I think this might rank in my top 5 favorite books in the world!!! It taught me soooooo many things, and what I like about this seires the most is the fact that they don't say things like, Ensteins theory of relativity was very important, yammer blah blah blah. They say funny things whilst teaching you things! Best learning book ever. ☺☺☺

I If you are asking the time you wouldn't now because there was no time they would just estimate that the sun coming down well now they have a fast peered or sleeping time and day time and this book is going to tell you that this book is going to tell you about that so we can tell the time the past no idea that is we need the clock

This one had a lot more foul language in it than any of the other science ones or horrible history ones. Foul in the sense i would not give it to a kid under 12 since it has the word "ass" three times and "hell" at least once. Combined with several typos, this is definitely the worst of the set.

The facts are presented in a cute way, though the later half is still difficult to understand and follow through...

Good but quite confusing

Wormhole, and long history about our current time system. Escapement and atomic clock, leap years rule consideration. And not to forget 365.25 days in a year.
Good read.
Good read.

Dude, this was such a good book. Anyone who wants to learn about Science in a way like never before, in a humorous way - this is one of the books to go. Nearly all Horrible Science books are lit.
I can't put out in words how revolutionary this book had turned out to be for me.

The book "The Terrible Truth about Time" was an awesome book! Some nonfiction books makes us bored and sleepy, but this book is so fascinating! There are not only boring facts, but fun experiments and also silly facts. Also, the book uses fun stories and events that are related to science. However, this book is sometimes(?) a horror book. There is a picture where there is a man with his head and body separated. I recommend this book to people who likes science and want a non fiction book with not only boring facts but facts that can make you laugh.

I now know that you cannot time travel, even beyond your farthest dreams. You can't go at the speed of light, but you can time travel forwards, but you can never ever travel backwards. I recommend this book for time biologists, any body else that's dead or alive, even a zombie! (I think zombies would most like the book Bulging Brains!) So, therefore, that is my book report!

This book is The Terrible truth About Time by Nick Arnold. It is about time! This book talks about many interesting facts about time. For example, the way flies tell the time. This book was really funny because it tells funny facts about time. It also tells about what happens when we go too close to a black hole. This book discribes all about time. I liked this book.

Tick, tick, tick! The most accurate clocks are the light clocks. In this book there's not only information about time, but also wormholes and black holes. Wormholes are time machines, black holes are suckers. If you touch the sides of the wormholes, you will be pulled into the black hole in which the wormhole belongs to. Other than the four dimensions, are there other dimensions??

Time, the history of calendars & clocks/1watches, Einstein's Theory of Relativity, time traveling,...
Brief and all in all quite interesting, but have to admit I've read better ones of this series.

I wanted to proof read some of these before I gave to R to read. They are fun, but they do have a few bad words, and like the series states, like to lean to the horrible facts - anything gross, slimy, odd, etc. Overall I think they are pretty good though.

Mind-boggling. Though this book is geared toward younger readers (probably around grades 4-7) really anyone could enjoy it. It presents the complex, astoundingly huge scale of time in interesting and amusing facts, while not dumbing it down at all.

Very funny! The truth about time is REALLY scary, though. THERE ISN'T ONE! This is the first Horrible Science that I've read.
