Way to go to make me think I broke my computer! I was hypnotized as only HM Ward can do, reading and giggling like a maniac at peeing on walls and buses and critters. Feeling incredibly tangible vibes of attraction from the main characters and kinda digging the secondaries and really curious. And then my heart was broken by....to be continued. I am going to need the next in installment, pronto! Excellent, Madam Ward!!! I feel completely compelled and amused and frustrated and I am gonna have to eat a cookie.

I'll review all of the books in the series here.
The romance was ok, nothing over the top, but the heroine makes this book worthwhile.
She often says something along the lines of "people will think I'm crazy haha", but here's the thing... she actually does come across a bit crazy. LOL
Life has thrown at her some really shitty things, but she embraces them all with the good old "OKAY, SURE, WHY THE F NOT!", she's so done with everything and it's hilarious. She buys a SCHOOL bus, the yellow ugly thing and drives it around with a raccoon inside (because why not).
All together, her actions are a bit on the crazy side. This is the scene that would describe her:

I actually laughed out loud at the absurdity of some of her actions. Which means this book was next to hilarious.

Wowzers, what a change from the norm...
I absolutely LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this latest child of Holly's. Of course all of H.M. Ward knocks the socks off of you or the panties... ;)
So once again, I'm absolutely HOOKED! Thanks a lot, Holly! Like I don't have enough books to read!? ;) Although, seriously I would read every day of my life if you released a book a day, you're THAT good!!!
Anyway, back to Kerry and the mystery hot dude! Did your jaw drop, your stomach go to your throat or maybe want to throw a stack of plates at the wall? Or did you do like me and try and figure out who the hell he is and actually picture him being related to someone special in one of the other Ferro family books? Well I did all of the above! I'm NOT kidding; your heart is going to race, you're going to be ummm, shocked is the word I'm looking for. But wait a second, it won't stop there - you will literally be peeing your pants from laughing so hard. You'll meet some really cool people and one sapphired eyed oh so sexy and lickable... BUT you can't forget about the killer bunny that you seriously wished she had never saved that buttface from...
BUT, maybe I'm making crap up and it's like a bunch of empty pages... ha, think again - you know that when it comes to Holly's book there's NEVER filler, just thrilling emotionally charged shouting from the roof top. Go ahead, I dare you to buy this book on Monday to prove me wrong... By the way... Here's something funny for you to look forward to! ;)

Oh and one last thing, this latest novella is part of a series - it is not stand alone so if you want a quick finish this is not for you! BUT, if you're dying to have unbelievable quick reads with awesome cliffhangers that normally get really anxious for the next volume - this is just what the doctor ordered! However if you're looking for stand-alone, I recommend all of the following...which are part of the "Ferro clan"!!!!

I received an ARC copy of Secrets & Lies in exchange for an honest review..
So once again H.M.Ward as blown us away with her capability of creating another hot and intriguing story line. I was one of the lucky ones to receive the ARC copy of this mysterious novel, I say mysterious because we all knew it was coming ,but most of us didn't know what or who the book was about.. we only knew it was a Ferro family serial and the title was called secrets & lies and its written by the talented H.M. Ward. So let me start by saying this is the first book in the Secret & Lies serial out of seven books. So we don't know much about the book thus far we don't get secrets revealed here or anything of the sort, what we do get is the introduction of our "unlucky" or lucky depends how you see her heroine and our sexy new heartthrob.
In this new story we meet Kerry Hill an art major from New York who as travelled miles from home to attend college in a different state, and we follow her through some unfortunate events during her first days of school. You see Kerry as no new friends and her first boyfriend/ first love has just dumped her on her first day of school over text no less and it all goes down hill from there on out. Kerry meets a nice girl name Beth who gives her the most common advice "to get over someone you have to basically get under someone else." So Kerry and Beth go on this man hunt and Kerry finally finds someone that catches her eye and let me tell you that with the eyes that this man has and the mystery around him he only oozes sex appeal, but If you want to know more about Kerry's crazy adventure and Mr. Tall Dark and sexy you guys have to read for yourself.
We meet more characters throughout the novel that become Kerry's friends ,but unfortunately we don't get to see a lot of the main male lead, we only know this his name is Nathan Smith and he's a artist, so the question is where does the Ferro name come to play and where does the secrets and lies come out, we don't get a lot of of this novel which only makes me want book 2 like right now.
In true H.M. Ward we are left with a minor cliff hanger which leaves us with more unanswered questions, but its not a crazy cliff hanger. I give this book 5 stars because this book had everything it was fun, hot and sexy. There's a scene in this book that gives the turkey scene in Damaged 2 a run for its money it was hilarious it involves a school bus and a raccoon, you guys are going to love it. Can't wait for volume 2 to get to know more about these amazing and new characters and get some answers and secrets revealed.

