At eleven years old, Macie James was certain she saw her prince standing in her kitchen with his rosy cheeks and cute smile. She was going to marry that boy, she had no doubt about it. As she became a teenager, it was that boy who taught her how to become a confident and sure woman. As the years went by and they grew up, he taught her how to love and to be loved.
Greyden Michaels was surprised when he fell for his best friend’s little sister. He wasn’t opposed to it and, even more surprising, neither was his best friend. When he was in college and her just in high school, he realized they were too young to be committed, he opted for friendship with her and together they decided their love was for the future.
When you hesitate, life happens. When life happens, your plans change. Macie wanted her fairy tale and Greyden was prepared to give it to her when unfortunate events changed his whole life, including his future with the UFC and, most devastatingly, with her. Macie made the decision to live her life, to move on without Greyden, especially once she met the man who wanted to marry her and give her the life he couldn’t.
The problem with that was that Greyden had always seen her as his. Could he give her up completely for her supposed happiness or could he somehow manage to get his life in order to try and win her back, heart and soul?

Unfortunately this book did not give me the warm fuzzies like it did many other reviewers. In fact I find myself not liking much of anything about it from an emotional level. CJ Azcevedo is a remarkable writer and that isn’t lost in this book however so many lies, secrets and mistruths just did me in to a point where I continually wanted to stop. I think I’m being overly fair with my three star rating because I really struggled with this one so proceed with caution if you want to know the why’s.

**** Spoilers Ahead ****
The previous two books in this series were amazing and I absolutely loved them, this book I wanted to throw after a few chapters. What should have or could have been a sweet story became a dragged on mess that Macie should not be proud of. She obviously isn’t aware of the term Girl Power or she would have pulled up her big girl panties a long time ago and told Greyden to suck a nut while she went out to find her happiness. I can’t say I’d recommend this book at least personally. I’m an emotional reader and this did not sit well with me so if you’re the same, steer clear and stick with the first two books, you’ll be left with less knots in your belly.

4 stars!

I am a huge fan of CJ's work and couldn't wait to get my hands on this one! Macie is Declan's little sister, who we met in book 2 of the Without Series. Each of Declan's best friends feel like Macie is their sister too, except for Greyson. Greyson has never felt the sister bond with her. He is always looking out for her, but it's different from the way the others look out for her. Macie falls head over heals in love with him early on, and Greyson falls for her too. But their age difference causes them to take things really slow.

Macie saves herself for Greyson and when they finally take that plunge they are explosive together. Then something terrible happens and it causes Greyson to re-think his relationship with her. He decides that he's not in the right frame of mind and needs to get a handle of his life before he can commit to her. <-----This is why I wasn't able to give this one 5 stars. I felt he was being selfish in asking her to wait for him, while he went out and slept with whoever he wanted. I was very happy when she finally stood up to him and told him she couldn't wait for him any longer, she needed to find her happiness too.

Without Hesitation is told in alternating past and present tense. Writing in this style can keep the readers guessing at what happens, but I felt like it went to far with this story. It continues all the way through the story and I felt once she got so far, it could have just continued on in the present. It doesn't affect my rating because it didn't interfere with the storyline, just could have been enhanced without so much switching.

When Macie finally moves on its with somebody she grew up but didn't pay much attention to. She soon finds out that he had a crush on her all throughout school and can't wait to start their life together. I don't think I've ever disliked a character as much as I did him. Especially when something terrible happens and he does something that makes me want to do horrible, horrible things to him. This makes Greyson realize his mistakes and wants to make up to Macie, but will it be too late?

Without Hesitation is beautifully written with so much emotion put into the words that you feel them for days after finishing. Some parts of this story had my heart aching for the characters. I can't wait to see what else CJ has in store for us in the future!

Without Hesitation by CJ Azevedo

Review by Jen (BestSellers & BestStellars)

Without Hesitation by CJ Azevedo was such a great book! I loved the first two books, Without Boundaries and Without Doubt, and was looking forward to book three in the series, and CJ did not disappoint! When you’re reading this book, you really feel the connection between the characters and it makes you feel like you’re in the story with them. There are certain scenes where I laughed out loud, and there were parts where I felt like my heart was being ripped open. This was an amazing story and CJ did an awesome job with this novel!

I loved Macie. She’s successful, smart, funny, and beautiful. Macie was eleven years old when she first saw Greyden Michaels, and from that point on, she knew that he was it for her.

“He stopped laughing and looked at me, but kept smiling, and then he waved. That was the very moment I knew that I would love Greyden Michaels for the rest of my life.”

There was something in her way though, and that was her brother Declan and his friends that took on the protective role. Macie knew she was off-limits to Greyden because he wouldn’t risk his relationship with her brother for something other than friendship with her.

“A friend she was pretty sure she had loved since she was eleven, but a friend nonetheless, and as cliche as it may be, he was her brother’s best friend, so she knew he wouldn’t cross any lines.”

