Meet the uncanny Krewe of Hunters! The members of this special unit of the FBI—a group of elite paranormal investigators—visit some of America's great cities to solve unusual cases. They uncover unearthly reasons for these crimes, both past and present—and all-too-human ones….
In The Unseen, an unseen crime brings them to San Antonio, Texas, where a young woman's murder during the 1800s is paralleled by another woman's present-day disappearance—from the same place.
Then in The Unholy, an unholy 1940s Hollywood crime is repeated in the Los Angeles of today. Only the Krewe, with their special abilities, can solve it.
In The Unspoken, Lake Michigan, near Chicago was the site of a ship's disappearance in 1898 with all on board; the recovery of that ship, with its unspoken secrets, brings new death.
And in The Uninvited,a crime of passion in Philadelphia during the Revolutionary War seems to have brought an uninvited guest to the house where that crime took place.

Love the Krewe of Hunters series from Heather Graham. All the stories are full of fun facts, mystery and suspense, a couple who not only work together to solve the mystery but also manage to fall in love. I enjoy, and recommend, them all. I really hope this series continues for a long time
Enjoyable and had my attention for the day. Liked most of the characters - although one or two got on my nerves at times - and the scenarios for each book certainly caught my attention. Location wise, each setting had a eerie vibe that added to the investigations.
Great ghost stories with likable characters and a few easy to dislike. The plots ate twisty enough but not so bizarre you feel tricked. Each story ends satisfying and the reader feeling that he or she was right or should have seen it coming. Great balance.
Investigators with paranormal abilities converge on the Alamo to solve several odd murders of women, starting back at the time of the Alamo. Invisible characters seen by only those with the power, enactments of past events again seen only by the gifted. The ending solution was surprising to me. Easy reading, but I do wonder about the paranormal gifts.
Well written and executed. Very easy to read and follow. The only thing I found disappointing was that this volume did not have the recipes at the end of each book like the single books have.
