad tried to keep Hannah and her two border collies safe. While Hannah helped get Brad back on his feet, she found herself not only in danger, but quickly falling in love with Brad. While bullets flew at every turn, Brad wondered if he and Hannah would live to cherish the new love they found in each other. This book is a novella...with mystery and intrigue around every corner. Freebie from Kindle.... did no one edit or at least proof read it? The verb tenses are wrong. Such as: SHOT is past tense, SHOOT is present tense. The last 2 or 3 chapters were all about them "Shot" at each other, instead of "shooting". Really annoying and distracting, so while the plot was OK, I have to say this is one of the worst books I've read recently.

This was an okay short story. I just can't seem to get into this series, sorry to say. It seems to be rushed and really unbelievable. I have not been able to feel anything at all for the characters.