Macie and Greyden were such close friends, but Macie was in love with Greyden. He was surprised that he fell in love with her too, but he realizes that they’re too young to be in such a serious relationship. So instead, they stuck to friendship and pushed their love relationship to the future. The only problem with that is, Macie wanted her fairy tale and because of unfortunate events, Greyden wasn’t ready to give Macie what she wanted.

Then we have Greyden. Wow, I loved him! He’s smart, athletic, sweet, and hot! He has been friends with Macie for so long, that he didn’t think that he would fall in love with her. She’s supposed to be off-limits because of Declan, but Greyden realizes that he doesn’t see her in that way.

“Macie, I don’t know what the hell you are to me, honestly, I don’t. I think we’ve already established that I don’t see you as a little sister. Actually, what I see you as doesn’t even come close to that. Not even close.”

Greyden loves Macie. Spending so much time with her and just seeing how amazing she is, he couldn’t help but fall in love with her. But, he’s not ready for them to have a relationship because he thinks they’re too young to be committed.

“I wish I could be that guy for you right now, but I can’t. I know that others can’t either, but apparently, you’re going to have to figure that one out on your own. That’s why I ask that you wait ‘til you’re eighteen for the major stuff. Because, Butterfly ... God. Macie James, you’re not the girl guys screw around with. You’re the girl guys marry. You’re the girl I’m going to marry.”

Even though Greyden isn’t ready to commit to Macie and she’s planning on moving on without him, he can’t accept that because in his eyes, she’s always belonged to him. He has to suck up his feelings in order for Macie to be happy.

“That’s life, sweetheart. Life sucks sometimes, and sometimes life is beautiful. You just have to take it as it comes and look forward to the times it makes you happy. But always know, whether it’s a time that it’s making you happy or a time that sucks so bad you can barely breathe, you have me to come to. I’m always here, Butterfly. Always.”

I freaking loved this book! The intense connection between Macie and Greyden was amazing. I really loved the interaction between them. The main characters, as well as the secondary characters, were developed well and you really connected to all of them. I really enjoy a book that makes me feel like I’m a part of the story. I love being able to connect with the characters and feel what they are feeling. I loved that we got to see some of the characters from the previous books.

The quality of writing was great. The story was well-written and very enjoyable to read. This was such a sweet love story between two characters that had such amazing chemistry. The story kept me interested and I couldn’t put it down for a second! CJ Azevedo did an amazing job with this novel and I can’t wait see what’s next!

5 Diamonds for this wonderful story!!

** JOSIE'S 4.5 STAR REVIEW **

The Without Series by C.J. Acevedo is one of my favorite series and once I saw who the 3rd book was going to be about I was so excited to read it. I want to go on record and say that this book was the best in the series. The author gives us plenty of angst, heartbreak, hot sex and true love, even though it was not always happy and lovey dovey. The author ripped my heart out so many times in this book. I was crying (NO, LIKE UGLY CRYING), angry (LIKE WANTING TO THROAT PUNCH A COUPLE OF SLURRY TROLL MOLES). What I loved the most is that the author gave us dual POV’s both told in the past and the present. What I also love is that each book in this series can be read as stand-alone.

Since she was a preteen, Macie has loved Greyden, but he was older and her brother’s best friend. When she thought about her future, her husband, the father of her children Greyden has always been it – she always saw him by her side. He gave Macie her first kiss, her first date and all her first experiences and she knew she would never love any other man the way she loves him.

Greyden always saw Macie has his best friends little sister that is until her 14th birthday. That is when he realized he wanted her. However, he had obligations to keep and she was so much younger. The biggest reason he could not make Macie his was she was his best friend’s sister. He knew in the future he would make Macie his and they would be together. In the meantime he was going to make it hard for anyone else to claim her.

“You and I both know that’s not my style. I seem to have this problem though. We agreed that you wouldn’t see other guys, Macie. That’s selfish of me, I know but, I don’t know what the hell I’m doing here. You’re hoy as f*ck and I want you, like seriously want you. I know I can’t have you.”

“What sixteen year old girl do you know who sits around and holds onto her virginity because some older guy told her too? I’m getting confused here, Grey. You say you want me but you won’t let yourself or anybody else have ne, so I’m supposed to just sit at home every weekend while my friends go out parties just to make you happy?”

“I can’t make you mine right now, Mace.”

As the years go by, things change for the two and Greyden continually pushes Macie away but at the same time sends mixed singles. Eventually, Macie has enough and she moves on with her life. I was so angry with Greyden because he knew, he loved Macie. Greyden felt that by staying in the back ground he was giving her a chance to be happy because he had priorities and he could not put Macie or him first. He made so many mistakes, so many women in and out of his life, never committing except with Macie, she always came first no matter where or who he was with; Grey would drop everything for Macie. That is until he realizes he might have pushed her too far and his everything is about to become someone else’s wife.

“I’ve had one love my whole life and it didn’t work out for me. When you know who you’re supposed to be with but can be, you only other option is to settle.”

Since he cannot give Macie wants she wants and if she is truly happy, he steps back. The problem is stepping back makes it worse. When Macie’s fiancé, makes an epic mistake, Greyden steps in and everything changes for him at this point. He isn’t going anywhere.