Wow, just wow! I am in love with the Ferro family ok? They rock with their hotness and emotional baggage. You just can’t beat it. Secrets and Lies honestly isn’t much different than H.M. Wards other stuff. Hold the flame thrower ok? Not dissing just give me a second. Secrets & Lies reminds me a lot of Damaged which let me just tell you made me want to do a happy dance because I loooved Damaged. However, it wasn’t the same. Just to get that out there.
Kerry’s luck really sucks so much in this book I honestly almost died from laughing. I know laughing at other peoples misfortunes or whatever but seriously I almost died. Let me just say feral raccoons, buses, and no clothes. P.S. Those did not happen at the same time. Anyway Kerry is all kinds of adorable. She isn’t the jaded comes from crap family or no family thing you usually get in a Ferro story and I have to say that was sort of refreshing. Kerry is just a normal college freshman with a craptastic roommate and bad luck.
Okay now my favorite part: Beth! I honestly loved Beth. She reminds me so much of myself (not the complete reason I love her but added bonus) and she is just hilarious. She befriends Kerry on her first day and I can tell that in the next six installments she’s going to be lots of fun.
So Kerry as I stated has bad luck and when she goes one night to have a one night stand she ends up getting hot and heavy and then dumped when a phone rings. I know douche moves. So Kerry tries to move on and she meets some people who end up to be friends in the making all the while having even more bad stuff happen to her when Bam out pops Mr. Douche who happens to be friends with her friends. Whoops!
So needless to say I need some more of this. Honestly I love Mrs. Wards stuff. She’s fantastic and so I will wait “patiently” for parts 2-6 I know they will be worth it and angst ridden. Can’t go wrong with Ferro…just saying!

I LOVED THIS BOOK. It’s lite and so fun to read. Gosh! H. M. Ward is good.
This is about Kerry whose boyfriend, I mean ex-boyfriend, broke up with her through a text message saying that he already found someone else. To think, it was her first day of school. Wow! What a mess to start her college life, right?
And thanks to her new found friend, Beth, for she offered her a – hmmm how should I say this, ummm… should it be stupid? Or brilliant? Oh whatever – way to cope up with this devastating event…rebound sex! Great, right? Hahahaha. All she has to do is to find a random guy who's good looking and then ask him to do the thing, easy and simple.
So Kerry and Beth went to a club and spotted a guy, I mean, spotted a handsome, hot, jaw-dropping guy, sitting on the corner with a sketch pad on his table. She did what she was told and asked the guy for a one-night of total wildness and pleasure. Okay, it’s not exactly like that though. He agreed, of course, with a “no names” term so he’ll remain as the mystery guy.

A new hot and fun series by H.M. Ward? Yes, please!!! After receiving an advanced reader's copy, I couldn't wait to start reading. So far I'm loving this new series!!! Kerry is simply wonderful and love-able. The poor girl can't seem the catch the break she deserves. After having her heart broken by her long time boyfriend, who frankly doesn't even deserve her obviously, everything seems to spiral out of control for her. She's tricked by her art professor into volunteering for something she's entirely afraid of doing. She's tricked into buying a vehicle of disaster. The poor girl can't even succeed at having rebound sex without it being ruined before starting. Talk about battering an already broken heart. To make matters worse, she can't forget about the hot guy from her almost one night stand. So what will Kerry do when the mystery guy who's now seen her during the two most embarrassing moments of her life pops up again? Who is Nathan Smith? What will Kerry do about this hot, mystery man that turned her down but still gets her hot and bothered? Holly, I don't know how you come up with the things you do, but you have a talent for creating some crazy, quirky scenes! Ferro fans and other readers, you don't want to miss these new amazing characters Holly has created!!

What can I really say, but H.M. Ward has done it again! As always I'm hooked and can't wait for the next installment of this series! This book has me feeling so many different emotions, I laughed, I felt sad, I was totally lusting over the guys and loving the girls!

This is the start to another great Ferro series by HM Ward! Who is this mysterious Ferro? I guess time will tell.
Kerry is away from home at college broken hearted from a cheating boyfriend. Her new best friend, Beth, talks her into going out and finding a random guy to sleep with to get over her ex. The only problem is that Kerry is not that kind of girl. While at the club, Kerry gets the courage to approach this gorgeous, artistic guy. She is insanely attracted to him and decides to give the one night stand a try. No names, just one great night. Just as they are getting hot and heavy, his phone rings and he leaves her at the hotel. Kerry hopes to never see him again. But for Kerry, what she hopes isn't what happens. Who is this mysterious man and will she be able to stay away from his charms?

Now the synopsis of this book intrigued me, mainly because no one would identify the Mystery Man. I have my theories based on the Arrangement books but to be honest even after reading the first installment I still don't know how this is all going to connect. Some of the series meld nicely together to create a super Ferro story so I hope this series will blend in as well. Right now we are being set up. We are meeting a new character who is so screwed. I really feel for Kerry, her life just stinks right now. This is a slow introduction so we'll see what we get in book 2, but for now, meet Kerry and her possible new friends? Enjoy

What I can tell you is that Arrangement, Damaged & Proposition really meld together so well. It is a juicy tale of drama that is fun to read. Stripped is a part of the books but not tied in a lot, just minimally, but you need to read them. The Trystan Scott series books 1-5 really don't connect all that much except to give Trystan's character a back story. It is not super important to the Ferro's but they were a fun read and entertaining. They enhance his character but not completely necessary. I recommend them but if you are time crunched you're good. The Scandalous books are pointless. One person in our book club read them and they had NOTHING to do with the Ferro's. Finally the Wedding Contract, although it is about Nick Ferro it really doesn't tie into the Ferro's story. It is a breakaway book that if it wasn't Nick Ferro would just be a great story. So again if you are time crunched it is not a necessary book. So far reading them in order is difficult but entertaining.

