"Help Wanted: Poets Please Apply" is a magnificent anthology representing a total of 19 indie poets largely from the wordpress community. This brilliant poetry masterpiece arrives in time to celebrate the shine of summer, to inspire the creative spirit, and warm reader's hearts. This collective effort is edited by prolific artist, poet, blogger, memoirist, photographer, book reviewer, mental health advocate and art therapist Emily Sturgill M.Ed.

In May 2014, Sturgill explained her desire to try a new project, mainly to promote the work of fellow poets, it was a joyful experience! The anthology "is very eclectic and diverse", Sturgill noted. I personally love the fine lyrical qualities, the different voices of emotional expression, the various topics, and subject matters covered. It is impossible to determine the best poem, or even a favorite poem, they are all exceptionally done. Each one represents some of the best work of the following poets:
Leesa Abbott ~ Dominic R. DiFrancesco ~ Da Absentee ~ Stacy Michelle ~ Omavi ~ Abhilasha Singh ~ Gilly Mbachu Goldsworthy ~ tt4r ~ Richard Bryant ~ Carrie Page ~ Shannon Benjamin ~ Lorien Vidal ~ Starry Skies ~ Celestine Nudanu ~ Anna Bianca ~ Sylvia Porter Hall ~ KaBoKi ~ Catherine Nowak ~ Emily Sturgill has also included her own poetry.

The interesting brief biographies/some photos of each poet are included. Many of these poets are published, well received, and have won various recognition/awards/prizes. A few are world travelers, or from distant parts of the globe; and many others are from different states throughout the US. Sturgill lives near Detroit, MI with her husband and pet family. This anthology is give-away eBook value priced at 0.99 cents:) Many thanks to Amazon for the Kindle promotional copy for review.

This was a wonderful idea by the editor and contributor, Emily Sturgill. A variety of talented artists and their creative poetry is included in one book. I think the idea of showcasing poetry from a diverse range of writers and perspectives was genius. This anthology came out beautifully. Other poets will be happy with this product and will find favorite poets and poems along the way. I look forward to further anthologies from this author.