“I want my Butterfly that floats when she walks, and sings that she doesn’t even know it. I need you call me ridiculous names and throwing tantrums when I don’t give you what you want and most of all I need you back to where you love without hesitation, where you love me without hesitation.”

Will Macie and Grey finally find their happily ever after? Has Greyden pushed so hard, that he finally lost Macie forever? This book drove me crazy. Greyden loved Macie and it was clear but he could not get his sh*t together. I knew without a doubt, they both loved each other and knew Macie was doing the right thing even though Greyden was her one true love. I started to get so anxious and frustrated at times because I wanted them together, I wanted them to find their HEA. Whenever, I thought they would finally get together something would happened. The timing was always wrong. I highly recommend you read this series and this book. It truly was one heck of a ride.

I cannot say enough about how much I love this series! The Without Series is such an amazing tale of 3 couples and their journey to find themselves and work toward their own happily ever after and Ms Azevedo does not disappoint in the third book in the series Without Hesitation. If you love angst and heartbreak, this one is for you! I felt the first two books she gave us true love stories that made you fall in love with falling in love but now in Without Hesitation, we get the angst and heartbreak and that falling in love is not always a pretty rosy picture. That even though you may be in love, things just aren’t mean to be. I have always said the first book in the series was one of my favorite but my angst filed heart is leaning to Macie and Greyden and being my favorite! There is just something about having my heart ripped out that I cannot stay away from! The book moves from past to present in both parties POV and is a complete story. This can be read as a standalone but you really should read the others. They are amazing!

Imagine being a young preteen and falling in love with your brother’s best friend. This is exactly what happened to Macie. As long as she can remember, she knew Greyden would be it. From their first kiss at her thirteenth birthday party Macie knew she would never love another like Greyden. But Greyden knew that he had commitments to fulfil and promises to keep, he couldn’t fall for his best friend’s sister. With time, if the time was right, they would have their moment. Yes go by and right when you think yes, this is it…. No… its not! I’m frustrated, I’m pissed, I want them to be happy damn it! Everyone around them is so happy and in love, why can’t they have their moment??? This is my ramblings of a crazy person because this is what this book did to me! Made me crazy! I want them to find each other! I want that moment to be right! They both deserve to be happy with each other. It’s so close I can feel it… then no. The timing is never right for them.

“He was my everything, to everyone around we were friends, but to him and I we were each other’s forever.”-Macie

“I want my Butterfly that floats when she walks, and sings that she doesn’t even know it. I need you call me ridiculous names and throwing tantrums when I don’t give you what you want and most of all I need you back to where you love without hesitation, where you love me without hesitation. “-Greyden

Greyden knows that Macie deserves to be happy… that if he cannot give it to her there will be someone else that can do that. He doesn’t expect her to wait for him until he is ready. Will Macie follow her heart to Greyden or will someone else be there to pick up the pieces? You need to read to find out!

“I’ve had one love my whole life and it didn’t work out for me. When you know who you’re supposed to be with but can be, you only other option is to settle.”-Macie

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU MEET THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE AT 14? WILL LIFE CHANGE YOUR FATE OR WILL LOVE ALWAYS LEAD YOU BACK?

Without Hesitation is the third novel in the Without series by author CJ Azevedo. The novel could be read as a standalone, but why should you fend off yourself to experience all the characters’ lives in the other novels in the Without series. CJ does a superb job introducing characters and engaging them in the next novels. Without Hesitation is told from the POV of Macie James and Greyden Michaels alternating from the past and present uncovering how two people’s friendship took them on a journey of heartache and love.

“That’s life, sweetheart. Life sucks sometimes…and sometimes life is beautiful. You just have to take it as it comes and look forward to the times it makes you happy. But always know, whether it’s a time that it’s making you happy or a time that sucks so bad you can barely breathe, you have me to come to. I’m always here, Butterfly. Always.”

Macie and Greyden first start their teenage crush on her 14th birthday wishing she could get her first kiss from her crush, Greyden. Greyden is Delcan’s best friend and her older brother, but when he decides to stop by her birthday party to take her a gift he notices she is upset. Scanning the party, he also notices she is the only girl not in a bikini. He immediately leaves without going unnoticed to go purchase a bikini, returns to party, and asks if she trusts him. She states she does, so he tells her in the bag is her gift and to go put it on. This is the first gesture of mini discoveries the couple will embark on uncovering who they are and especially of love.

“Macie could feel herself transforming, could feel the timid, shy little girl cracking under the force of the confident, strong, beautiful teenager Greyden had bought out in her with the purchase of a bikini and the empowering words, “You’re beautiful Macie.” His attention to her today was beyond anything she could have ever dreamt of and was something that will remain with her.”

CJ Azevedo’s novel is love story of two people transforming their friendship for more mature feelings as life occurs around them. You will feel as if you are on an emotional roller coaster pulling at your heartstrings of COMPASSION, SADNESS, ANGER, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS, FRIENDSHIP, TRUSTWORTHINESS, and LOVE.

