This book was the absolute perfect companion book to have alongside me for pregnancy. As someone who appreciates a checklist, I found this book fit me well and had a compreh nsive collection of lists to cover all aspects of my pregnancy journey. I used this book prolifically throughout my journey and brought it to lots of appointments, my baby showers, and classes as a reference to help guide me and educate me during my first pregnancy. I highly recommend this book to any pregnant woman, but particularly to first time pregnant moms. My copy is well used and will continue to be well used as it has several useful lists for taking care of my baby girl in it as well!
I am a first time Mom and read this book during pregnancy. I found that the checklist in the beginning of the book is a MUST to keep you and your partner on track to preparing for a new baby. The actual reading material was OK but I paired the checklist with “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” and feel well informed and prepared.
I love lists. Writing out lists helps organize my thoughts and get everything down on paper. No matter how hard I try to put everything on the computer, I always revert back to paper. I have so many notebooks worth of To-Do Lists and lists of dreams, thoughts, and items I want to order in catalogs. When I was a kid, I would stack up American Girl Doll magazines and Toys R Us sales papers and write out what I wanted for my birthday and Christmas. My love for lists runs deep!
When I was looking for my next book to review from Blogging for Books, I was pleasantly surprised to find one that was not only a list book, but something I can use in the future! I am an overly practical person so it knocked out 2 birds with 1 stone.