I loved Secrets and Lies which captivated me instantly with its abundant humour, charm, angst, characters, mystery and sexiness, keeping my mind searching for clues to help uncover the guise put on by the sexy and artistic Nathan Smith, who happened to just carry the Ferro men trade mark in hotness, bad boy looks and charm. Kerry was a shy and insecure girl who left behind a boyfriend whom she had dated since they were kids. Kerry’s’ first day at college spiralled from one disaster to another after being dumped by her boyfriend, she then found herself in the company of one sexy Nathan Smith. Kerry’s embarrassment and heartache leads her to new friends who take charge, and plan survival tactics to help her get over an ex by finding a rebound guy. Beth was so sweet and just the friend that Kerry needed to help embrace her shyness and insecurities, her brothers were on another level I never laughed so much at their openness regarding sex/relationships, and the banter between them all along with Carter was hilarious. The attraction and unspoken appeal that drew Kerry and Nathan to each other’s presence, just heated the pages promising to deliver us more hot explosive scenes as the story continues. I love H.M Ward’s lead female characters as she pushes them to the brink of despair, fighting to overcome their struggles in order to survive and finding themselves in the company of Ferro men. I never hesitate in picking up her books despite being short reads, her writing style delivers amazing stories every time that suck you into her crazy imagination. Excited for the next clues to Nathan Smith’s persona!

This is the first book of the seven installments promised in this series. You can read the blurb and that just about sets the storyline for you. I am just going to give you a little more insight...
Like all other H.M. Ward books, the writing is first rate. If you have not read any of her books before, this will be a great introduction to her style of writing which is fantastic. Our author is down to earth straight forward and a master at story telling.

When you read the scene in the bathroom, you will agree with me that it is awkward as well as funny an hell!
I don't know where the plot is going, but definitely I want to know more about Carter, Josh and most of all Mystery Man. Just knowing these guys are around and they are all good looking men makes me want to go back to college!
Like all other H.M. Ward books, the writing is first rate. If you have not read any of her books before, this will be a great introduction to her style of writing which is fantastic. Our author is down to earth straight forward and a master at story telling.

This was another great book by Holly. I love this new set of characters, Beth is quirky, fun, and seems like she will be a loyal friend to Kerry. I think Beth's brothers are funny and they will bring comic relief to this story. Then her artsy friends Emily, the guy she called blue, and Carter seem like they will be fun to read about, of course it seems like Carter is already liking Kerry. Then we have Kerry, I like her but I have to admit all I really feel for her right now is sorry, she has the worst luck I have ever seen and at first it was funny but later it got to be too much. How many bad things have to happen to her before enough is enough. Then we have Nathan Smith aka Mystery Man and he is one hot and sexy guy but of course we learn he has issues right from the start, what they are is yet to be revealed but it will be great to get to know him and read more about his sexy self lol The chemistry between him and Kerry is crazy and I can see what the road ahead is going to look like for this relationship, I just hope Kerry's luck changes and gets better. I can't wait to read more about this group and it is fun starting a new series of books by Holly.

This book is just as amazeballs as they all are. Sham wow will get damp and you may have to help yourself finish.
Omg talk about bad luck. This girl in her first week of collage couldn't have went any worse. We have so many ups and downs. She is the modest type and her parents are cheap when it comes to her.
I am sorry for people who like to give away most of the books. But I hate that so I refrain from doing that because I love the roller-coaster of the ups and downs and the surprises that pop up when you read ANY of HM Wards books.

What the heck did I just read Ward? A new gorgeous and blue eyed Ferro babe? Man, I am so lost to these men.. what a guilty pleasure. I can't wait to find out where Nathan comes from or if that is truly his name ;) A man who walks around with a pencil and a sketch pad? What's sexier than that? Poor Kerry, she doesn't know what slapped her upside the head. From a hilarious first encounter to an awkward bootyful moment, I am hooked! I can't wait to read more about this dashing Ferro and his conquest Kerry. Thanks for the escape Holly!

I almost didn't read this book because I am frustrated with the 60 page installments. If I wanted installments, I would watch TV. With that said, after reading Damaged and Stripped by this author (again, not full novels but took more than an hour to read (yay)) I was extremely disappointed. Damaged and Damaged 2 were by far the best in any if the Ferro series - they were funny. This one was so short the Ferro name was never even mentioned and I never connected - with anyone... I think I'm done with elementary books. Time to move on to a higher level....

This is a great read.Kerry is not having a great college experience. She meets Beth who helps her by giving advice on how to get over your ex. Kerry meets Mystery Man, will he make her forget? You need to start this book to find out. Way to go Holly, another winning series.