" Everybody always tries to complicate everything. Life is simple. We work hard, love hard, and we drink cause is tastes good. You start to feel blue, do something to make you feel happy You’re confused? Ask questions to someone wiser than you .”

CJ Azevedo’s novel, Without Hesitation (the Without series Book 3), receives - 5 AMAZING STARS!

They say timing is everything and in CJ Azevedo’s Without Hesitation, that is exactly what Macie and Greyden are fighting to finally have.

Having been a part of each other’s childhood years, feelings eventually develop between them but the right time eluded the two from committing themselves to each other.

This book started out extremely well, I could not put my Kindle down and I was addicted to following through with their story. Would they finally admit their feeling for each other? Would they finally get the chance? All of these questions were swirling on my mind and I happily embraced them. However, as the pages kept turning, they started to feel drawn out and I continually looked to the bottom of my Kindle to see my percentage point and thought, “hrm, 40%?!” Point being, I felt that their story should have been told in a more condensed manner. This was the beginning of the end for me.

Macie having been around her brother, Declan and his best friends had always been sheltered and protected. There were many times in the book where I thought she was just way too naïve; where at first was entertaining and sweet quickly became a turn off. I soon craved a more independent heroine which I couldn’t see developing with her character. Greyden truly was her kryptonite and he made her want him and work for it. I was extremely bothered by this; feeling like he kept such a short leash on her and once he felt that she was starting to pull away, would immediately pull her back in. It was unfair and selfish.

What really twisted the already existing knife on my back was the invalid reason behind why they couldn’t be together. I couldn’t in my mind comprehend why that would stop them from being together and I just ultimately found it to be comedic in some sorts because there was no real point to it which was why there was no real climb to their story and lacked the heat factor. I also thought that the end of the story was rushed through and I was pulling my hair out because these should have been the parts to have been dwelled on. It’s what the reader, who has pushed through the mundane, deserved.

I was really bummed out about what became of Macie’s and Greyden's story. It started off so well and tapered off tragically. As with all reviews, mine is purely subjective. If you are a fan of CJ Azevedo then definitely give this a chance.

Without Hesitation is a great, emotional rollercoaster ride of emotions-frustration, some tears, and happiness. It grabbed my attention from the first page until I finished the last one. It was a perfectly paced sweet and sexy romance, and I will remember the characters for quite some time.
We are first introduced to our main characters at Macie’s 14th birthday party. Although it’s her birthday, much of the attention is given to her friends who are not shy in trying to get the boys’ attention. While they are in bikinis, Macie is in her one-piece. Grey, her older brother’s best friend and Macie’s crush, decides to remedy the situation. He decides to give her some confidence by buying her a bikini. It works, and she gets everyone’s attention, including Grey’s. This is the beginning of their long, complicated relationship. They do share an attraction, but both decide it’s best to remain friends. Without ruining anything, I will tell you their relationship goes through many, many changes throughout the years.

I loved so many aspects of this book. The pacing was perfect, and the romance was not rushed at all. The chapters were told from both Macie and Grey’s POV, and they alternated between the past and present. This allowed me to see the deep, abiding friendship these two shared and how their intense love story developed. And, I’m not exaggerating when I use the word “intense.” I loved both of the characters, but yet there were times I just wanted to throttle both of them. However, this frustration is what kept the story moving forward. This was a couple I really wanted to get their HEA, and they now are one of my favorite “book couples.”

While I loved the romance and sexual chemistry between the two characters, my favorite thing was their deep friendship and thus love for one another. It didn’t matter what their circumstances were or who they were with, if one of them needed the other, they were there for one another. Now, if you want to know if this leads to happily ever after between the two of them, you should really one-click this one today. You won’t be sorry…it really is a perfect balance of love, sex, and friendship with humor sprinkled within the pages.

I can't get enough of this series, but I will tell you that I think I love Grey the most of all!
Doubt in ones self worth. Doubt that you are more than enough. Enough to love a beautiful butterfly. Enough to be loved by the beautiful butterfly. Simply ENOUGH. This is a story of what happens when you doubt your self worth. An amazing man that has rejected the fact that he is the perfect person to love and be loved by the woman of his dreams... his butterfly. Always with in grasp but never letting himself be completely hers, Grey has placed himself in a standstill for the better part of his life doubting that he was enough for the woman he has loved since childhood.
Macie has loved Grey her whole life. But knew that he would have to learn that he was the perfect man for her before he gave his whole heart to her, so she waited. But when the wait became to hard to bare she gives up closing the light that shone only because she was his butterfly. So she retracted herself and became another person, always hoping that he would help her find her wings again so that the light in her heart would shine and bring the color back into her life.
What they didn't know was that they were fated to be together! All of their heart ache and self discovery bringing them closer while pulling them apart. Make sure that there was no other conclusion of their love for one another!
I told you I loved this book! Grey and Macie made my heart sign and crash and sing again all in the span of the pages of this amazing story. Love can make us doubt, but you know it really is love when you feel that the one you love should have more, should have better, when all they really need is you.
If you haven't read this series you don't know what you are missing. If you start with this book.... I know that you will fall in love with Grey and want to know more about the rest of the characters. I know I fell hard for Declan(without Doubt) more so than Talon( without boundaries) But Grey I fell hard for Without Hesitation. If I were Macie I wouldn't have hesitated to wait for Grey to grow up either. An amazing book and an amazing series!

In this installment we get story of GREYDEN AND MACIE.

From the very beginning of the book you see the connection between the two of them. Grey has a mad crush on our girl Macie. Problem...Macie is his best friends only sister and three years younger than him. Macie, has been crushing on Grey since she was 11!

On Macie's 14th birthday, Grey notices that Macie is acting a bit shy and is not wearing the typical two piece bathing suit her friends are. No boys are approaching her and he sets out to start a new tradition with his first love.
You will see that tradition transpire through the book.

The night of her party he makes sure to give her a gift he picked out specially for her, a beautiful locket. She also gets her first kiss....swoon for a 14 year old who gets her kiss from her first love. That night Grey also gets a first... this first surprises him and hence her nickname was born.

The relationship between Grey and Macie grows throughout the years. I love what CJ Azevedo did in telling the story. We got to see our two characters grow over the period of about 11 years.

In that time period Grey was an important part of Macie's life. They had plans, they dreamed, they shared they became each others best friends. Sadly, life, real life got in the way. The hopes and dreams we have can easily be deterred and what we wish may not materialize how we expected.

Macie had a life plan. Our girl has a timeline it seems and she has goals. These goals need to be accomplished. In her planning she lost faith and patience. She makes a very poor choice and it will comeback to bite her.

But..she has also build a stable foundation with Grey. But how stable is it? This will be tested.

Never rush destiny. What is written in the stars will happen. Have faith and all will be fulfilled. When we don't leave room for the unexpected we will get sucked in to what we think we want not on what is meant to be.

CJ Azevedo had me falling in love with Grey even in his weakest moments. But thats ok. Patience is a virtue and true love is always meant to be.

My new 1-click author.

Without Hesitation

C.J. Azevedo

This story was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review by We Love Kink.

C.J. Azevedo writes a beautiful love story. This is the third in the Without Series and I confess I feel the urge to read the first two now. Let me tell you why I believe this was a great book. Their love is real and long lasting, sometimes books condense too much stuff in too sort a time period, here, not the case- Macie and Greyden have been in love for years. It was also true to life- these were so honest emotions and believable conflicts that they were facing. Secondary characters- there were plenty of these and they played a large role in the story, I loved it. I believe that these characters help to make the story and certainly are responsible in creating the characters that we love.

I digress; let me tell you a bit about the book, Macie and Greyden have known each other for years, since she was a pre-teenager. He gave her first kiss a fourteen so it would be memorable and her first bikini to help her fit in with the “in” crowd. Over the years they would experience many more firsts together and could always be counted on to be there for one another. But something always interfered when Macie wanted to get serious. She wants to build a life, she wants family and children and this is something that he is not prepared for at the moment. Macie realizes that maybe if she wants these things that it can not be with Greyden. It is a heartbreaking decision for her but she decides to move on.

What happens next will change the lives of many. It will certainly put things into perspective as all characters needs to reassess what is important to them and what matters the most. A true tear jerker at times and then at others we almost feel the need to shake some sense into people. Please read to find out what I am talking about.
I would definitely give this story a 5/5.

This book was really good. I didn't want to put it down. It switched from past to present and I would get so frustrated when the chapter would end because I wanted more, but had to wait. Lol. One of these days I will read all past chapters first then all the present. Ok I am just joking there!!

Macie has been in love with Greydon all her life. She knows things about him that his best friends don't. They may plan a life together when they are younger, but as adults do they get it?

Macie understands Greyden, but is she making the situation worse or helping? She needs to learn to love him or let him go.
She has been fighting for him for years and he won't commit to her. After one terrible night she realizes she needs to move on with her life. She becomes a shell of herself and let's herself take a marriage, babies and the white picket fence promise without thinking of the consequences. She wants it and has always wanted it with Greyden, but he will never be ready especially if he can have Macie and the freedom to do anything he wants. Will she finally get her happily ever after? If so, with who?

Mitch is an ass from day one. I didn't like him at all. I wish I could have jumped through the pages and castrated him.

Greyden is very determined to live his life the way he wants and needs too. He really isn't trying to be selfish even though that is what he is doing. He wants Macie, but doesn't at that time so he goes his way and expects Macie to wait for him. And of course she does repeatedly. Who wouldn't want to be with the only man you've ever loved? Can Greyden get to the point in his life where he can settle down? Will he get there before he loses Macie? Or will Macie marry Mitch?

This book was a little frustrating for me. I definitely recommending reading this book and the first two in the series!! You will love all the characters involved in these books!!

Without Hesitation (Without, #3) by C.J. Azevedo

'Without Hesitation' is another emotional rollercoaster ride in the fabulous 'Without' series. It pulls you in from the first page and won't let you get off until you've sampled each devastating low and passionate high.

This is a cleverly written book. We experience Macie's and Greyden's present day lives from their points of view but learn about their eleven year love story from a third person point of view. Macie's and Grey's present day love story stands alone full of angst and desire. The story of their past lives and loves enriches and intensifies the emotional depth of the story.

Macie is a complex character. What seems like weakness when she waits for Greysen, until he thinks he can give her what she wants is in fact the behaviour of a girl and then a woman in love. She is very young when she believes herself in love with Greysen and he knows and accepts this. His weakness is in not realising when she becomes a woman, able to make her own decisions and mistakes. The journey they take together and apart allows them to grow and appreciate the change in the other before they can find their happy ever after.

I loved the complexity of this story. Particularly the effortless way the past informs the present emotional characters of Maisie and Grey, a lovely poignant read.

I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.

C.J. Azevedo writing seems to get better and better with each of her books! This book was by far the best and most emotion evoking of the series so far. It was such a great read that I found myself attached to my kindle, not wanting to put it down until I finished it!

Macie has been in love with Greyton since she was 11 years old. Growing up, he is her knight in shinning armor and always had her back. Greyton, even though best friends with her older brother, never thought of Macie as his little sister even though all of "the boys" did. He knew she was special as a young girl and through the years he has fallen in love with her. But he is 3 years older and with Macie still in high school, he decides that they should wait for a committed relationship and stay best friends. Years pass, life happens and mistakes are made. Macie decides that she can't wait for Greyton and her happily ever after anymore especially when she meets someone that wants to give her the life she has always wanted. Greyton isn't so sure that he is ready to let go of the dream. Will he pull himself together enough to win her back or will he decide to let her find her happiness with someone else?

Without Hesitation has many flash backs telling of Macie and Greyton's past that help you get to know them and fall in love with them both. Their story is full of love, heartbreak, soul searching and friendship. The story has great character development and so much depth. There are times when you want to knock some sense into both of them and also times when you just want to embrace them. There are so many great characters in this series that I look forward to the reading the next book regardless of who it is about!

I can say with certainty, this has been my favourite of the series so far. It had a completely different feel to it than the previous two and I believe it would be possible to read this book as a stand alone, however there are spoilers so I would advise reading the series in order.
The story is about Macie, who is Declan's Sister (He was the main guy in book 2) and Greyden, one of Declan's best friends. Both have appeared already in this series and if I'm honest, I didn't pay them much attention before, but out of all the characters and romances, there's seemed the most real.
Macie has loved Greyden since she was eleven years old, but since she was fourteen, both have always found a reason why they couldn't commit to each other permanently.
Personally Greyden came across as pretty selfish, but he has his reasons and I couldn't help but love him. I adored Macie and because the book was made up of flashbacks going back a few years every other chapter, it was clear that she went from dreaming of her fairy tale happy ever after to her heart slowly breaking and I truly did feel her pain and also Greyden's to some degree.
My only criticisms would be that there were a couple of changes between third and first person perspectives, but to be honest it was barely noticeable and didn't detract from my enjoyment of the story in anyway and there were a couple of minor things that left me with some unanswered questions. But what I did get was an amazing beautiful, emotional love story.
I am absolutely over the moon that I can find very little to criticise about this book and it is clear the CJ Azevedo has grown as an author and I find myself hoping that this isn't the last book in the series.

How many 13 year old girls can say that they meet and fall in love with their soul-mate? What happens when everything as time goes on keeps your dreams from becoming a reality? Do you settle for the wrong man, even when the love of your life is staring you in the face? These are the choices and challenges that Macie Jones faces in the book, Without Hesitation.

Without Hesitation follows Macie and Greydon. Star crossed lovers who can't seem to get out of their own way and out of their heads to follow their hearts to one another. She falls in love with him at the tender age of 13, making promises to him and getting her first kiss. And as time goes on, falling more and more in love with the very lovable Greydon Michaels, her brother's best friend. (We've all been there right? I know I did growing up!)

Time goes on, Macie grows up into a beautiful "Butterfly" as Greydon calls her and as badly as he wants to love her forever, he can't commit. Too many things are in his head to keep him from it. She moves on but they still fall into a "friends with benefits" category without family knowing.

After Macie's engagement goes south, Greydon is there to pick up the pieces and they finally realize that they are truly meant to be together forever. Without Hesitation, they get their happily ever after.

Believe me when I say you will NOT be disappointed when you read this book, but you have to read Without Boundaries and Without Doubt first to get a feel for the other characters. And I assure you, I wasn't sure what to think when I started this series. But I definitely found a new found love series that I can go back to time and time again. I look forward to reading many more things from CJ Azevedo in the future!!

Ahhhh I love a good old true love story!!!! This one is without a doubt a winner! This is the 3rd book in the series and I think it is my fave!!!!!!

Macie has been in love with her brothers best friend since she was eleven, she knew from the very beginning that he is her knight in shining armour, she thinks that he can take on the world and win. It is not until a few years later that Grey starts taking notice of little Macie, and even thought he is 3 years older he cant help but be drawn to her. What I love about their relationship is that they start out as friends, sure Macie seriously crushes on him but they are both sensible and realise that it is too soon for the type of epic romance that they know they will eventually have.

Unfortunately life does not always work out the way you want it to, and Macie gets sick of waiting for Grey to grow up and realise that they are right for each other, so she decides to move on and be with someone that at least wants her. Too bad that Grey realises too late what he wants, and what he wants is Macie, he can not imagine her with anyone but him but time is running out for him to make his play.

This is such a lovely love story, it just makes me laugh when I think about how easy it is to plan your life and know what you want, and how much of a sense of humour fate must have, becasue life never happens the way you want it to, and when it comes to true love, there are no compromises.

Truly enjoyable read, the best in the series by far. Don't miss out!!!! Pick up the first book and start today!....

Since she was 11 Macie James was iun love with Greyden. I loved the other books in this series! This was a book with the highest level of angst. Macie and Grey should have been together but they had secrets. Secretly they fight the desire to be together and the desire to tell everyone they are together. For Grey it seemed like his character was asking Macie for her innocence and loyalty, while he could sort of run around.

Being next door neighbors with Greydon's family only makes matters worse. So these two characters make a pact to save Macie and her virtue until she is 18. For spoiler reasons I will say he gives her a reason. I liked the story and the characters but I was not a fan of the alternating chapter timelines. I hate them actually and when you get into the 14 year old Macie and the next chapter is the 23 year old Macy it really retracts from the flow, but it is my opinion.

So the question is why do they keep their love for one another a secret from his parents and her brother, who is Grey's best friend? It has to be read.

Another like for me was Mitch. He was her boyfriend and on the short term actually, they sort of rushed things and I think in her mind she wanted the fairy tale and would have been willing to sacrifice true, real honest love for that. He was a future politician and I loved the way the author wrote him. He was arrogant, self centered and so driven in his career. I would say he was the one you love to hate. So I loved to hate on Mitch.

Without Hesitation is the third book in the Without series. This book is in the perspective of Declan's sister and friend, Macie James and Greyden Michaels. Macie and Greyden have always been important to each other since they were young. The two were a couple for some time before they broke up due to Greyden's struggle and issues with commitment.

Straight away, I've noticed a huge difference with the writing structure for the third book. The story is written in their perspective and it alternates between the past and the present. I'm really glad that it was done this way because it's interesting to see how their relationship was like previously. I thought the pacing of the book was really great. It builds up slowly which I appreciated because the previous books progressed a little too quickly for me.

The relationship between Macie and Greyden is complicated, yet it's not. What I mean by that is you can tell that these two characters love each other a lot, but certain circumstances are holding them back. It's unfortunate really. Other than that, you can tell they belong to each other and the chemistry that they have is just...indescribable.

All in all, I really enjoyed Without Hesitation. I definitely think that the series gets better as you move along. It's a really good romance novel that I think a lot of people would certainly enjoy.

Without Hesitation is the third book in The Without Series by CJ Azevedo. All three are complete stories and can stand-alone, although reading each one will give you background for the other books in the series. This is Greyson and Macie’s story and it starts back at her 14th birthday. Unlike the other two books in this series, Without Hesitation goes back and forth over the last 11 years. You get two points of view throughout the entire story, and the “flashbacks” are broken down in chapters.

It was a little difficult going back and forth in the beginning, but CJ Azevedo was laying the groudwork for the ultimate love story. Greyson and Macie were best friends, even if their friends didn’t know the extent of the relationship. There were moments when I found myself being angry with Grey for his selfishness, although he didn’t see it as selfish – he was trying to do right by Macie by not making a commitment until he could back it up. On some level, I understand but as it continues over the years, you just have to ask yourself how long would you wait?

Good question. You’ll have to read the book to find out what happens in Grey and Macie’s situation and if they ultimately find what they’re looking for. I’d put this series in my beach-read pile. I think Grey may actually be my favorite BBF out of the three books in the series.

Without Hesitation is a wonderful romantic story that takes the reader on a journey of love, heartache, self-discovery and joy.

We meet the characters in the first chapter during Macie's 14th birthday party. Macie is shy and a wallflower at her own party and Grey, her brother's best friend notices this and decides to help her out. He buys her a bikini and tells her to put it on and trust him. This is the start of a wonderful friendship between Macie and Grey. Macie leaves her shell and becomes a young lady that people notice.

The book is told from Macie's and Grey's POV and alternates between the present and the past, so you do not miss anything. The reader witnesses the character's love for each other blossom from the friendship to an undying love throughout the story.

Both Macie and Grey fight there own battles of life, but remain true to supporting each other through the rough times. I will not spoil the story with details, but this book is worthy of one clicking and reading.

If you enjoy a sweet sexy romance with a little dash of humor, then this story is for you.
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading about how two people are destined to be together.

When I was asked to review these books. I thought that they sounded nice and easy to read. I was wrong on one account, it was easy to read, They wasn't just NICE, they were stunning. I love this series. I read all three in the series. and they are amazing. All the books are interlinked, but separate in the couples they are about.

Without Hesitation is about Macie and Greyson. Macie is Declan's sister and Greyson is one of his best friends. Greyson has always looked out for Macie ever since she had a pool party when she was a teenager. But was it more than just looking out for her?

Greyson is Hot, but a total player. never settling down over the years. Never acknowledging his feeling for Macie was more than looking out for her. Macie Has always had a thing for Greyson, and would like nothing more than taking it further. Then she decides she can't wait any longer, which starts a chain of events.

I loved reading these books. They contain all the perfect ingredients you need for a successful series. The flow and style of the writing is good. it doesn't leave you wandering in any parts. The characters are well written and thought out. I cant wait to read more by CJ Azevedo.

I give these book 4/5 stars.

Without Hesitation is book number 3 in the Without Series. This is Greyden and Macie’s story.

Greyden Michaels is swoonworthy; he is gorgeous, sexy, and loyal. When he is in his teens he falls in love with his best friend’s sister Macie. Greyden being the great guy that he is promises he will one day marry Macie but not until he can give her the life she deserves. He also waits to make a move on her until she is 18.

Macie is in love with her brother’s best friend Greyden but she cannot wait forever for him to be ready to be with her. She wants to start her life. Unfortunately Greyden is bogged down with family responsibilities and wants to wait for the right time. Macie cannot wait that long and finds what she is looking for else where.

Throughout this story, Greyden and Macie’s relationship is constantly up and down and back and forth. I just wanted the rollercoaster to stop. It was frustrating to see what these two had together and that they couldn’t realize it.

The story was touching. It made me mad, sad and happy all throughout. Some chapters were a little bit rushed and I felt like there were key points missing. Overall a great story though!

I received this for an honest review!! In all honesty I absolutely LOVED it. I am and always will be a sucker for the second chance romance and essentially this is what that was. Greyden and Macie have know each other and been in love with each other since Macie was 11 years old. Greyden is her brothers best friends and lived next door. When Macie turns 18 they try to have the relationship they always wanted although it doesn't work out quite that way. They stay in each others lives and bed throughout the years. Until Macie decides she wants and needs the change and meets someone else and this is where the story begins.
I absolutely fell in love with this story. The most enjoyable part of this story was that you get to see the past and the present with these two and how connected they are and will always be. With this book you can just feel the love pouring out of these characters. Once I picked this book up I was unable and unwilling to put it down... I read all three of these books and NOT 1 disappointed me. I fell absolutely in love with this series and this author.. I cant wait to see what comes next.

Macie and Greyden....oh I could give them both a kick up the arse to be honest! It doesn't matter what your life is like Grey, if you love your girl then you go after her and you commit to her. And Macie....you never ever EVER 'settle'.

I enjoyed reading the 2nd book and I gave that 5* because it was so well written. CJ Azevedo writes a very fluid story. Her character depth is fantastic. Her stories are well thought out and well planned, and totally makes sense.

But...yes sorry, there is a but...The timeline jumped about in this book so much that I felt it interupted the smoothness and flow of the story. At times I got confused where abouts we were in the grand scheme of things, and that spoilt this book for me. I understand that there were scenes in the past that the author wanted to revisit, but I just don't think it works. Well it didn't work for me in this book.

While I loved reading about Greyden and Macie and all the 'brothers', the timeline was just a mish mash and for that reason, I rate this book a 4*

Amazing once again!! I held on from the beginning to the end.. I just couldn't put it down.... It was just that good.

I'll always be a Declan girl. But shit Greydon was just oh god he was amazing. I loved everything about the book I really really did enjoy how we had both the past and the present where written. It was easy to follow the story this worked out better for me. I enjoyed reading about all the struggles and all the issues they went through. I seriously wanted to scream at Grey to get his shit together. This book has it all I mean that. It gives you enough of the hot sex and enough of the love story. I was sucked into the story so fast I couldn't stop myself.

I think I fell in love with each character in this book. Well all except one!!!!! But I won't say much about that one. I totally recommend this book C. j has done it again her writing is amazing and her stories are so goooooood......l

MY REVIEW

This was a saddening, captivating and cute story of Greyden and Macie.

You see both of these characters care about one another at an early age. They care but Greyden wants things to go a certain way for Macie.
However, no matter what or how Greyden states things Macie always allows and goes for what he says. But for how long can she wait for their forever?

You will love these two together! You will fall in love with Greyden and want him.
**CJ can G come pick me out a sexy bikini? :) <3 **
He's sexy, loving and always has and will want and love Macie. Be prepared to be frustrated with him as well!! bahahaa

Macie has always loved and wanted Greyden. There are battles they face over the years and Greyden's firm standings... but she's always loved him. You will find her sexy, sassy and an extremely likable lady.

And the ending... that was brilliantly done. You will end this book loving how everyone feels and how it concludes.

Wonderfully done.
